自我介紹是幾乎所有外國語學(xué)校面試的首選題型和必答題目,它可以讓面試官了解孩子的基本情況,也能通過自我介紹看出孩子的英語功底以及溝通表達(dá)能力。
知識點(diǎn)2:自我介紹的題型
自我介紹一般分為兩部分:用英語進(jìn)行2-3分鐘的自我介紹;回答老師介紹中的問題。
1、用英語自我介紹
要求學(xué)生介紹自己,或者介紹自己的父母。介紹父母的時候有可能讓學(xué)生隨便發(fā)揮,也可能要求孩子用一個或幾個詞來形容父母,并給出解釋。
2.即興提問
根據(jù)孩子的自我介紹做進(jìn)一步“追問”,由于這個是因人而異的,因此內(nèi)容和形式都不固定,非常靈活。
比如孩子說自己喜歡音樂,面試官就可能和他聊聊他喜歡的音樂類型,或者近來最紅火的一場演唱會;又如孩子奧數(shù)突出,面試官可能就會順?biāo)浦鄣亟又_始問關(guān)于奧數(shù)學(xué)習(xí)的問題。

一般進(jìn)行自我介紹的指令說法如下:
1.Would you please tell us something about you?
2.Could you please introduce yourself briefly?3.Would you please do some self-introduction?
知識點(diǎn)4:介紹的內(nèi)容
1.打招呼:學(xué)生應(yīng)在開始介紹自己的時候跟主考官進(jìn)行禮貌性的打招呼,給主考官留下好影響。
2.亮點(diǎn)開頭句:外國人在很多比較正式的場合都會來一句“感謝…給我這個機(jī)會在此…”同樣,在面試過程中,如果同學(xué)們能在打完招呼之后緊接一句“It's my
honor to be here to introduce myself.”是給自己很加分的。因為這不僅符合外國人的表達(dá)習(xí)慣,也會顯得學(xué)生很有禮貌,增加老師對你的好感。
3.中英文名字:每個人說自己的名字當(dāng)然是得心應(yīng)手,從而導(dǎo)致在這一部分很多學(xué)生講的很快,甚至說的含糊不清。但要知道,老師是第一次聽你的名字。所以建議大家在說名字的時候稍微放慢語速,表達(dá)清楚。對于一些名字比較特別或者有特殊含義的小朋友,可以這一部分多說一些。
比如我叫方睿,我會說:“My Chinese name is FangRui.My mother gave me this name because Rui stands for smart, and she hopes me to be clever.My English name is Ray, I chose this as my name because it has the same pronunciation with my Chinese one.”
4.報考原因:一定要說明為什么要報考該校。這一點(diǎn)不要泛泛而談?wù)f我喜歡這個學(xué)校之類的。
比如可以說“I’ve heard that this school is very good at English teaching and I like English very much.I hope I can improve my English at this school.”之類的。
5.興趣愛好:也可以講講一些特長,比如籃球,舞蹈,樂器。當(dāng)然這里也不是說一句話“I’m good at dancing”就完了,若參加過一些比賽拿過一些名次最好就講出來,或者參加過什么演出,進(jìn)過校隊之類的。讓你的特長更有說服力。
如:面試過程中有同學(xué)說自己很喜歡足球,最喜歡的足球明星是梅西,然后聊了一些關(guān)于梅西的東西。這不僅可以表現(xiàn)出該學(xué)生除了學(xué)習(xí)之余德智體也有全面的發(fā)展,這些真實具體的內(nèi)容也會讓老師對該學(xué)生印象深刻。而干巴巴的幾句“I like English, I like dancing”則會稍顯英語功力和口頭表達(dá)能力不行。
6、家庭,性格,習(xí)慣:談?wù)摷彝サ膬?nèi)容主要是家庭人員數(shù),家庭成員等,性格和習(xí)慣的內(nèi)容最重要的一點(diǎn)就是貼近真實,讓老師更了解你。注意一些不太好的習(xí)慣,比如很愛打游戲,不愛做作業(yè)的,學(xué)生們盡量不要談及。
7.結(jié)尾:最后結(jié)尾加上一句“That’s all about me.Thank you for your listening.”讓你的禮貌有頭有尾。有些同學(xué)就是在說完了然后直接停頓,老師就不知道是你說完了呢還是你忘詞了。所以這個時候說一個如上句的結(jié)語很重要。

批注:自我介紹是比較容易得分的一項,學(xué)生可以在考試前充分的準(zhǔn)備,但是需要注意的是:自我介紹中切記結(jié)合自己的性格特點(diǎn),這樣才能給考官留下深刻印象。其次,盡量使用短句,如果句子太長,也可以拆分成短句控制在5句話左右,或者準(zhǔn)備十句話,分成兩部分。如果老師給的時間長,就十句話都說了,給的時間短,就只說重要的5句。記住四個字:特色,簡短。

一、口頭作文考情分析
口頭作文也是外國語學(xué)校面試常見題型。
按內(nèi)容可分為人物篇、寫事篇。
按形式可分為:
(1)命題作文,介紹人物或事物、發(fā)表觀點(diǎn)等;
(2)看圖說話。
二、口頭作文失分點(diǎn)
1、敘述或描述不夠全面,沒有涵括題目要求的表述所有內(nèi)容,詞數(shù)不足;
2、語言結(jié)構(gòu)簡單,詞匯貧乏,上下文意思不夠連貫
3、出現(xiàn)較多的詞匯、語音和語流錯誤。
4、敘述或描述與語境、功能和目的不甚適應(yīng),多處出現(xiàn)不遵守語言交際規(guī)則的地方。

一、朗讀的考情分析
朗讀短文主要考察學(xué)生的語音語調(diào),短文理解和口語表達(dá)能力。歷年試題中朗讀的短文字?jǐn)?shù)在70~110左右,題材較廣,問題為4個左右。
朗讀時,同學(xué)們應(yīng)注意語速適中,不要過快,以至于單詞發(fā)音不清楚,也不要過慢。連貫地朗讀,語音清晰,語調(diào)優(yōu)美,充滿情感?;卮饐栴}時,先思考一下,不要急于給出答案。
分析歷年朗讀材料考題,可以發(fā)現(xiàn),對于人物或事物的議論在面試題中占有穩(wěn)定的席位。無論閱讀材料怎么變,所出的問題總有那么一道需要同學(xué)們表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)。從考官的角度來看,這類題目一來可以看出學(xué)生是否讀懂材料,是對英語水平的檢測;二來通過具體的回答內(nèi)容可以考查到學(xué)生的邏輯思維和語言組織能力以及一些價值判斷,一舉兩得。
二、朗讀短文失分點(diǎn)
1、單詞讀音不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
2、沒有掌握連讀等技巧,朗讀不流暢。
3、語調(diào)平淡,把文章讀得沒有高低起伏,沒有抑揚(yáng)頓挫,沒有情感。
4、語速過快或過慢。
6、一聽完問題,沒有想好,就馬上作答,以致于思緒混亂,回答的亂七八糟。

小升初的英語口語面試,考的是臨場的應(yīng)變能力和反應(yīng)速度。我們可以從以下幾個方面來加強(qiáng)平時的訓(xùn)練,沖刺高分。
一、語音語調(diào)要正確
大部分學(xué)生在朗讀文章時,單詞的發(fā)音都很正確,基本不成問題。但是在語調(diào)方面把握得好就不容易了,不少同學(xué)把文章讀得如同涼白開一樣平淡,沒有高低起伏,沒有抑揚(yáng)頓挫,沒有情感浸潤,而這些正是朗讀部分考查的重要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
要想有所提高,最好的辦法是跟著錄音走,一個句子里哪里要重讀或是升調(diào),哪里要輕讀或是降調(diào),聽錄音找差距,然后盡量地模仿,在朗讀時適當(dāng)?shù)丶由弦恍└星樯?,如高興、悲傷、快樂、憂愁等情感變化,相信一定會給面試官留下深刻的印象。
二、語速要適中
文章的內(nèi)容其實很簡單,所以不少同學(xué)就不知不覺地提高了語速,忽略了句子之間以及段落之間的停頓,顧不上理解文章,最終導(dǎo)致在下一部分時回答不上問題。因此,同學(xué)們一定要注意:適當(dāng)放緩語速,注意句子和段落之間的停頓,這不僅在朗讀上顯得有松有緊,而且更重要的是能夠加強(qiáng)對文章的理解,以免在回答問題環(huán)節(jié)丟分。另外還有一個好處,就是能夠多掃幾眼后面跟著的單詞,比如在讀“The earliest……”這個句子時,要留意到“the”的發(fā)音要改變,但是如果讀得太快,則可能忽略這一點(diǎn),口語模擬時就有同學(xué)中招了。
三、萬一遇到‘新單詞’不會讀該怎么辦?
讀文章時如果碰到了不會讀的新單詞,這個時候千萬不要慌張,可以停下來向考官詢問,“Sorry, I don’t know how to read this word.”保證自己口語面試全過程的純英文表達(dá),這也是向面試官展示自己認(rèn)真專注的另一面,一般考官都會告訴你這個單詞的發(fā)音,畢竟這不是在考你的詞匯量,碰到不認(rèn)識的單詞很正常,你所要做的就是把會讀的部分讀好就足夠了。
四、回答問題要簡潔
在讀完文章后,回答問題應(yīng)該盡量簡潔、準(zhǔn)確、肯定。在充足的時間內(nèi),可以用簡單的長句來回答,即“主語+謂語+賓語”結(jié)構(gòu),反之則可以用短語來簡潔回答,針對相應(yīng)的when, what, where, how, why部分,準(zhǔn)確定位,給出正確答案。Step3 真題演練
