首屆“____”手拉手·快樂英語夏令營 英語夏令營介紹

英語夏令營，顧名思義就是通過暑期夏令營活動(dòng)的方式，貫穿與英語教學(xué)或者英語題材方面的活動(dòng)，安排與外教或者英語老師一起同吃同住同玩，發(fā)掘英語潛在能力從興趣入手趣味學(xué)習(xí)英語，體會用英語溝通的樂趣，提高學(xué)生英語能力的活動(dòng)。

英語夏令營根據(jù)地點(diǎn)不同可以分為國內(nèi)英語夏令營和國際英語夏令營。國內(nèi)英語夏令營通常采用全封閉教學(xué)模式，進(jìn)行全封閉英語訓(xùn)練，創(chuàng)造英語學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，提高參加者的英語能力。國際英語夏令營則是親赴以英語為母語的國家：英國、美國、澳大利亞、加拿大，與國際學(xué)生一起學(xué)習(xí)，一起參加活動(dòng)，與當(dāng)?shù)赜押眉彝ネ酝?，深刻體會異國的多元文化。參觀各個(gè)國家的獨(dú)特景觀建筑，暢游名勝古跡，提高學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣的同時(shí)，實(shí)質(zhì)地提升學(xué)生英語口語和聽力的能力

活動(dòng)宗旨

1、隨著國際經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化、一體化進(jìn)程加快，以及我國加入WTO、北京奧運(yùn)會舉辦成功、近年來經(jīng)濟(jì)的持續(xù)、快速發(fā)展，我國正日益緊密的融入國際社會。這些深刻的變化，對少年兒童的外語教育，尤其是英語教育提出了緊迫要求。眾所周知，語言是交流的工具，而英語又是現(xiàn)今世界上最通用的語言。因此，為廣大少年兒童學(xué)習(xí)英語創(chuàng)造良好條件，讓他們學(xué)好英語不僅是時(shí)代發(fā)展的迫切要求，也是事關(guān)我國能否盡快融入國際社會的關(guān)鍵所在。因此開展此次英語夏令營，以豐富多彩、生動(dòng)活潑的主題英語才能展示活動(dòng)，為少年兒童學(xué)習(xí)英語營造良好的社會氛圍，推動(dòng)少年兒童積極參加到學(xué)習(xí)英語的活動(dòng)中來，全面提高少年兒童業(yè)余文化生活水平。

2、通過此次夏令營活動(dòng)，開展“心手相聯(lián)，共同成長”手拉手活動(dòng)，建立城鄉(xiāng)學(xué)生聯(lián)誼，旨在讓隊(duì)員們在體驗(yàn)中成長，在活動(dòng)中體驗(yàn)到人與人之間的平等、尊重、信任、友善、理解、寬容與友愛，幫助他們形成積極向上的人生態(tài)度和情感體驗(yàn)，促進(jìn)學(xué)生良好文明素質(zhì)的養(yǎng)成。

3、通過此次夏令營活動(dòng)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的生活自理能力以及動(dòng)手能力，幫助學(xué)生養(yǎng)成良好的生活習(xí)慣和行為習(xí)慣。

活動(dòng)時(shí)間：

2010年7月8日—2010年7月28日（為期20天）

活動(dòng)對象：

全州大少年兒童英語愛好者（10~16歲）。

活動(dòng)特色

1、精心設(shè)計(jì)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容及活動(dòng)，力爭既體現(xiàn)地道的英語風(fēng)格，又兼顧學(xué)生的實(shí)際接受能力。

2、授課、主持等活動(dòng)均由外教進(jìn)行，另有英語老師擔(dān)任輔導(dǎo)員，全程協(xié)助外教開展教學(xué)與活動(dòng)，確保師生相互順暢溝通和活動(dòng)順利實(shí)施。

3、教學(xué)形式生動(dòng)活潑，活動(dòng)項(xiàng)目豐富有趣，將口語訓(xùn)練和歐美文化習(xí)俗等內(nèi)容融入輕松愉快的師生互動(dòng)中，讓學(xué)生在良好的英語環(huán)境中鍛煉口語，愉悅身心。

4、讓市內(nèi)學(xué)生與馬頸坳當(dāng)?shù)貙W(xué)生結(jié)成手拉手伙伴，通過系列的活動(dòng)增進(jìn)雙方的了解，加深彼此間的友誼，引導(dǎo)雙方學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)和生活上互相幫助，互相促動(dòng)，共同進(jìn)步。讓隊(duì)員們真切地體會一份真摯的友誼，體驗(yàn)一種不同的生活，讓學(xué)生形成積極的、豐富的人生態(tài)度與情感體驗(yàn)。

關(guān)于舉辦華中師范大學(xué)2012年暑期英語夏令營的通知

為推進(jìn)學(xué)校國際化工作，提高本科生的英語聽、說、讀、寫綜合運(yùn)用能力、跨文化交流能力和綜合競爭力，教務(wù)處和公共外語系擬共同主辦暑期英語夏令營。

一、培訓(xùn)對象：

具備一定英語口語基礎(chǔ)的2010、2011級博雅計(jì)劃班、基地班、交叉實(shí)驗(yàn)班、化學(xué)英才班及師范專業(yè)優(yōu)秀學(xué)生。

二、課程開設(shè)時(shí)間：

2012年7月1日至2012年7月17日，周六休息。

三、授課教師：

來自美國擁有豐富教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的外籍教師和公共外語系教學(xué)骨干教師共同授課。

四、授課內(nèi)容：

英語聽力、英語口語

五、授課形式及人數(shù)：

Dear teachers and classmates，It’s ,my honor to speak here,and share some feelings and thoughts with you.My name is kassia, a student from Class Two.in this summer vacation,I’m very glad to take part in the English Summer Camp where we can have a chance to know the foreign teachers and experience their different teaching styles.I think it’s a helpful activitity,so I feel very happy.From the classes,I have learned a lot about how to improve my spoken English.First, listening is very important.For the first few days,some classmates including me ,can’t understand what all the teachers said.When you don’t know the sentences they said, don’t feel upset,but just insist on listening.You will get the meaning from their gestures or expressions,also you can guess the meaning by the words you have learned in the setences.If you stick to listening to them carefully and try your best to understand what they said,you will find that,you can understand them well gradually.Second,interest is helpful.Knowing about the America culture is especially effective in fostering our interest.The teachers told us their families,the music,the school and geography about America.After that,many classmates become interested in America and want to have a visit there , so we will spend more in learning English.Third, vocabulary is necessary.The more words we memorize,The more we express exactly.But some classmates will say “It’s too difficult to memorize so many words!”,so we should learn words in some useful and interesting ways.For example,we have played a game called “Vocabulary Relay Race”, during the race, everyone searches the words in mind and run to blackboard to write,we are all excited and the game help us learn lots of words to enlarge our vocabulary.Also,we can keep words with the help of pictures.Kim let us write down a new word and draw a picture simply about it.By drawing, I find it’s easier to remember a new word.So if you find a good way to learn words,you have made a small success.Finally,speaking is the most important.It’s normal for us to feel nervous when speaking in public, but if we speak more, we will feel relaxed gradually.To me, one class is very impressive,that is “Speech Class”,and the most difficult is that it’s improvised.This is a challenge to us,we should have a quick thought,an exact expression and must overcome the feeling of nervous,Though we are afraid of this kind of activities,it’s really a good way to make progress.So try your best to find the proper way of learning English, I think if you make great efforts, you will succeed!
