I have been following with great interest the discussion inspired by Mr.Wang Li's article “Why Do We Need English?” published in the Local English Daily of 20th May, 1999.The one aspect of the English language that most of your correspondents seem to be unaware of is its widespread use as the international language of diplomacy, commerce and technology.It is the language of the United Nations and its agencies as well as of many other international bodies.We would be foolish to confine our vision to our national borders only.We are still, after all, dependent on other countries for technical and industrial assistance.How can we hope to be economically and technologically independent if we are not able to communicate in these areas outside our own country?

呵呵，我就是看電影學(xué)英語(yǔ)的。

用英語(yǔ)學(xué)電影，首先演員的口語(yǔ)一定要地道，但不一定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，實(shí)際上也沒(méi)有那個(gè)歐美演員是完全標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的。但是也不能太離譜，比如勇敢的心和辛德勒名單里口音就太重了，對(duì)于初學(xué)者來(lái)說(shuō)是不合適的。

所以好的電影并不代表有好的英語(yǔ)學(xué)校效果。一定要找相對(duì)發(fā)音比較標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的，英音就是英音，美音就是美音，不能混，也不能和其他地區(qū)的混。

如果你想學(xué)英音不妨試試《真愛(ài)至上》，里面幾乎全是大牌演員，都是比較純正的英音。而且電影本身也很有趣，很輕松?！缎掳谅c偏見(jiàn)》里的英語(yǔ)太老了。羅馬假日也不錯(cuò)，就是片子老了點(diǎn)，我個(gè)人不喜歡黑白的—當(dāng)然你自己看著辦。

如果你想學(xué)美音，可以試試《錄取通知》和《超人高校》《奇跡灰姑娘》《舞出我人生》一類的美國(guó)校園青春喜劇。這類電影里的臺(tái)詞都比較時(shí)尚，發(fā)音都比較準(zhǔn)（你叫它沒(méi)個(gè)性也行），而且?jiàn)蕵?lè)性很強(qiáng)。

如果你想學(xué)得輕松一點(diǎn)，不妨看看《功夫熊貓》《海底總動(dòng)員》《冰河世紀(jì)》等動(dòng)畫片，這些電影都是給孩子看的，發(fā)音準(zhǔn)，語(yǔ)速相對(duì)慢，娛樂(lè)性更強(qiáng)。

動(dòng)作片的話。。我推薦尼古拉斯凱奇的 勇闖奪命島，國(guó)家寶藏，空中監(jiān)獄。都很經(jīng)典（入過(guò)你能忍受BW的話），其實(shí)凱奇也有不少好看的文藝片比如《居家男人》

經(jīng)典的話我覺(jué)得還是 《拯救大兵瑞恩》和《亂世佳人》比較好，就看你喜歡不喜歡類型了。

再有，如果你想了解黑人英語(yǔ)的話 《絕地戰(zhàn)警1，2》是絕對(duì)值得看的，相信我。

最后推薦一部我個(gè)人很喜歡的：《戀愛(ài)假期》，兩個(gè)人英音，兩個(gè)人美音，俊男美女，大牌演員。不可救藥的浪漫。。

另外可能有人會(huì)說(shuō)，老友記。老友記是一部很優(yōu)秀的美劇，我也很喜歡，不過(guò)老友記為了塑造人物形象，里面的演員除了瑞秋說(shuō)話不是顛三倒四就是沒(méi)文化，要不就是發(fā)音極端，所以不適合你這樣的初學(xué)者。何況你是主要學(xué)口語(yǔ)，還

是等有了一定基礎(chǔ)再看這個(gè)比較好。說(shuō)到美劇，我建議你看英雄《heroes》，電驢上能搜到 yyets 的雙語(yǔ)版本。越獄太緊張，我們老師就直呼受不了，當(dāng)然我也喜歡越獄只是感覺(jué)不適合你現(xiàn)在的情況而已。

其實(shí)說(shuō)這么多，最后還的靠你自己練，就好象一個(gè)手藝，你看的再多，自己不親手做一下，是永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)的。電影看得多，不練，也是沒(méi)用的。
