一、考試簡(jiǎn)介

英語(yǔ)考試等級(jí)根據(jù)難度由低到高分為一級(jí)B、一級(jí)、二級(jí)、三級(jí)、四級(jí)、五級(jí)。其中，五級(jí)由教育部考試中心選定的高等院校負(fù)責(zé)，其它級(jí)別的考試由各地教育考試院社會(huì)考試辦公室負(fù)責(zé)具體實(shí)施。

PETS-4：四級(jí)是中上級(jí)，相當(dāng)于我國(guó)學(xué)生高中畢業(yè)后在大學(xué)至少又學(xué)習(xí)了3-4年的英公共語(yǔ)或自學(xué)了同等程度英語(yǔ)課程的水平。

PETS-5：五級(jí)是最高級(jí)，相當(dāng)于我國(guó)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)二年級(jí)結(jié)束時(shí)的水平。是專為申請(qǐng)公派出國(guó)留學(xué)的人員設(shè)立的英語(yǔ)水平考試。

二、考試內(nèi)容

考試分筆試和口試兩部分，內(nèi)容包括：聽力、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、閱讀、寫作、口語(yǔ)。筆試和口試均合格者，由教育部考試中心頒發(fā)給《全國(guó)英語(yǔ)等級(jí)考試合格證書》。合格證書既可作

為持有者英語(yǔ)能力水平的權(quán)威性證明；又可為各地各單位對(duì)其所用人才的英語(yǔ)水平提供一個(gè)公正、統(tǒng)一的評(píng)價(jià)尺度。

三、各等級(jí)評(píng)價(jià)目標(biāo)
