生學會“Past progressive tense”這一語法。我將通過訓練聽力、對話練習、閱讀及親身經(jīng)歷來幫助學生如何談論過去發(fā)生的事,讓學生們很好的掌握本單元重點——過去進行時。
發(fā)言人XXX:本單元SectionA部分通過“談論當飛碟降落時正在做的事”來讓學生們認識過去進行時,為了讓學生們更積極的參與到學習中,我認為可以借助于多媒體教學,進行圖片展示,從而使學生具有濃厚的興趣。
發(fā)言人XXX:通過SectionA部分的學習,學生對進行時已經(jīng)有一定的了解,所以,我認為SectionB部分可以通過聽力、閱讀、對話等方式來展開教學,幫助學生掌握如何敘述過去發(fā)生的事情,從而鞏固過去進行時這一重點語法。

設(shè)計理念:
1、本單元的教學活動始終遵循任務型教學的理念,“在做中學,在做中用”,在運用語言完成任務的過程中來學習、體會和掌握語言。
2.主要以現(xiàn)代化電教手段----多媒體輔助教學,貫穿整個教學過程。增加了教學的直觀性和趣味性,激發(fā)了學生積極參與的欲望,加大了課堂密度,提高了教學效果。
3、在教學過程中,關(guān)注學生的生活實際和生活體驗,讓其貼近實際、貼近生活、貼近時代,提倡學生參與、體驗、親身實踐、獨立思考、合作探究,從而掌握所學知識。教材分析:
教學內(nèi)容為“Go for it ”新目標英語八年級上冊第三單元Section A。學習內(nèi)容主要體現(xiàn)在以下3點:
1.學習有關(guān)人物特點的單詞:tall, thin, short, heavy, calm, , long hair, short hair, outgoing, quiet, funny, serious, smart, athletic, ect.2.學習人物比較的重要句型:(1)Pedro is funnier than Paul.(2)Tina is taller than Tara.(3)Tom is more athletic than Sam.3.掌握語法:the comparative degrees of adjectives(形容詞的比較級)學情分析:
本單元話題內(nèi)容貼近學生生活實際,同學們感興趣,有話可說,有話愿說。在新目標英語七年級(下)第七單元What does he look like?中曾學習過一些描述人物外貌特征的詞語,如:short, curly, straight hair, medium build, thin, heavy, blonde等,在學習本單元有關(guān)人物性格特征的單詞時,可以溫故而知新。學習語法知識點“形容詞的比較級”以及人物比較的表達時,應緊密聯(lián)系學生實際,就地取材,拿身邊的人或物進行對比,由詞匯變化到句子,再由句子擴展到語篇,使每位學生都能使用正確的語言結(jié)構(gòu)描述人物特點和進行人物比較,能自由談論自己的好朋友,以及他們之間的異同。教法設(shè)計:
(1)比較級是學生剛剛接觸的一種新的語法項目,而本單元的話題源自生活,以此為基點,我充分利用學生已有的知識和生活經(jīng)驗,創(chuàng)設(shè)生活化的真實情境(或半真實情境)引導學生在運用語言中學習語言,然后在學習新的語言知識后創(chuàng)造性地運用語言(在做中學,在做中用)。反復操練和鞏固應用是為了調(diào)動學生的積極性,使學生處于積極思維的狀態(tài)之中,全方位、多角度培養(yǎng)學生運用英語的能力。
(2)開展多種類型的任務型活動,提供給學生合作交流的空間和時間,促使學生為完成任務和同學進行合作,為完成任務進行探究性學習。由淺入深,由易到難,由已知到未知,循序漸進地深化教學內(nèi)容。
詞匯教學——采用情景介紹或展示圖片的方式進行教學,讓學生在情境中操練,理解含義并學會運用;口語教學——采用pair work、group work問答的交際活動互相操練;聽力教學——采取圖文配對和對話選擇的方式;寫作教學——以造句、作文為主;語法教學——模仿操練,抓住特征,總結(jié)規(guī)律。教學過程: Step 1.Lead-in 利用多媒體呈現(xiàn)明星潘長江、姚明等圖片激起學生的語言熱情,通過對人物外表的描述的復習,引出對人物性格特征描述的新詞匯教學。Step 2.presentation and practice 利用多媒體逐步呈現(xiàn)幾組明星圖片,對比教學新詞匯:calm/wild, athletic/weak,thin/heavy, serious/outgoing.通過兩兩對比進行人物對比,學習形容詞的比較級的構(gòu)成及其用法。)利用多媒體展示了幾組對比明顯的畫面,把比較等級在一系列既關(guān)聯(lián)又相對獨立的語境中詳細講解,反復演練,使學生全面掌握,充分地調(diào)動學生的積極性,吸引全體學生的注意力,以求達到很好的教學效果。

本課的又一次高潮是將游戲與練習有機結(jié)合,融為一體。使學生在游戲中進一步體會比較等級的運用。學生邊做游戲邊做練習,寓教于樂,極大地激發(fā)學生學習興趣,同時鞏固學生所學的知識。Step 4.Summary 讓學生自己總結(jié)本節(jié)課所學內(nèi)容,提高學生的參與意識,適當引入競爭教學,使學生在激烈、快樂的競爭氛圍中,鞏固了重難點。Step 5.Homework 將口頭作文形成文字。

1.從課堂反映可以看出學生們學習興趣濃厚,對形容詞比較級的運用較自如,完成了教學任務。本課利用多媒體教學,使學生從視、聽、說等方面得到了鍛煉;通過兩兩活動、小組活動等大量的口語練習使學生達到了能較熟練的談論人物之間異同的效果;學生在輕松愉快的氛圍中溫故而知新,提高了課堂教學效率;充分調(diào)動了學生自主學習的積極性。不過,在教學過程中我發(fā)現(xiàn)學生有時不能很好的區(qū)分單音節(jié)詞、雙音節(jié)詞和多音節(jié)詞,這就要求我在今后的教學中貫穿音標的教學。
2.“任務型”教學模式,把課堂知識與實際生活聯(lián)系起來,為學生創(chuàng)設(shè)了真實的英語學習環(huán)境,使學生所學的語言知識有了用武之地,層層遞進,由易到難,構(gòu)建由初級任務到高級任務并由高級任務涵蓋初級任務的循環(huán),使學生“在做中學,在做中用”,激發(fā)了學生積極參與的欲望,寓教于樂,引起了學生的共鳴,提高了學生的英語綜合運用能力。

閱讀課教學一直是我困惑的課型,并且我發(fā)現(xiàn)很多學生做閱讀根本就不看,只是直接到閱讀材料里找答案,這肯定是行不通的。而要提高學生的閱讀能力與學生的興趣、詞匯量、句式的掌握及閱讀技巧是分不開的,也與老師平時的指導與訓練密不可分。本課是新目標英語八年級下冊第4單元閱讀部分,本單元的語言目標是“report what someone said”(引述別人講的話),學習直接引語和間接引語。本課以“志愿者支教”為主要內(nèi)容,通過志愿者楊蕾的支教事跡和想法而引出助人為樂這一中心話題,培養(yǎng)學生擁有熱愛社會公益事業(yè)、扶危濟困的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。雖然事情并不陌生,但距離學生的現(xiàn)實生活較遠。所以,我首先以discuss people who need help and something we can do for them.導入,為學生創(chuàng)造輕松愉快的學習氣氛, 激發(fā)學生的好奇心,為學習新課打下伏筆。接著指導學生閱讀課文、讓學生提出疑難并幫助掃清閱讀理解上的障礙,對文章當中出現(xiàn)的重點語句做詳細分析。同時我設(shè)計了四個問題: who is yang lei? what did she do? why did she do that? how would it help? 問題簡單清晰易懂,在學習文章內(nèi)容的同時,幫助學生在頭腦中形成文章主線,鞏固文章大意。然后讓學生找出每段大意top sentence, 讓學生更加理解文本內(nèi)容,增強課堂實效性。最后show some pictures of the charities: greenpeace, doctors without borders, unic ef, wwf.讓學生分組 discuss which one you will choose and write the reasons.長篇閱讀豐富了本單元的課外知識擴展了學生的視野,是對本單元語言知識和語言能力的再利用和升華。我采用閱讀教學法,通過發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、分析問題、解決問題來獲得知識,強調(diào)自學與合作學習,在完成任務的同時學習語言。在閱讀文章,理解文章,分析文章之后做適當擴展和延伸。但在導入時學生思路并不開闊,所以我發(fā)現(xiàn)在導入前我應給學生做點語言鋪墊。在閱讀過程中,部分學生速度較慢,還應要求學生做好充分的預習。在概括每段段意時,只有少數(shù)學生能準確概括出段意,我應在概括段意前應教之方法。在學習文章之后.還應給學生一定的時間實現(xiàn)語言應用,圍繞課文開展各種形式的口,筆交際活動,如復述課文主要內(nèi)容、討論楊蕾等志愿者的行為是否值得學習、或談談自己對young people today need to experience different things.這句話的理解等,將語言學習和語言運用統(tǒng)一起來,同時增強對學生的情感教育.還有通過培訓學習我發(fā)現(xiàn)分組討論環(huán)節(jié)要有評價,否則活動只會流于形式。
