      as well as,as well

      這一對短語僅差一字之微,意義相近,故很易引起混淆。

      作為習語用作介詞時,as well as的涵義是“還有”、“不但?而且?”。值得注意的是,在A as well as B的結構里,語意的重點在 A,不在 B。因此,“He can speak Spanish as well as English.”的譯文應該是:“他不但會說英語,而且會講西班牙語”,決不能譯作:“他不但會說西班牙語,而且會講英語”。如果這樣翻譯,就是本末倒置了。as well as和 not only… but also…同義,但前者的語意重點和后者的語意重點恰好顛倒。

      2010---2011學第一學期八年級英語教學總結

      我們學校地處農(nóng)村,學生原有的英語基礎和學習英語的習慣都較差,這勢必大大影響了初中英語的學習效果,我從學生實際出發(fā),遵循教學規(guī)律,對如何在農(nóng)村初中英語教學中實施素質(zhì)教育用心探索。我認為,在英語教學中實施素質(zhì)教育的目標是提高全體學生整體素質(zhì),就是要讓全體學生,通過聽、說、讀、寫等方面能力的訓練,使學生獲得基礎知識和為交際初步運用英語的能力。因此,在教學實踐中,我想方設法幫助學生學會學習,以及激發(fā)和保持學習動力,培養(yǎng)自學能力,培養(yǎng)良好的學習習慣,把優(yōu)化課堂教學當成落實素質(zhì)教育的主渠道,盡最大可能為學生創(chuàng)造運用英語的景,指導學生積極地運用語言,在學中用,在用中學。

      一、貫徹課堂教學交際化原則

      1、五分鐘會話。每堂安排五分鐘左右時間進行會話。會話內(nèi)容有值日生匯報、自我介紹、家庭情況、談論天氣以及熟悉的歌星、影星和運動員等。讓學生自由用英語交談,允許學生模仿課文內(nèi)容適當增減,自由發(fā)揮。也可以根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容,通過問答形式作簡要的復述。在開展會話中,始終以學生為主體,引發(fā)他們的聯(lián)想思維,由單一的討論內(nèi)容過渡到綜合內(nèi)容,把幾個不同內(nèi)容的話題串聯(lián)起來,既復習舊知識,又開發(fā)了學生的智力。我特別注意,輪到中差生值日生時,鼓勵他們大膽實踐,并注意發(fā)現(xiàn)他們的“閃光點”,有點滴進步就給予表揚肯定,以增強他們的自信心。

      2、注重語感教學。加強聽說訓練,努力做到視、聽、說同步,培養(yǎng)語感和學習興趣。每篇課文的生詞、句型和文章都是朗讀的好材料。朗讀不能老是采用“跟我讀”的形式,而是要注意創(chuàng)造情景,讓學生懂得不同句子的重音有不同的語感,顯示說話者不同的語言的心理。同樣,語調(diào)的不同,重音的移動,也體現(xiàn)了說話者不同的心理狀態(tài)。經(jīng)過訓練了沒,學生在以后朗讀中也就注意了正確使用語音、語調(diào)和重讀、弱讀及升調(diào),這樣朗讀繪聲繪色,津津有味,整個課堂興趣盎然,學習積極性大大提高。

      3、對話使用,角色表演。結合課文內(nèi)容,每教授一個情景句型,讓學生用當天所學的自編一個簡短的情景對話,到講臺表演。如學到My family 這課,我發(fā)動學生都帶張“合家歡”照片,整個課堂就是歡聚一堂,在熱烈氣氛中學會并運用所學的句型,提高了運用語言交際的能力。

      4、運用直觀教具為了進一步激發(fā)學生學習興趣。我充分利用圖片、圖表實物、錄音機等教具,生動形象地開展教學和交際活動。利用實物和圖片教單詞,學生能更好地記住詞義,并能反復利用它們復習,其趣味性、直觀性較強。例如,用提問的方式猜物品,讓學生將實物與英語句子連起來,練習聽、說。教師呈現(xiàn)事先準備好的盒子讓學生猜盒子中的物品的形狀提問:Is it round ?如果是“蘋果”,教師回答“Yes, it is.”以下依次:“What color is it? Can I eat it?” 寓教于樂,引導學生多使用教具,結合列出圖表,做到快記、巧記。

      二、狠抓基礎,注意密度

      一方面突出知識重點,狠抓基礎,一方面面向全體學生,注意密度,把握節(jié)奏,備課先備人,平時注意了解和分析每個學生的具體實際情況,因材施教,有的防矢,合理安排好40分鐘教學內(nèi)容和進程,課堂上,讓每個學生都參與學習活動,學生實踐面較廣并在同一水平基礎上對內(nèi)容從多視角理解,多角度開展操練運用,即在互相理解的基礎上從聽、說、讀、寫不同角度展開,在教學“時態(tài)”這個既重點也是難點時,自始至終在情景中進行教學,突出了時間狀態(tài)和不同的謂語動詞,讓學生練習理解運用,并設疑釋疑、解惑,讓學生積極思考,改變過去以教師為中心,滿堂灌的狀態(tài)。

      三、溫故知新,克服遺忘。注意在課堂上經(jīng)常復現(xiàn)舊知識,讓學生反復操練,由易而順利地完成一個個學習目標。具體方法是:學習┈復習┈再復習。復習時做到系統(tǒng)性、針對性、綜合性。采用“滾動式”,擴大語言輸入。“滾動式”就是重復教材中的重點,用以前學過的詞語操練新句型或采用已學過的句式學習新單詞。以造句競賽的方式促進學生學習的積極性,激發(fā)他們的競爭意識,效果較好.四、當堂鞏固,注重反饋

      教學時要處處考慮如何發(fā)揮學生的主體作用,要以學生的參與程度和教學評價的得失作為課堂教學成功與否的尺度,所以,在學生經(jīng)過一段學習活動后,進行歸納分析,以鼓勵表揚為主,滿腔熱情幫助學生,及時處理反饋信息,當堂鞏固,如果時間許可的話,還可引導學生對一些易出錯的地方,如人稱變化,謂語動詞的形式變化、某些習慣表達的異同進行歸納分析,讓學生真正地學有所得.五、注意培養(yǎng)自學能力

      “授人以魚,不如授人以漁”教是為了學生的“學”,是要讓學生擁有學習的能力.因此,我重視對學生的課外學習的指導,幫助他們養(yǎng)成良好學習習慣和自學能力。

      1、早讀課,堅持聽新教材的課文錄音,加強聽力訓練,讓學生模仿地地道的英美人語音、語調(diào)。

      2、指導學生訂出學習英語長期計劃和短期安排,每天堅持搞好課前預習,發(fā)動家長幫助督促實施。

      3、擴大學生課外英語的攝入量.建議學生收看<<希望英語>>等節(jié)目,并鼓勵他們多讀一些英語小故事,嘗試去讀一些英文原著.4、強調(diào)作業(yè)的獨立完成,培養(yǎng)學生克服困難的意志。幫助學生認識到,做作業(yè)實際上是新舊知識的運用過程,一定要養(yǎng)成自覺獨立完成作業(yè)的習慣。

      5、培養(yǎng)學生認真聽課,初步運用英語思維和理解。

      6、從音、形、義幾方面培養(yǎng)觀察力和記憶力,打好語音基礎。

      7、用聯(lián)想對比,歸納演繹等記單詞和語法知識。

      英語作為一門外語, 其重要性已漸漸為學生們所認同.那么,如何幫助學生真正地掌握這一重要學科,更好地做好英語教學工作,作為一名教育工作者,我們需要付出更多的辛苦,努力成為一名真正合格的英語教師.2010---2011學第一學期班主任工作總結

      本學期,我擔任八(1)班的班主任工作。本班在學校領導的統(tǒng)一組織下,在我班各任課教師的大力支持和配合下,各項工作順利開展。在學習、生活等方面都取得了一定的成績?,F(xiàn)將我擔任八(1)班班主任工作的實際做法總結如下:

      一、德育工作

      我對本班的思想教育工作是圍繞以下幾點展開的:

      1、教會學生如何做人。學會做人是教育的根本,要求學生要做有道德、有理想、文明守紀、誠實守信、樂于助人、積極進取、尊老愛幼、孝敬雙親之人。當然,本人自己也時時嚴格要求自己,以自己人格魅力感染學生。

      2、教會學生如何生活。要求學生從小事做起、從點滴做起、從個人衛(wèi)生、個人理財、飲食起居等做起,逐步培養(yǎng)學生獨立生活能力。

      3、教會學生如何學習。本人要求本人的學生必須養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣,為自己終身學習打好基礎;必須做到全面發(fā)展,為自己的終身發(fā)展和特長發(fā)展做好準備。培養(yǎng)學生獨立學習、創(chuàng)新學習的能力,指導學生的學習方法、研究方法,鼓勵學生獨立研究,積極探究、勇于創(chuàng)新。當然本人自己也時時嚴格要求自己,以自己人格魅力感染學生。

      二、班級管理——無為勝有為

      加強班級管理,培養(yǎng)優(yōu)秀的學風、班風,深入了解學生。

      1、通過各種方式,指導學生進行自我教育,讓學生在自我意識的基礎上產(chǎn)生進取心,逐漸形成良好的思想行為品質(zhì)和自主學習的習慣。

      2、我有效地利用班會課開展一些專題性的活動。例如:人生觀教育、意志教育、學習經(jīng)驗交流會、辯論會、習慣養(yǎng)成教育等等,這些活動大大地促進良好的學風、班風的形成。

      3、我針對本班的具體情況,制訂了適合于各組的小組組規(guī),實行組長負責制。在學校教導處統(tǒng)一指導下我們學習了“中學生日常行為規(guī)范”“臨渙中學學生違紀處理細則”等校紀校規(guī),并做出明確的規(guī)定。如:儀容儀表、課堂紀律、晨讀、到校時間、小組學習、學科拓展等等。采用量化分制,每周評選出優(yōu)秀組,得分最高的小組推薦到學校予以表彰。由值日班干部負責登記并評選。班級設立意見本,可隨時留名或匿名對班級管理提意見或要求。

      4、在班主任工作中,本人注重班干部的培養(yǎng),致力于良好班風的建設,對所帶班級傾注自己的全部熱情,想盡一切辦法,利用一切有效的教育資源,開展豐富多彩的課外活動,把教育融入學生的文體活動中。本人認為,開發(fā)學生智力,促進學生非智力因素的發(fā)展,拓寬學生視野,使每一個學生健康成長,是班主任的重要任務。本人奉行“從本人做起,從身邊的小事做起”的育人原則,也逐漸摸索出了“寓德育于活動之中”的有效教育方法。

      三、后進生的轉化工作

      在這方面,我作為班主任首先做到以正確的態(tài)度對待他們,深入調(diào)查摸底,搞清楚他們之所以成為差生的原因,做到了因材施教,對他們處處真誠相待,時時耐心相幫,真正做他們的知心、最信賴的朋友,及時對后進生加強心理疏導,幫助他們消除或減輕種種心理擔憂,讓他們認識到自己的價值。

      四、重視對優(yōu)等生的教育

      對待優(yōu)等生的教育我把著力點放在他們學習的動機上,正確的引導他們積極進取,善于激發(fā)優(yōu)等生的創(chuàng)造才干,使其創(chuàng)造力充分發(fā)揮出來。

      五、積極開展好各項體育活動,做好課間操和眼睛保健操,增強學生的體質(zhì),提高學習的效率。

      六、積極主動地和各科教師聯(lián)系,協(xié)調(diào)學校個方面的教育力量,發(fā)揮好紐帶作用。

      擔任班主任期間,結合本班學生實際情況,制定奮斗目標,經(jīng)常和科任教師與學生家長保持聯(lián)系,緊密配合,對差生轉化工作方法得當,有成效。雖然取得了一定的成績,但仍存在不足之處。今后,我會更加努力,爭取做到最好!
