少兒3--6歲的這一年齡階段，為學前期，學前期是少兒語言發(fā)展和身心等其他方面發(fā)展的關鍵時期。少兒英語教學的內(nèi)容可選擇少兒感興趣的主題，由近及遠，由易到難，循序漸進地進行。其內(nèi)容可包括：動物、玩具、顏色、數(shù)字、食物等等，可先在3—4歲年齡段教簡單的單詞，到4—6歲的年齡段再進行簡單的口語教學，如先學習Pear(梨子)、Cat(小貓)、Banana(香蕉)等單詞讀音后，再由易至難，提升至短語及口語對話：Give me a pear，please!(請給我一個梨子)、It is a dog(它是一只小狗)，讓少兒在這一年齡段中得到適宜的階段性學習。

五、注重趣味性，將復習貫穿于一日教學活動中

不管什么人學英語，學過之后不復習就會忘記，這就要求教師在日常教學生活中，在學過之后，及時讓他們復習。通過復習，既提高少兒聽覺的感受能力，使之辨別出語音的細小變化，區(qū)別正確和錯誤的發(fā)音，又訓練少兒發(fā)音器官的協(xié)調(diào)性，經(jīng)過復習讓少兒掌握單詞的發(fā)音，同時可將隨機提問、師生問答、角色表演、游戲等多種有趣味的形式，貫穿于復習中，以減少復習的機械與乏味。
