1.parental leave“育嬰假”，很多國(guó)家都將育嬰假作為一種employee benefit（員工福利），為員工提供paid or unpaid time off work（帶薪或無(wú)薪假期）以方便他們照顧孩子。跟孩子相關(guān)的假期還有maternity leave（產(chǎn)假），paternity leave（陪產(chǎn)假，即妻子在享受產(chǎn)假期間，男方享受的用來(lái)照料對(duì)方的假期）、及adoption leave（收養(yǎng)假，收養(yǎng)孩子的假期）。家庭生活是人們生活中很重要的一部分，保持work–life balance（工作生活平衡）有利于提高員工“幸福感”。一些公司設(shè)有paid family leave（探親假）鼓勵(lì)員工多花些時(shí)間與家人在一起。工作中常見的假期還有sick leave（病假）、annual leave（年假）、casual leave（事假）、marital leave（婚假）。

12.teachers' code of morality“師德”，即教師和一切教育工作者在從事教育活動(dòng)中必須遵守的code of ethics（道德規(guī)范）。在上面的新聞中，學(xué)生實(shí)名舉報(bào)張大同以physical examination（檢查身體）為由對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行molest（猥褻）。Code of morality是指“道德規(guī)范”，也叫moral code，常見的work ethic（職業(yè)道德）還有醫(yī)生須遵守的medical morality（醫(yī)德）。Code在這里表示“準(zhǔn)則、法規(guī)、行為規(guī)范等”，類似的用法還有traffic code（交通規(guī)則）、dress code（著裝要求）、sanitary code（衛(wèi)生法規(guī)）等。Code這個(gè)詞也可表示“代碼、密碼”，如超市商品上的bar code（條形碼）及撥打電話時(shí)撥的area code（區(qū)號(hào)）等。Code還可表示計(jì)算機(jī)中的編程“代碼”，如binary code（二進(jìn)制代碼）及order code（指令碼）等。

13.carry-on luggage“隨身攜帶行李”，即可隨身攜帶上飛機(jī)的行李，與之相對(duì)的是checked baggage（托運(yùn)行李）。此次hijack（劫機(jī)）事件后，很多地方都提高了security level（安檢級(jí)別），用explosive detector（爆炸物檢測(cè)器）對(duì)行李進(jìn)行檢測(cè)，廣州深圳等地機(jī)場(chǎng)甚至為去烏魯木齊的航班開設(shè)了exclusive channel of security checks（專用安檢通道）。為了盡量縮短安檢時(shí)間，在打包行李時(shí)，一定要注意是否意外攜帶了prohibited/forbidden items（違禁物品），并注意機(jī)場(chǎng)的liquids restriction（液體限制）。表示“行李”的意思時(shí)，luggage也能用baggage來(lái)代替，常見固定用法如下：航空公司規(guī)定的baggage allowance（免費(fèi)行李重量限額），超過重量限額的excess baggage（超重行李），下飛機(jī)后需要去baggage carousel（行李傳送帶）上領(lǐng)回托運(yùn)行李，領(lǐng)取行李的地方也叫baggage claim area。

不知是醉酒駕車撞死人的事件真的越來(lái)越多，還是“后胡斌飆車案”語(yǔ)境下媒體對(duì)此類案件報(bào)道增多，讓人產(chǎn)生這類事故越來(lái)越多的感覺。新近，杭州又發(fā)生了一起酒后駕車撞死人的悲劇。8月4日晚，魏某酒后駕駛保時(shí)捷越野車，撞死橫穿馬路的女子馬芳芳。

跟同城的胡斌案一樣，駕車者身份再次成為輿論關(guān)注焦點(diǎn)。媒體報(bào)道強(qiáng)調(diào)，今年29歲的魏某是杭州某公司的市場(chǎng)部經(jīng)理，車主系其父，也是該公司法人代表兼董事長(zhǎng)——新聞這樣交代并沒有問題，但我不喜歡某些媒體刻意在大標(biāo)題中強(qiáng)調(diào)“杭州保時(shí)捷撞死人案司機(jī)父親為董事長(zhǎng)”。像在胡斌案中刻意強(qiáng)調(diào)胡斌的富二代身份一樣，這是在迎合社會(huì)的某種情緒，渲染社會(huì)的斷裂，并營(yíng)造一種對(duì)抗的氛圍，把一場(chǎng)酒后駕車引發(fā)的交通事故，描述成一場(chǎng)貧富對(duì)抗、強(qiáng)弱對(duì)立、社會(huì)斷裂的標(biāo)志事件。這樣的渲染是很可怕的。在胡斌案中就表現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致，回想一下當(dāng)初某些媒體的標(biāo)題：富二代闊少飆車撞死大學(xué)生 ——這多么讓人血脈賁張，多么讓人憤怒，多么強(qiáng)烈地刺激著公眾本就脆弱而敏感的貧富神經(jīng)，在斑馬線上營(yíng)造了一種多么可怕的貧富對(duì)抗、強(qiáng)弱對(duì)立場(chǎng)景。可實(shí)際上，傷亡者譚卓早已畢業(yè)工作多年，而胡斌才是杭州某大學(xué)的在讀大學(xué)生。如果根據(jù)實(shí)際身份把這樣的描述轉(zhuǎn)換為“在讀大學(xué)生開車撞死公司白領(lǐng)”，輿論肯定又是另外一種反應(yīng)和情緒，可見這種身份標(biāo)簽的悖謬。

顯然，一些媒體之所以那樣描述，是迎合輿論中部分人對(duì)貧富差距的受害想象，在利用這種情緒進(jìn)行炒作?！昂贾荼r(shí)捷撞死人案司機(jī)父親為董事長(zhǎng)”也是如此，看似在陳述一個(gè)事實(shí)，實(shí)際是在刻意強(qiáng)化那種“富二代沒幾個(gè)好東西”、“富人為富不仁欺壓良民”的輿論偏見，傳播“醉酒駕車者都是富人”、“強(qiáng)者肆無(wú)忌憚欺凌弱者”的仇恨印象。

醉酒駕車的多是富家子弟，這其實(shí)是媒體對(duì)身份的選擇性強(qiáng)調(diào)營(yíng)造出的一種幻覺。據(jù)有關(guān)部門統(tǒng)計(jì)，近年來(lái)我國(guó)每年死于車禍的人數(shù)高達(dá)10萬(wàn)左右，其中相當(dāng)部分是“酒精”所致。中國(guó)每年由于酒后駕車而引發(fā)的交通事故多達(dá)數(shù)

萬(wàn)起，數(shù)以萬(wàn)計(jì)的家庭因?yàn)榻煌ㄊ鹿识щx破碎。另有數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，從1994年到xx年,全國(guó)因酒后駕車而導(dǎo)致的死亡人數(shù)平均每年以 7．3％的速度增長(zhǎng)——不知有些媒體有沒有深思過，每年數(shù)萬(wàn)起的酒后駕車案中有多少富人作的孽，多少是富二代飆車引致，多少是寶馬闖的禍？

不說遠(yuǎn)的，就說近來(lái)各地發(fā)生的幾起酒后或醉酒駕車撞死人的事故吧。成都那起醉酒駕車釀成4死1重傷的驚天血案，司機(jī)孫偉銘只是成都某技術(shù)公司一名普通員工，開的也不是名車。廣州中山一路“5·15”造成3人死亡的特大車禍，醉酒駕車的司機(jī)梁某是一個(gè)普通人。嘉興中院近來(lái)審理了一起案件，從安徽老家到嘉興打工的高某，酒后駕車撞死了自己的妻子??在這樣的案件中，媒體從來(lái)不會(huì)強(qiáng)調(diào)肇事者的身份，因?yàn)槟菢拥纳矸輿]有“新聞性”。而一旦是個(gè)富人或富二代，身份就會(huì)在新聞標(biāo)題中被強(qiáng)化，于是留下“富人名車草菅人命”的印象。毋庸諱言，公眾情感因?yàn)檫@樣對(duì)貧富身份的刻意渲染而進(jìn)一步被撕裂，正像在胡斌案中所顯現(xiàn)的那樣：既干擾了司法獨(dú)立，又撕裂了社會(huì)情感。很明顯，醉酒駕車并不是哪個(gè)階層的原罪，不是專屬哪個(gè)群體的罪惡標(biāo)簽，而是一種普遍性、平均分布的罪惡，人人都可能醉酒，人人都可能開車，人人醉酒開車都會(huì)危及交通安全。醉酒駕車只是一種醉酒者對(duì)法律的侵犯，對(duì)公共安全的危害，是醉酒駕車者與社會(huì)的矛盾，而不是富人與窮人的矛盾。公眾的敵人是肆意踐踏法律的醉酒駕車者，而不是富人，只不過有時(shí)碰巧是一個(gè)富二代而已。

確實(shí)，改革轉(zhuǎn)型期的中國(guó)，貧富差距拉大是一個(gè)現(xiàn)實(shí)，貧富對(duì)立導(dǎo)致的許多問題也客觀存在。但負(fù)責(zé)任的媒體應(yīng)報(bào)道真相，以客觀的輿論監(jiān)督消弭這種斷裂，理性地引導(dǎo)公眾情緒，而不是利用這種情緒進(jìn)行炒作，惟恐對(duì)富人的仇視情緒還不夠，為這種情緒推波助瀾火上澆油。評(píng)論者更要有一顆仁心，更要把尊重規(guī)則置于首位，獨(dú)立、客觀、理性地進(jìn)行判斷，而不是被怒氣沖沖、情緒化的輿論所引導(dǎo)，迎合那種非理性的情緒。貧富差距的問題需要我們共同去解決，而不是人為地渲染。

最后回到保時(shí)捷撞死人事件上來(lái)，需要輿論聚焦的是如何以嚴(yán)刑峻法遏制頻發(fā)的酒后駕車，嚴(yán)懲那些踐踏規(guī)則者，而不是在撞人者身份上炒作和起哄。這是公眾與醉駕者的對(duì)立，而不是窮人與富人的對(duì)立。渲染那種與事件無(wú)關(guān)的情緒，只會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)移對(duì)真問題的關(guān)注。假如火車丟鑰匙事件發(fā)生在烏魯木齊 盛大林 3日，載有526名乘客的d175次列車準(zhǔn)備從天津站出發(fā)時(shí)，司乘人員發(fā)現(xiàn)鑰匙丟失了。這列動(dòng)車是剛從沈陽(yáng)開到天津的，需要調(diào)頭再開回沈陽(yáng)，但在交接班后司機(jī)發(fā)現(xiàn)鑰匙不見了。列車通過廣播動(dòng)員車上乘客幫忙尋找，司乘人員也拿著手電筒逐個(gè)車廂搜尋，但都一無(wú)所獲。在滿車尋找鑰匙無(wú)果的情況下，只好通過京津城際從北京調(diào)來(lái)了備用鑰匙，列車在晚點(diǎn)了2個(gè)小時(shí)后才重新啟動(dòng)。（據(jù)8月4日《今晚

報(bào)》）剛剛交接完畢，鑰匙不翼而飛，竟然讓數(shù)百名乘客幫忙，最終不得不從北京送來(lái)備用鑰匙。想想當(dāng)時(shí)那全員行動(dòng)、地毯式搜尋鑰匙的場(chǎng)面，真讓人哭笑不得。慶幸的是，天津與北京遲尺之遙，鑰匙很快就送過來(lái)了——這不禁讓人聯(lián)想：要是“火車丟鑰匙”發(fā)生在距京數(shù)千里之外的烏魯木齊，如何是好呢？ 這是鐵路上近一個(gè)多月時(shí)間發(fā)生的至少第四起事故了。7月29日，一列火車在焦柳線上脫軌，造成5死50傷；7月27日，一列火車在蘭新線烏鞘嶺隧道內(nèi)起火，1700多名乘員徒步摸黑逃生；6月29日，兩列火車在湖南郴州站相撞，造成3死63傷。如果把去年4月發(fā)生在膠濟(jì)鐵路上的列車相接事件，鐵路上的安全事故更加觸目驚心。也許有人認(rèn)為，不能把“火車丟鑰匙”與上述幾起事故相提并論，因?yàn)槟菐灼鸲紝?dǎo)致了人員死傷等非常嚴(yán)重的后果，而丟鑰匙只是讓火車晚點(diǎn)了兩個(gè)小時(shí)而已。單從后果來(lái)看，情況確實(shí)如此；但就起因而論，卻是禍出一源。膠濟(jì)線的相撞主要是超速引起的，郴州站的相撞是“人為疏忽”引起的，焦柳線“山體滑坡掩埋鐵路”導(dǎo)致脫軌的深層原因還是相關(guān)的應(yīng)急機(jī)制不健全，而蘭新線起火事件至今無(wú)調(diào)查結(jié)果本身就能反應(yīng)出一些問題??說到底，這些事故的發(fā)生都與“管理混亂”存在一定的關(guān)系——而交接中丟鑰匙不也是“管理混亂”的表現(xiàn)嗎？ 每一次事故發(fā)生后，鐵道部門都表示，要查擺原因、總結(jié)教訓(xùn)、避免類似事件再次發(fā)生。然而，人們看到的事實(shí)是，安全事故不斷沒有減少，甚至有不斷增多的趨勢(shì)；與此同時(shí)，以前因重大事故而被免職的干部紛紛易地“復(fù)出”甚至得到提撥。具有諷刺意味的是，就
