Send a customized cover letter with each resume you send out.每次發(fā)送簡歷都要加上一封定制的求職信。

Your cover letter may make the difference between obtaining a job interview and having your resume ignored.Even if an employer doesn’t request a cover letter, it’s helpful to send one.求職信將決定你是能得到面試機會還是讓你的簡歷被石沉大海。即使雇主沒有要求求職信，附上一封也會有所幫助的。

Target your cover letter.有的放矢地制作求職信。

Take the job posting and list the criteria the employer is looking for.Then list the skills and experience you have.Either address how your skills match the job in paragraph form or list the criteria and your qualifications.將招聘廣告上雇主想要招聘的職位和要求的相關(guān)技能列成一張清單。然后將你的經(jīng)驗和技能在另外一張清單上列出來。挑選一兩點，分段闡述你的技能是如何符合該公司的職位要求的，或用一張清單來對比列出公司的標準和你的條件。

Write simply and clearly.書寫簡單明了。

Get right to the point and write short, targeted letters.Each letter should be one page, or less.Each paragraph should contain three or four sentences, at most.寫求職信時要迅速切入重點，簡明、并具有針對性。每封信長度都不應(yīng)該超過一頁。每段最多包括三到四句話。

Personalize your letter.寄給特定的人。
