Dear Editor,I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have recently had about whether we should know our parents’ income. We do have different opinions on this matter. Most of us think we should know our parents’ income since it will help us understand how hard our parents have to work, no matter how much they earn. Then we will study harder and harder and will not waste money any more.We may also learn to share our parents’ trouble.About 30% of my classmates think it unnecessary to let the children know how much their parents earn.If they know their parents have enough money to support the family, they will not study hard since they needn’t worry about the future. It is said especially when their parents have a higher income, the children will easily form a wasteful habit.Yours sincerely,Li Hua

Dear Tom,How is everything going?
I’m writing to share with you my unforgettable experience of sports meeting held last month. Before the meeting, my teacher and classmates made a detailed plan.We were all very excited to give advice and provide anything needed. At the same time, the athletes made full preparations, running and jumping in their spare time.During the meeting, the athletes competed fairly in the playground with the other students cheering around. What a great time!
I think our class has become more united after the sports meeting. In addition, the classmates know more about each other and become closer. As a result, we are more hopeful of the colorful school life.I would appreciate it if you could reply soon.Truly yours,Li Hua

One possible version:
Most of us have no access to playing a vitally important role in the world, but we can contribute to the world by doing small things with great love.Six years ago, when the terrible earthquake struck Wenchuan, not being able to go there and offer my help personally, I felt so regretful that I couldn’t resist complaining to my parents.Listening to me with great attention, my father recommended me to do something within my power. Then I joined the city’s volunteers to help pack up the relief, which I felt boring initially. But then I realized without our seemingly unimportant efforts, things couldn’t work out so smoothly.I began to devote myself heart and soul to my work, which in turn filled me with pride and contentment.
