約翰·庫緹斯

天生的殘疾注定約翰·庫緹斯從小要經(jīng)受很多常人難以想像磨難。9歲的時候，約翰·庫緹斯上學(xué)了，但他被同學(xué)當(dāng)成了“怪物”，受盡了嘲笑和惡意的捉弄。他天生倔強，雖然肢體殘疾，但仍堅持到一所健康孩子的小學(xué)里讀書，但那時調(diào)皮的孩子把約翰當(dāng)成怪物，經(jīng)常追得他亂跑。9歲的一天，淘氣的學(xué)生竟然把他綁起來，用膠布封上嘴，扔到垃圾桶里，然后點上火,差點被活活燒死。一股濃煙彌漫開來，周圍都是垃圾燒著的聲音，約翰拼命扭動才幸免遇難。他曾被人吊在轉(zhuǎn)動的風(fēng)扇下；他的同學(xué)還惡作劇地在他要走的路上撒滿圖釘，使他雙手鮮血淋漓??

15歲那年，他去參加考試，為了答題姿勢舒服一些，他把兩條腿“像青蛙一樣”蹺在后邊，可是等考完出來后才發(fā)現(xiàn)，兩條毫無知覺的腿上被同學(xué)用鉛筆刀割出了一道道血口子，上面還插著針、鉛筆，三個腳指頭被割斷，15歲的約翰黯然爬開，身后留下了一條血路。1000次摔倒，可以1001次地站起來

正常人總把現(xiàn)有的一切想得理所當(dāng)然，不珍惜手中所有，卻追逐自己所無的。有很多人也許會抱怨自己的頭發(fā)顏色、長短、發(fā)質(zhì)，約翰說，到癌癥病房看看你就會打掉自己的念頭，幾年前的癌癥經(jīng)歷讓約翰經(jīng)歷了化療，也看夠了化療之后頭發(fā)完全脫落的情景?！坝肋h(yuǎn)別抱怨，”約翰對大家說。

在高考復(fù)習(xí)備考的關(guān)鍵階段，2015年3月6日，我校邀請著名青年勵志演說家孫鶴芝老師為高三全體學(xué)生做“激情追夢、贏在高考”的勵志演講，為全力備考的高三學(xué)生減輕高考壓力，增強學(xué)習(xí)動力。熊勇校長在演講活動上致辭。

春光燦然萬物爭榮，下午三點，在我校操場，孫鶴芝老師的勵志演講讓我校園處處充滿激情與熱度。演講中，孫鶴芝老師把理論和故事相結(jié)合，通過師生互動等方式，深入淺出地為全體師生剖析了“采取行動才能成功，要快速成功，就要爭取快速行動”、“心態(tài)決定狀態(tài)，”等眾多道理。一個個發(fā)人深省的小故事令學(xué)生如沐春風(fēng)，一句句激情感人的勵志名言激發(fā)了學(xué)生的潛力，振奮了學(xué)生的精神，點燃了學(xué)生的希望?；雍蛥⑴c讓勵志演講高潮迭起，同學(xué)們走上演講臺大聲說出理想共同分享夢想，臺下陣陣喝彩。學(xué)生們正認(rèn)真的聆聽孫老師的演講 整個演講活動持續(xù)了兩個多小時，在孫老師的感召下，許多學(xué)生走上演講臺大聲說出理想，真誠分享感恩，心靈受到了極大的觸動和啟迪。最后，在全體高三學(xué)生熱血沸騰的宣誓中結(jié)束了本次活動。
