這節(jié)課以閱讀教學(xué)為主。對于六年級學(xué)生來說，傳統(tǒng)的閱讀教學(xué)是比較枯燥乏味的。教師改變教學(xué)方式，以分組閱讀討論的方式開展短文閱讀，并鼓勵學(xué)生用簡短的話概括大意，這樣，學(xué)生在討論、概括、匯報中能反復(fù)閱讀短文，基本理清短文內(nèi)容。另外幾個小組同時展開討論可以形成一種競賽形式的閱讀，有利于激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀動力，提高團(tuán)隊合作能力和學(xué)習(xí)效率。在真實生活場景中，學(xué)生處處需要表達(dá)自己所想所感，讓學(xué)生說一說自己做過的夢給了學(xué)生自由表達(dá)的機(jī)會，做到了讓學(xué)生自己主動開口，表達(dá)自己所想。

本課時以故事教學(xué)為主，在其基礎(chǔ)上滲透環(huán)境保護(hù)教育。這兩者都很重要，在教學(xué)中不能強(qiáng)塞硬灌，否則學(xué)生容易產(chǎn)生厭煩感。加上本課時圖片解說內(nèi)容較多，教學(xué)有一定難度，采用分組討論，學(xué)生自主解決難點的方式進(jìn)行教學(xué)，一方面分散難點，另一方面學(xué)生能有針對性地去了解某一方面的情況和知識，學(xué)生印象深刻，更具有教育意義和啟發(fā)性。
