(2)實(shí)際承運(yùn)人(ACTUAL CARRIER)

掌握運(yùn)輸工具并參與集裝箱運(yùn)輸?shù)某羞\(yùn)人.通常擁有大量集裝箱,以利于集裝箱的周轉(zhuǎn),調(diào)撥,管理以及集裝箱與車船機(jī)的銜接。

(3)集裝箱租賃公司(CONTAINER LEASING COMPANY)

專門經(jīng)營(yíng)集裝箱出租業(yè)務(wù)的新行業(yè)。

(4)集裝箱堆場(chǎng)(CONTAINER YARD:CY)

指辦理集裝箱重箱或空箱裝卸,轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn),保管,交接的場(chǎng)所。

集裝箱內(nèi)尺寸（container’s internal dimensions）

集裝箱內(nèi)部的最大長(zhǎng)、寬、高尺寸。高度為箱底板面至箱頂板最下面的距離，寬度為兩內(nèi)側(cè)襯板之間的距離，長(zhǎng)度為箱門內(nèi)側(cè)板量至端壁內(nèi)襯板之間的距離。它決定集裝箱內(nèi)容積和箱內(nèi)貨物的最大尺寸。

集裝箱貨運(yùn)站（container freight station 簡(jiǎn)稱：CFS）

為拼箱貨裝箱和拆箱的船、貨雙方辦理交接的場(chǎng)所。承運(yùn)人在一個(gè)港口或內(nèi)陸城市只能委托一個(gè)集裝箱貨運(yùn)站的經(jīng)營(yíng)者。由它代表承運(yùn)人辦理下列主要業(yè)務(wù)：

（1）拼箱貨的理貨和交接。

（2）對(duì)貨物外表檢驗(yàn)如有異狀時(shí)，就辦理批注。

（3）拼箱貨的配箱積載和裝箱。

（4）進(jìn)口拆箱貨的拆箱和保管。

（5）代承運(yùn)人加鉛封并簽發(fā)站收據(jù)。

（6）辦理各項(xiàng)單證和編制等。

托運(yùn)人責(zé)任（shipper’s liabilities）

托運(yùn)人在集裝箱運(yùn)輸中應(yīng)有的責(zé)任。這種責(zé)任是不同于傳統(tǒng)海運(yùn)方面的。拼箱貨托運(yùn)人的責(zé)任與傳統(tǒng)海運(yùn)相同。整箱貨托運(yùn)人的責(zé)任不于傳統(tǒng)運(yùn)輸?shù)挠校?/p>

（1）應(yīng)保證所報(bào)貨運(yùn)資料的正確和完整。

（2）承運(yùn)人有權(quán)核對(duì)箱內(nèi)所裝貨物，因核對(duì)而發(fā)生的費(fèi)用，有托運(yùn)人承擔(dān)。

（3）海關(guān)或其他權(quán)力機(jī)關(guān)開箱檢查，其費(fèi)用和由此發(fā)生貨損貨差，由托運(yùn)人承擔(dān)。

（4）如集裝箱貨不滿，或是墊襯不良，積載不當(dāng)，或是裝了不適于集裝箱運(yùn)輸?shù)呢浳?，因而引起貨損、貨差，概由托運(yùn)人負(fù)責(zé)。

（5）如使用了托運(yùn)人自有的不適航的集裝箱，所引起的貨損事故，應(yīng)由托運(yùn)人負(fù)責(zé)。

（6）在使用承運(yùn)人集裝箱及設(shè)備其間造成第三者財(cái)產(chǎn)或生命的損害，應(yīng)由托運(yùn)人負(fù)責(zé)賠償。

責(zé)任限制（limits of liability）

集裝箱運(yùn)輸中發(fā)生貨損貨差，承運(yùn)人應(yīng)承擔(dān)的最高賠償額。拼箱貨的責(zé)任限制與傳統(tǒng)運(yùn)輸相同。整箱貨的賠償按照目前國(guó)際上的一些判例，如果提單上沒有列明箱內(nèi)所裝貨物的件數(shù)，每箱作為一個(gè)理賠計(jì)算單位。如提單上列明箱內(nèi)載貨件數(shù)的，仍按件數(shù)計(jì)算。如果貨物的損壞和滅失，不屬海運(yùn)，而是在內(nèi)陸運(yùn)輸中發(fā)生的，則按陸上運(yùn)輸最高賠償額辦理。如集裝箱是由托運(yùn)人所有或提供時(shí)，遇有滅失或損壞，其責(zé)任確屬承運(yùn)人應(yīng)承擔(dān)者，亦應(yīng)視作一個(gè)理賠計(jì)算單位。

集裝箱（container）

具有一定強(qiáng)度、剛度和規(guī)格專供周轉(zhuǎn)使用的大型裝貨容器。使用集裝箱轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)貨物，可直接在發(fā)貨人的倉(cāng)庫(kù)裝貨，運(yùn)到收貨人的倉(cāng)庫(kù)卸貨，中途更換車、船時(shí)，無須將貨物從箱內(nèi)取出換裝。按所裝貨物種類分，有雜貨集裝箱、散貨集裝箱、液體貨集裝箱、冷藏箱集裝箱等；按制造材料分，有木集裝箱、鋼集裝箱、鋁合金集裝箱、玻璃鋼集裝箱、不銹鋼集裝箱等；按結(jié)構(gòu)分，有折疊式集裝箱、固定式集裝箱等，在固定式集裝箱中還可分密閉集裝箱、開頂集裝箱、板架集裝箱等；按總重分，有30噸集裝箱、20噸集裝箱、10噸集裝箱、5噸集裝箱、2.5噸集裝箱等。

集裝箱計(jì)算單位（twenty-feet equivalent units 簡(jiǎn)稱：TEU）

又稱20英尺換算單位。計(jì)算集裝箱箱數(shù)的換算單位。目前各國(guó)大部分集裝箱運(yùn)輸，都采用20英尺40英尺長(zhǎng)的兩種集裝箱。為使集裝箱箱數(shù)計(jì)算統(tǒng)一化，把20英尺集裝箱作為一個(gè)計(jì)算單位。40尺集裝箱作為兩個(gè)計(jì)算單位，以利統(tǒng)一計(jì)算集裝箱的營(yíng)運(yùn)量。

集裝箱（又稱貨柜）的種類：

1、格尺寸分：目前，國(guó)際上通常使用的干貨柜(DRYCONTAINER)有：
