整體來看，2013年山東卷作文難度不大，沿襲了山東卷提綱類書信體作文的傳統(tǒng)，題干依然保持“字?jǐn)?shù)雖少，但信息量不小”的特點，寫作試題的考察上體現(xiàn)了命題人穩(wěn)中求變和創(chuàng)新的原則。

2013年山東卷考察的書信類型，而為了考察考生審題能力，命題人并沒有把如“感謝”、“道歉”、“建議”、“申請”等明顯的字眼放在題中，而是通過考察學(xué)生對題干的審題能力暗示學(xué)生此書信體作文應(yīng)大體包含道歉和告知兩個方面。因此文章的主干部分要先表示歉意、解釋原因，后寫假期的打算。
