初中英語課例分析(圣誕節(jié))
一、課文簡介:
本課題目是“圣誕節(jié)”,是一篇閱讀文章。本課圍繞慶賀節(jié)日的話題展開各項語言活動,其主要交際功能項目為圣誕節(jié)和新年的節(jié)日問候。英語新課程標準中要求學生掌握的表達祝愿及問答的日常用語大部分在本課都有所體現。本課介紹了西方國家慶祝圣誕活動、圣誕老人的故事以及基督精神。學生通過學習,掌握有關圣誕節(jié)的詞匯,了解西方國家的“圣誕文化”,加深對基督精神的理解,并能向別人介紹圣誕節(jié)。
二、學生分析:
初三學生經過兩年的初中英語學習,有了初步的閱讀能力,能借助于詞典正確理解課文,慶祝圣誕情況也略知一二。他們也有能力通過網絡查詢有關信息。此階段的學生還具有較強的“自我”發(fā)展意識,對具有一定知識性及歷史背景的語言材料表現出濃厚的興趣。
三、教學目標及對應的課程標準: 1.語言知識目標:
學生能夠根據音標正確讀出、記住kind-hearted等14個單詞,了解它們的詞性、語法功能及體現于詞匯中特殊的文化含義;掌握even though等15個詞組的用法,會使用這些詞匯描述圣誕節(jié)慶祝活動,會正確使用近義詞。2.語言技能目標:
聽:能聽懂本課錄音,并回答有關問題。說:能正確描述有關圣誕活動。
讀:能讀懂難易程度與課文相當的短文。寫:能以圣誕為題寫一篇100字的短文。3.情感態(tài)度目標:
具有積極向上的學習態(tài)度,樂于進行小組合作,不懂不會之處,主動尋求幫助,積極舉手回答問題,積極探究問題,不斷提高學習英語的積極性和自信心。4.學習策略:
積極預習,復習課文,思考問題,記好筆記,在學習中大膽聯想,學會運用知識。大膽與同學用英語交流,積極思考問題,掌握重點難點,學會運用速讀、細讀技巧閱讀文章。學會正確運用詞匯描述事物,熟悉西方主要節(jié)日的慶典活動。積極利用媒體、資料、網絡資源輔助學習,探討問題,開拓視野,拓寬知識面。5.文化意識:
“圣誕”是西方文化的奠基。了解“圣誕”有助于學好英語并理解西方文化。通過本課的學習,學生了解西方文化及基督精神,讓“It’s better to give than to receive.”溶入學生的思想中,并在提高語言能力和交際能力的同時,提高跨文化交際能力。
四、教學重點: 1.詞匯:

too前加not, never,表示肯定,例:You are never too old to learn.六、教學理念: 英語新課程標準提出“將學生的發(fā)展作為英語課程的出發(fā)點和歸宿”,制定了“知識與技能、過程與方法、情感與價值觀三位一體”的課程功能,旨在幫助學生掌握學習英語的方法,培養(yǎng)他們終身學習的能力,這充分體現了“以人為本”的教育理念。英語教學應創(chuàng)設一種互動的、開放創(chuàng)新的教學關系。教師不僅僅是傳授語言知識,而是學生語言技能的培養(yǎng)者,個性發(fā)展的輔助者,學習的指導者。師生共享信息,共同欣賞文章,共同了解異國文化,彼此交流感受與觀念,實現教學互長,共同發(fā)展。在教學中,教師要關注學生的情感態(tài)度,要激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣及探究精神,要幫助學生形成有效的學習方法,關注學生的個體差異,幫助學生構建積極向上的健康的文化知識。
七、教學方式: 采用個人閱讀、小組討論、回答問題尋找難點、討論解決、教師補充講解的方法。學生在教學過程中始終處于主體地位,是學習的參與者,通過感知、體驗、實踐、參與與合作實現任務目標;教師是協助者、調控者。教師在教學過程中注意觀察學生的表現,是否積極學習,積極參加小組討論,積極舉手發(fā)言,參與語言活動。對于積極的學生給予表揚與鼓勵,對于性格內向的學生也要為他們創(chuàng)造練習的機會,鼓勵他們大膽參與語言實踐。

為使課堂教學生動活潑,需采用多媒體制作課件,包括圖片、重點詞組、難點講解和鞏固練習。

通過學生自己上網查閱資料,培養(yǎng)了科研精神,激發(fā)了學生的興趣。課前展示預習滿足了學生的展現自我能力的。本課的設計主線以Christmas為中心。課堂上通過師生共同活動,對圣誕節(jié)賞識的提問和學生對圣誕老人圖片的描述以及歸納總結與圣誕節(jié)相關的詞語,使學生對圣誕節(jié)常識有了更進一步的了解。學生小組討論問題及難點,形成互助互動的學習環(huán)境,增加了口語練習機會。學生主動參與,大腦處于積極活躍狀態(tài),對于接受新知識大有好處。難點講解之后,配以同義句填空練習,使師生得以及時了解自己的教學情況,鞏固所學知識,各種形式的圣誕,為學生提供了鞏固所學知識、發(fā)展語言技能的平臺,使所學語言活起來,學生從書本走進現實生活中,在日常交往中有效地進行表達。另外,補充材料使學生增加了閱讀興趣,拓寬了知識面,加深了對基督精神和西方文化的理解。

一、原始課例
回顧我們一年多的教學實踐,又認真觀摩了多節(jié)新教材的研討課,我們發(fā)現雖然使用了新教材,但在Speaking教學過程中仍受傳統模式的干擾。導致學生在“說”課堂上動口,動腦意識不強。那么教師如何設計 “Speaking”的教學,使得課堂氣氛活躍,讓學生真正成為教學主體,在教學過程中確確實實地“動”起來就成為我們研究的主要內容?;顒觾热? 通過本模塊的學習,學生可以學會表達自己的感覺和印象。
話題背景:本模塊以感覺與印象為話題, 內容主要是談論對食物等的感覺、評論以及對人的印象等。了解表感覺和知覺的系動詞的用法;了解英國女孩 Sally的情感態(tài)度和喜好,很符合學生的興趣,語言實踐活動比較好開展。學生可以圍繞這一話題進行大量的聽、說、讀、寫方面的語言實踐活動。閱讀的重點在于理解,在此基礎上學會一些描述人長相和性格的表達方式,包括句式和一些形容詞。
教學目的:通過談論感覺與印象訓練學生的聽、說、讀、寫能力,掌握使用表感覺和知覺 系動詞和系表結構,養(yǎng)成正確表達感覺與印象的能力。
教學重點:1.能正確使用表感覺和知覺的系動詞:sound, smell, look, taste, feel;掌握句子的系表結構:link verb+adj.2.能夠對食物的味道、人的印象等進行評論。教學難點:

二、活動設計
活動1:Describe things 說明:先選一位同學為主持人,描述出某一物體的特征,其他同學猜。猜正確的那位同學就是下一場比賽的主持人。
活動2:Message collection 說明:四人小組活動。第一個同學先想出一樣描述的物品,然后用一句話描述出來,第二個同學先重復第一個同學的話,接著再說一句。依次類推。
活動3:挑戰(zhàn)解說員
說明:課前教師先準備好寫有各種物體名稱的小卡片若干,由一位同學上臺隨機抽選卡片,并將卡片上所寫物體用It looks/ sounds/ smells/ tastes/ feels…等描述出來,若其他同學能猜出這樣物品則為挑戰(zhàn)成功,否則挑戰(zhàn)失敗。

說明:由一位同學描述其他同學的外貌特征或性格特征,其他同學找出所描述的是誰。

一、本節(jié)課整體教學良好,教學步驟清晰,教學環(huán)節(jié)銜接自然,課堂組織好,能充分調動學生的積極性,激發(fā)學生討論的興趣。師生互動,體現了以學生為主體,教師為主導的新的教學理念,但在課堂活動順序的安排上有不足之處,應先讓學生熟悉話題內容及各自角色,在進行討論,完成句子最后編出自己的對話。

二、學生討論的話題和焦點不明確,設計的話題范圍過大,課堂看似熱鬧,但收效甚微,這樣的討論浮于語言文字的表達,學生缺少對內容內涵的深入挖掘。教師僅是設了融洽的課堂氣氛,沒有更好的引導學生發(fā)揮想象力,設計出真實的情景對話。
評課
三、討論激烈,但各小組匯報的主要觀點極為相似。這些雷同或重復的報告既浪費了大量的課堂時間,又缺乏創(chuàng)造性和新穎性,從而使學生對討論漸漸失去了興趣。小組內的學生基本上都能參與討論,但小組活動中又出現了英語學習的“強者”挖掘著大部分話語的現象。討論時老是那幾組講,其他學生僅僅聽。
評課
四、本節(jié)課教學設計很好,教學構思新穎,嚴謹,教學組織嚴密,思路清晰,話題明確,能夠充分調動學生的積極性,激發(fā)學生討論的興趣。本節(jié)課真正體現了以學生為主體、老師為主導的新的教學理念。但是,從學生做的對話我們能夠發(fā)現,學生都是千篇一律,給出的原因沒有新穎之處,且好些學生還是做不出來,沒有話可說。

五、本節(jié)課教學整體情況良好,分組討論激發(fā)了學生的學習興趣,體現了教學以學生為體的教學內容。使每個學生都能積極的參與到教學活動中。但是課文中一些角色對于我們北方學生比較陌生(Rice farmer, Sugarcane farmer)所以我們可以結合我們的情況如(Vegetable farmer, Fruit farmer)一些我們學生比較熟悉的話題??赡芨思ぐl(fā)學生的興趣。同時結合Warming-up中的內容和我們Unit13 Healthy Eating的內容我們可知人們的飲食習慣發(fā)生了巨大的變化。給出學生提示。所以農民也是根據市場變化來科學、經濟種田。給出學生這些提示。然后讓學生根據這些情況討論。進行比賽。

六、本節(jié)課談論的話題“耕地的使用”,學生們都比較熟悉,因為他們都生長在農村,對于這個話題, 他們都有熱情,應該盡量讓每個學生都發(fā)言,作為老師,同時應該把學生可能使用的單詞和詞組寫在黑板上,便于學生利用,提高學生的口語水平.評課
七、本節(jié)課雖然討論熱烈,但缺少教師的指導及情景介紹,容易使學生的即興發(fā)言變成沒有深度與內涵的語言表述.我還發(fā)現,這樣的討論看似熱烈,卻體現不出學生之間思想火花的碰撞或語言水平的長進,即使對于學習好的學生,教師也應該履行好其管理者與資源提供者的職責,并隨時關注討論活動的進展,適時反思并進行教學.評課
八、教師在課堂上的主要任務之一就是幫助學生從依賴性學習轉向自主性學習.但是,我們不能片面的追求學生在討論過程中的完全自主,有些學生在小組討論時常用母語交流;有些小組把討論變成了閑聊;有些學生討論時態(tài)度不積極.所以,本節(jié)課的討論活動從
表面上看似乎充分體現了學生的主體地位,但實際上經過一節(jié)課的討論,學生并沒有任何提高.指導教師點評:
點評
一、本節(jié)課的教學內容是speaking,它屬于任務型的課堂教學。這節(jié)課突出了教學重點,也突破了教學難點,難能可貴的是課堂組織好,能充分調動學生的積極性,使大部分學生都能參與進來,有張口說話的機會,這是大班額背景下課堂教學的好表現,也體現了以學生為主體,教師為主導的新的教學理念,較順利地完成了教學任務,這一點應在以后的教學中堅持下去。這節(jié)課也有一些不足之處,主要有以下三點:1.教學思路不夠清晰,教學過程的步驟順序安排不當,先讓學生熟悉話題內容及各自角色,然后填充句子空白,再進行討論,最后編出自己的對話。2.在學生的對話表演中,學生對Useful expressions的使用不是很好,因此,要讓學生先熟悉Useful expressions, 再進行討論。3.沒能讓大量學生進行課堂表演,這樣可能會使一些懶于開口的學生養(yǎng)成長期不發(fā)言的習慣。
點評二、一節(jié)課應該使學生學有所獲,而不是亂喊一堂。這節(jié)課的目的是讓學生通過討論學會對提出建議和做出決定的一些英語表達用語的使用,所以,在每個學生的發(fā)言中都應該盡多的使用本課這些詞語,這樣,我們就做到了既訓練了學生的口語,又能使課堂重點突出。我建議先組織學生學習Useful expressions,再提出討論內容,讓學生編對話。
四、反思,總結:
學生積極參與話題討論,在表達自己觀點的活動中運用了所學語言,從而取得了較好的教學效果。經過課后反思,筆者認為該活動取得成功的主要原因是:
1)結合學生所學的內容,以發(fā)生在學生周圍的一段與現實生活緊密相連的時事為背景材料為話題導課,容易激發(fā)學生的興趣。
2)分角色進行討論,各自表達不同的觀點,聽取其他人的建議,體現了全員參與的理念。3)采取這種話題討論的方式,有利于學生學會發(fā)表自己的看法并聽別人的意見,也有利于培養(yǎng)學生的發(fā)散性思維能力。
4)重視過程性和開放性的討論,關注學生的實際學習效果。筆者實施小組合作討論學習雖然不到一年時間,但也深刻體會到:課堂觀察是無止境的,應貫穿于教學活動的始終。教師應用敏銳的職業(yè)眼光,捕捉課堂中的各種現象,不斷反思自己的教學行為。成功的教學案例是寶貴的,而不成功的教學案例也值得珍視與斟酌。只有這樣,教師才能在較高水準下更好的運用小組討論的教學模式。

1.目標明確,重、難點把握準確,知識主線提煉精確。
2.教學設計體現了“聽說課”的教學模式,從復習熱身、感知體驗、強化鞏固到語言應用,設計的思路清晰,步驟明確,體現了“層層遞進”的教學原則。
3.設計的流程遵循了學生的認知規(guī)律,由感知體驗到語言應用,注重了知識獲取,能力形成的學習過程。
4.能夠突出學生的主體地位,面向全體,每個學生有任務,且每個學生都有展示的機會。
5.通過小組間的合作,引導學生進行自主、探究學習,敢于質疑,善于解惑,學會總結,大膽評價。
6.教學效果良好,學生參與面廣,參與機會多,參與的積極性高漲,興趣濃,知識與能力、過程與方法、情感態(tài)度價值觀得到了很好的落實。
縱觀本節(jié)課,教師對教材的把握老道,教學目標定位準確;教學環(huán)節(jié)設計絲絲入扣、層層推進;聽說讀寫訓練全面、透徹;教師教學方式靈活多樣,既活潑,又實用;教學活動設計面向全體學生,學生積極主動參與,主動發(fā)展。教師的教學風格已形成鮮明的特點:口頭訓練領先、讀寫及時跟進的原則貫穿始終。
建議:
1、教師再多增加一些讓學生展示的機會,以便進一步增強學生的自信心、提高其積極性,進而獲得成就感;
2、教師應進一步錘煉自己的課堂語言,從而使課堂教學可以更加流暢地進行。復習課課堂教學實錄
在本節(jié)初三復習課上,該教師的課堂教學活動不再拘泥于對詞語和課文的理解、背誦,而是把大量的時間花在對所學知識的運用上,用本單元的詞、短語、句式等進行口、筆頭造句和作文。采用的形式也豐富多樣。從聽、說、讀、寫等方面進行全方位的訓練與提高。因此學生的綜合語言運用能力得以提升。由于給學生提供了很多口頭表達、對話交流的場景,這對學生的心理素質、表達的膽量、趣味的提升、成就感自信心的形成大有裨益。但本節(jié)課仍有極少部分同學處于“靜觀其變、不以為然、不為所動”的狀態(tài),似乎教學中熱烈的語言交融與己無關。因此,教師在組織課堂教學活動中還要多關注這些英語學習中的“弱勢群體”,做到個個能張口,人人能表達,真正實現面向全體,人盡其能的民主和諧、活潑緊張的創(chuàng)新課堂。

桑干家老師的這一堂課是一堂清晰實在,扎實系統,動靜結合的英語課。教師以新的課程理念為指導,充分考慮了學生這一年齡階段的特點,在本課的教學設計和組織上注重了以下幾個方面。
1、游戲導入,充分調動起學生興趣。良好的開頭對一堂課的成功與否,起著關鍵的作用。本堂課一開始,教師就用tpr活動導入新課,使學生的注意力在最短的時間里,被激活。接著教師利用游戲引出新詞教學,自然有效。
2、關注教學方法,體現了一個活字。
教師的教學方法靈活,新單詞呈現形式多樣。應該說整堂課中,教師在引入新詞時,都是比較新穎而又自然,而且具有生活化的。教師還注意利用實物,圖片,卡片,身體語言,表情動作等作為教學資源,創(chuàng)設講解,操練和運用英語的情景。桑老師能貫徹以學生為中心的原則,關注教學過程,盡可能發(fā)揮學生的主體作用,讓學生真實的去感受知識,體驗知識,積極參與,努力實踐,在活動中學會用語言表達交流,較好的體現了從不懂到懂,從不會到會,從不熟練到熟練的過程。
3、教學活動的設計豐富多彩,有效,訓練方式多樣,有全班活動,師生互動,小組活動,雙人活動,個人活動等,在活動中突破難點,在活動中發(fā)展能力。
教師為了鞏固本課的內容,精心設計了多個活動:有歌曲,謎語,游戲,內容非常豐富不但使單詞、句型的操練面廣,練習次數多,而且還調動了每一個學生的參與熱情。將熱鬧的形式與有效的語言實踐有機結合。
在英語課中,活動的設計和開展還應該有利于學生學習英語知識,發(fā)展語言技能,從而提高學生的綜合運用語言的能力。英語課堂的活動應該以語言運用為落腳點,本堂課上,桑老師很好的貫徹了:在用中學,學中用,學用結合,學以致用的原則。同時體現了以學生為主體,教師為主導的新課程理念。在這樣的一個學習過程中,學習者處于相對自然的態(tài)勢,不斷的在習得和使用語言,學和用每分每秒都和諧的交織在一起。
本課中值得探討的地方:
1、本堂課中,老師在布置任務前或句型操練前,未能起到很好的示范作用,導致學生操練時場面有些混亂。
2、教師語言不是很豐富。其實這也是我們較多老師的一個毛病。我們說當我們老師有足夠多的input(輸入)的時候,學生才能有output(輸入)。這可能就需要我們老師平時多多進行閱讀,豐富自己的課外知識。

李潔晶:劉老師上的是一堂引入課。通過從網上下載的錄像,引出課題“水”,非常好。然后再到水的特征,水的循環(huán),都挺好。但是最后一個討論好像為時過早。這堂課的重點水的特征和水的循環(huán)可以再進行操練。
孫漢創(chuàng):劉老師的課條理比較清楚,但是重點的內容還應加以鞏固,操練。課題:Water 評課:

教學目標與教學內容方面,吳老師通過對課標、教材以及學情的認真分析確定了本課的三維目標。教學目標完整、準確且科學性強。在讀前,老師用PPT展示圖片(即4個身材勻稱,笑容燦爛的明星)并詢問學生這些明星是否Looking Good.學生豪不猶豫的給出了肯定的回答,但其實他們已經暴露了大眾“以瘦為美”的審美偏差。當然此時老師并沒有指明這種偏差。而是繼續(xù)深入,從“人為什么會變胖?”和“如何減肥”方面啟發(fā)學生進行討論。此時,學生已經能大致了解到本堂課的主題。但并沒有發(fā)現老師已經在為后面揭示正確的審美觀及健康觀做了鋪墊。單是一個導入,已經能夠看出老師設計的縝密心思。到了讀中,老師啟發(fā)學生猜測題意,知道學法。第一封E-mail從指導讀法,到引導歸納填表,再到幫助學生復述。期間通過結構式PPT圖片設計拉出知識層次,幫助學生大膽開口表達,樹立信心。第二篇E-mail采用精讀教學,著重細節(jié)閱讀,從更細的方面進行歸納總結,提升對學生能力的要求。第三篇E-mail采用問答法,通過老師提問推動閱讀。此時學生回答已經不再有任何幫助,他們必須通過閱讀前兩篇E-mail學到的方法組織自己的語言進行回答。能力要求再次拔高,學生進行口頭作文的訓練。三篇閱讀完成后,老師用練習進行鞏固,題型直指高考,實用性強。最后,老師的教學由書本回歸生活,再次展示一組與“讀前”的“身材勻稱,笑容燦爛”的明星完全不同的“身材肥胖,但笑容依然燦爛”的明星。首尾呼應,揭示“Feeling Good”比 “Looking Good”更重要的主題。學生的審美觀和健康觀在此時得到了升華。由此這堂課達到高潮,可謂非常精彩。

An American tourist said:“ China has a long history of 5,000 years, but the US just has a history of 200 years. 5,000 years ago, China took the first lead in the world, but now it is the US that is leading. ”My heart was deeply touched by these words. Yes it is true that we are still a developing nation, but it does not mean we can despise ourselves.
