應聘簡歷可能是你進行自我推銷的最重要文件,它將在很大程度上決定你是否可以被邀請參加面試。很多HR專家在咨詢中都告誡求職者,在簡歷中列舉一些量化的工作成效是他們贏得面試機會的最佳途徑。
這些工作成效可以吸引閱讀者的注意力,同時還能突出個人職業(yè)生涯中的最大成就。這些成績可以有效證明你的“價值”所在,因此應該是你簡歷的核心。但是很多求職者在這方面做得并不好,他們的簡歷中全是職務名稱、日期和職責等方面的內容。一些管理者認為,他們看到的75%的簡歷未包括任何一項數量化的成果。據我們分析,這大概有兩個方面的原因:一方面是求職者還沒有意識到量化簡歷的重要性;另一方面求職者不知該如何量化自己的簡歷。
應聘那些熱門職位的求職者尤其應該注意量化簡歷。對于某些熱門職位,可能有幾十甚至上百個人同時競爭,量化簡歷是讓你脫穎而出的好方法。一位國內知名IT公司的管理者曾說,我每天用一個小時瀏覽100余份簡歷,如果前15秒鐘中未能發(fā)現任何可以說服我繼續(xù)讀下去的成果表述,那么這份簡歷就將成為歷史了。
每一個求職者都曾取得過或大或小的成就,但是這些成就需要被呈現在管理者的面前,無論他們是想求職、還是想要升遷或者加薪。管理者往往認為,那些能夠令人信服地展現過去成就的應聘者將來仍有可能續(xù)寫往日佳績,因此可降低他們聘用選擇的失誤率。
所以將你所取得的成就在你的簡歷中活靈活現地展示出來并加以證實是非常關鍵的。你的競爭者的成就或許比你更輝煌,但他們若不能有效地予以表述,那么他們的成就對管理者而言就沒有絲毫的影響力,從而令你獲得很大優(yōu)勢。
經常碰到的問題是“如何彌補我學歷低、經驗不足的劣勢”??梢愿嬖V大家,善于把握和利用成績的人可以彌補經驗與教育方面的不足。
如何量化你的簡歷呢?“SMART”方案是可行之策。
那么什么是“SMART”方案呢?“SMART”方案由下列要素組成:成績應當是具體(Specific)、可測量(Measurable)、行動導向(Action-oriented)、現實的(Realistic)和時效性(Time-based)的。經驗證明,如果一項成就描述包括上述各要素,那么它就會產生影響。
量化工作業(yè)績時,首先要列出你在所從事的每項工作中所取得的一項或多項成就,然后對你的工作成果進行簡要描述。雇主們尋覓的是能夠提高利潤、降低成本和解決問題的人選。百分比或金額數據等具體信息能令你以往取得的成績變得更真實、更能打動人。
比較如下兩種表述方式:
“實行新的銷售計劃,使銷售額在一年之內快速增長?!?/p>
“自98年9月開始實行新的銷售計劃,在廣告預算只有200萬元的情況下,一年之內使銷售額由500萬元快速增長至2700萬元?!?/p>
第二句中的詳細數字會令管理者對你的工作成果有更加深刻的印象。
當你沒有具體的數據時,你需要通過估算來得到百分比或金額數據。如果擁有電腦單據或公司文件來證明你的聲明是再好不過的,但你很可能缺乏此類材料。某些情況下你只能在自薦信中加以解釋,描述自己的成就和實現過程以期引起人們的注意。
即使無法以金額、數字或百分比表示的成就也能產生效果。以下陳述均有可能打動潛在的雇主:“通過技術創(chuàng)新降低了次品率”;“提前將產品推向目標市場”。或者在你對數據沒有把握的時候,試著采用“顯著地”、“極大地”等詞語。例如,“開發(fā)新的生產技術,使次品顯著減少”,“與客戶建立密切聯系,從而極大地提高了客戶忠誠度”等。
成果很有說服力,因此如果你的成就促成了某件重大的事情向積極的方向發(fā)展,那么你就應該在你的簡歷中提及。訓練自己挖掘重要成果的能力。如果你在這方面存在問題,可以試試一種簡單的技巧:寫簡歷前先將自己目前或最近的工作崗位所涉及的任務、職責領域和計劃列出來,然后針對過去的每項工作重復這種訓練。不必在意文字的精彩,重要的是回憶并正確表述你的經歷。
列出每項任務與計劃后,再來填入具體內容或由此產生的成果。
填空方法迫使你為自己的行為與成就賦予合乎邏輯的結果。繼續(xù)這一過程,直到找出每項有價值的功績。在有多項值得談及的業(yè)績時,許多人往往發(fā)現其一就止步了。應該首先將它們全部列出來,然后再決定簡歷中的取舍。
量化成績時,決定使用原始數據還是百分比將產生至關重要的影響。例如,一位地區(qū)銷售主管可以說,“三年內銷售額從450萬元上升至720萬美元”,或者“一年內使銷售額提高了60%”。兩種都是一種表述問題的方法,有時可同時選用,有時需要根據管理者的需要選擇最合適的表述方式。的確,有些朋友的工作量化起來比較困難,但是你如果做到了,你會取得意想不到的驚喜。你可以做如下嘗試,在你嘗試量化某項工作前,查找以前的記錄并且擬訂改進的方向和目標,然后做持續(xù)的跟蹤記錄。假如本企業(yè)的員工流動率較高,而你打算降低它,可以查詢過去的記錄,看看近幾年的員工流動率。隨后推行你的新辦法,并全程追蹤數率的變化。隨著它的不斷下降,它不但可以為你的升遷和加薪提供依據,而且是你簡歷中可以證明你個人成就的實際數據

一、用數字和例子說話
這里給大家舉個例子,現在有描述同一經歷的兩種說法擺在你面前:
1、推行了提高士氣的新人事政策;
2、推行了提高士氣的新人事政策,使缺勤率下降了30%,職員流動下降28%。
你會更認可哪種呢?答案是不言而喻的。有求職者可能會問,這個數字難道就不會是捏造的嗎?當然有可能,但簡歷是你的第一關,必須先聲奪人。有報道曾經說,絕大多數HR都認為,那些能夠提供以往業(yè)績確鑿數據的求職者在以后的工作中仍然會有上佳表現,雇用這些人風險最低。既然這是HR的想法,我們何不努力嘗試呢?
二、巧用百分比
數字沒有多大說服力的時候要學會換個花樣來表達,比如用百分比表示。例如,你實習期間將品牌的市場占有率由7%升至7.9%,這個數字可能并不算好看,但是可以這么寫——市場占有率提升12.9%,這樣就好多了。
其實這也體現了一個求職者靈活處事的能力,而并不是教大家偷換概念去欺騙HR。此外,對于那些無法用確切數字表示的成就可以通過你所帶來的積極的改變而定性說明。例如:曾開發(fā)過一套新的生產總量控制系統,解決了重復支出的問題。
三、強調過程和經驗
描述經歷時要強調成功經驗,具體采用了什么方法、帶來了何種創(chuàng)新、總結出了什么樣的成功經驗。其實用人單位也會關注你從過往經歷中學到的知識、經驗以及為人處世之道,以此大致推斷你是不是一個善于學習與總結的人,這也能夠加強用人單位對你的印象。
