訓(xùn)練聽、說、讀、寫四種基本技能的做法是：

1）聽：如果高中階段放棄聽力訓(xùn)練將給學(xué)習(xí)者的后續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)帶來巨大障礙，甚至成為無法逾越的鴻溝。從現(xiàn)在開始每天堅持聽十至二十分鐘英語錄音，低起點，不停步，堅持三年，你的聽力水平會在不知不覺之中有令人吃驚的進步。

2）說：目前高考無法衡量“說”的技能，但是對于個人未來發(fā)展十分重要，學(xué)習(xí)語言的目的就是口語交流。同學(xué)們可以分兩個層面來練習(xí)：

一、大聲朗讀課文，模仿錄音帶，注意培養(yǎng)自己的語音語調(diào)。

二、堅持每天說幾句英語或者一小

段話。試想一下，每天一節(jié)英語課，課上能夠有幾個人說幾句英語？如果想培養(yǎng)自己英語綜合技能，使之全面發(fā)展，就必須嚴(yán)格要求自己，平時有機會就把學(xué)到的東西運用到聽說的實踐中去。

3）讀：“得閱讀者得天下”，這是多年來經(jīng)驗教訓(xùn)的總結(jié)。大綱對‘讀’的能力要求：“能以每分鐘70～80個詞的速度，讀懂生詞率不超過3％的有關(guān)人物傳記、故事、記敘文、科普小品和有關(guān)社會文化、文史知識等不同題材的材料?！案咧须A段應(yīng)加強學(xué)生聽、讀能力的培養(yǎng)，側(cè)重培養(yǎng)他們的閱讀能力?！笨梢钥闯鎏岣唛喿x能力應(yīng)該始終是高中英語學(xué)習(xí)的主線。如果高中生不重視閱讀能力的培養(yǎng)，那么所學(xué)到的零散知識無法變成綜合運用能力。

什么叫能力？就英語考試來說，看懂英語文章并能夠解決問題就叫做能力。具體做法就是每天至少要認(rèn)真看兩篇英語短文，貴在堅持。在閱讀中積累詞匯量，特別要注意“熟詞新意”，在閱讀中培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣，在閱讀中增加解決英語問題的智慧。如果你跟英語閱讀開玩笑，它肯定會在考生成績上給你以顏色。

4）寫：英語書面表達在高考試卷里面占30分，這還不包括15分的閱讀表達?？忌芊窨汲龈叻?，此試題舉足輕重。應(yīng)該充分理解考綱里“準(zhǔn)確使用語法和詞匯；使用一定的句型、詞匯，清楚連貫的表達自己的意思”這句話的含義。它給我們指明了學(xué)習(xí)寫作的方向。高一新生首先要特別重視書寫的訓(xùn)練，書法不好英語成績難以提高。其次，應(yīng)該在文章的正確和連貫上下功夫。平時多積累好的句型和短語，會了馬上就想辦法在寫作中用上。最重要的就是多進行寫作練習(xí)。只要你認(rèn)真多寫，三年后你肯定會不發(fā)愁高考英語作文。

1.英語學(xué)習(xí)的目的絕不只是考試！

英語不僅對高考而且對以后而言都是非常重要的工具。不論你以前的英語基礎(chǔ)如何，請相信一點：可以通過努力提高成績的。所以現(xiàn)在暫時英語學(xué)習(xí)不順利的同學(xué)千萬不要中途放棄。同時，你也要相信：提高成績不是結(jié)果，而是一個過程，最后的結(jié)果是你能夠掌握一門語言和文化。

所以，現(xiàn)在就克服對英語的羞怯心理，擺脫英語給你帶來的困窘。把書面表達和口頭表達并行發(fā)展提高。多和人嘗試用英語交流，看到任何有趣的英文單詞都記下來，生活中充滿了這種樂趣。比如，萬柳新城的英文在廣告牌上寫的是“willow”，原意是柳樹，而諧音就成了萬柳，讓人不得不佩服設(shè)計師的精彩思維。接下來，我們就可以發(fā)散思維了，把所有帶“illow”的單詞都查出來玩。有billow（巨浪），pillow（枕頭）。這樣不就在生活中逐步學(xué)習(xí)了嗎。這才是學(xué)習(xí)英語的目的：“To explore the unknown”（探索未知）

2.單詞不是死背的！

背單詞很重要，因為單詞可以彌補語法不扎實和理解的不足，更可以用在作文得分中。但是，背單詞不能死記硬背，要背硬記死！單詞要采用聯(lián)想、對比、歸類、尤其是構(gòu)詞法記憶，結(jié)合字音、字形、字意和句子來記憶，在腦海中創(chuàng)建一種單詞的場景來記憶，場景一定要夸張，這樣才能記得牢*，才能死記活用且事半功倍。

3.語法不能總記成“固定搭配”

語法很重要。誰也不能繞開它而培養(yǎng)出很高的英語素質(zhì)和能力。但是，很多時候我們都會說“xxx是固定搭配，記下來！”其實不然，在語法上要多歸納，多總結(jié)，多比較，體會語法的系統(tǒng)性和規(guī)律性。于此同時，學(xué)與練相結(jié)合，在練習(xí)中提高在分析情景的基礎(chǔ)上運用語法的能力。

我們研究后，深深地認(rèn)識到：新課標(biāo)首要糾正傳統(tǒng)語法中心式的英語教學(xué)這一錯誤。英語教學(xué)是要培養(yǎng)英語的熟練使用者，而不是英語的語言運行研究專家。高考命題向這個方向轉(zhuǎn)變，應(yīng)用性變得非常的重要。

4.閱讀時培養(yǎng)語感很重要。

在考試時碰到一些自己從未見過的句型和短語，如果單*語法分析無法解決時，就可以憑借語感來判斷。訓(xùn)練方法在此提供兩種：第一：大聲唱讀法。跟磁帶朗讀課文或其他閱讀材料，一定要模仿語音語調(diào)，就像在KTV唱歌一樣，這樣不知不覺中就能把課文熟記于心了。

第二：兩遍閱讀法。第1遍，囫圇吞棗，掌握大意，不用字典。第二遍，查出生詞，劃出詞匯，整理詞句。

5.學(xué)習(xí)英語不一定要上培訓(xùn)班！

有人說，你說了半天批評性的思考，不就是想忽悠我上培訓(xùn)班嗎？請聽好，我思考的最后一點：學(xué)習(xí)英語不一定要上培訓(xùn)班！

目前英語培訓(xùn)班林林種種，皆為利來，熙熙攘攘，皆為利往。大體分為兩種：短期班和長期專項班。短期班里，平心而論，24小時讓英語有質(zhì)的飛躍是不可能的，只能激起你的興趣和掌握好的方法，在課下的練習(xí)和課上于老師的溝通此時就非常重要。而長期班專項則比較務(wù)實，在一個期間里，和老師一起扎扎實實地打好基礎(chǔ)，但是你的時間成本會比較高。如果你能掌握我之間的四種想法和方式，這些班沒有必要上，因為學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)習(xí)英語是一輩子的事情，學(xué)習(xí)的方法最為重要。
