一、考試性質
工商管理碩士生入學考試是全國統(tǒng)一的選拔性考試，在教育部授權的工商管理碩士生培養(yǎng)院校范圍內進行聯考。聯考科目包括綜合能力和英語。本考試大綱的制定力求反映工商管理碩士生專業(yè)學位的特點，科學、公平、準確且規(guī)范地測評考生的相關知識基礎、基本素質和綜合能力。綜合能力考試的目的是測試考生的數學基礎知識及運用能力、邏輯思維能力和漢語理解及書面表達能力。
