英語作為重要的載體之一,已成為人類生活各個領(lǐng)域中使用最廣泛的語言。隨著我國現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)的不斷發(fā)展,我們與國外的交往越來越頻繁,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語口語表達(dá)能力就顯得更加重要。但目前的現(xiàn)狀卻是:日常生活中學(xué)生使用英語進(jìn)行交流的機(jī)會很少,交際質(zhì)量不高,交際水平僅僅停留在一般的模仿背誦上,“啞巴式”英語依然存在,這與現(xiàn)實(shí)的要求相差太遠(yuǎn),因此必須加強(qiáng)和改進(jìn)英語口語的教學(xué),這是素質(zhì)教育發(fā)展的需要,也是時代賦予我們廣大英語教育工作者的使命。
《商務(wù)英語聽說》的教學(xué)目的在于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的口頭表達(dá)習(xí)慣,提高口頭表達(dá)和交際能力,加深他們對英、美國家政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化各方面的了解和認(rèn)識。
2.課程的性質(zhì)
《商務(wù)英語聽說》是一門以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生口頭表達(dá)和交際能力為目的的技能課,是中等專業(yè)學(xué)校英語專業(yè)學(xué)生在基礎(chǔ)階段的必修課程之一。口語是英語教學(xué)中四項(xiàng)基本技能之一,也是中國學(xué)生的一個難點(diǎn)。用英語進(jìn)行口頭表達(dá)、交際是英語語言運(yùn)用的一個重要方面。對英語口語的專門訓(xùn)練可以提高學(xué)生的表達(dá)能力、對語言的運(yùn)用能力,同時還豐富學(xué)生社會文化知識,增強(qiáng)學(xué)生對文化差異的敏感性,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自覺運(yùn)用語言的習(xí)慣,樹立開口講英語的信心。
《商務(wù)英語聽說》課程的學(xué)習(xí)是英語學(xué)習(xí)者獲取英語專業(yè)其它知識、培養(yǎng)語言專業(yè)技能的基礎(chǔ),將有利于語言類其他教學(xué),有助于語言及翻譯研究;也有助于逐步向大學(xué)英語三、四級、公共英語二級邁進(jìn)的重要課程。
3.教學(xué)目標(biāo) 商務(wù)英語聽說的教學(xué)目的在于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的口頭表達(dá)習(xí)慣,提高口頭表達(dá)和交際能力,加深他們對英、美國家政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化各方面的了解和認(rèn)識。
4.課程內(nèi)容和要求
《商務(wù)英語聽說》課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)對學(xué)生的口語和聽力都提出了明確的要求,指出“學(xué)生能聽懂英語的表達(dá);能復(fù)述課文大意;講述與本學(xué)段水平相當(dāng)?shù)男」适虏⑴c簡單的模擬和角色扮演的活動;能就熟悉的話題進(jìn)行交流和演講。”
另外,提供視聽材料,通過“視”、“聽”、“說”的結(jié)合,以直接畫面和情節(jié)內(nèi)容為基礎(chǔ)展開有針對性的口語訓(xùn)練,運(yùn)用復(fù)述、總結(jié)、對話、口頭概述、即席演講等活動形式,提高口頭表達(dá)能力。
5.實(shí)施建議 5.1教學(xué)建議
(1)五分鐘free talk :每天上課前利用五分鐘的時間,輪流由一位學(xué)生上臺說英語,為每一個學(xué)生提供在眾人面前說英語的機(jī)會。對說的內(nèi)容、說的時間長短不加限制,一年級上學(xué)期時側(cè)重簡單的會話,進(jìn)而圍繞問候、告別、感謝、應(yīng)答、道歉、打電話、意愿、問路等十幾項(xiàng)功能強(qiáng)化交際性的口語訓(xùn)練。下學(xué)期時安排講英語小故事,可以介紹家庭、個人情況等或能用簡單的英語講述自己經(jīng)歷的事情。還可以安排一至二名學(xué)生限時復(fù)述課文。臺上學(xué)生講,臺下學(xué)生聽,一舉兩得,久而久之大部分學(xué)生的膽量得到了鍛煉,口語能力也逐漸得到提高。
(2)角色扮演:口語能力只有在一個人想說時才能得到磨練,而角色扮演為提高學(xué)生的口語能力提供了動機(jī)和機(jī)會,角色扮演既可激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,還可激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的動機(jī)。角色扮演可由師生或?qū)W生扮演不同的角色,把課文以小短劇的形式表演給大家。表演的方法可以是單純的會話表演,也可準(zhǔn)備或制作一些簡單的道具,把講臺當(dāng)作學(xué)生表演小話劇的舞臺。每學(xué)期還可組織學(xué)生開展課文短劇表演比賽。角色扮演為學(xué)生訓(xùn)練口語提供了真實(shí)的場景,它克服了語言學(xué)習(xí)的枯燥感,使語言學(xué)習(xí)充滿了活力。同時,學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力也得到了提高。
(3)英語沙龍:俗話說得好“拳不離手,曲不離口”,口語能力的培養(yǎng)單靠課堂45分鐘是不夠的,應(yīng)充分利用好學(xué)生的課余時間。英語沙龍是課堂的有效延伸,它為學(xué)生嘗試運(yùn)用英語提供了機(jī)會。這里的交際活動大部分是真實(shí)的、自然的,不象在課堂里受到時間、空間的限制。學(xué)生通過用英語進(jìn)行交際,獲得信息,拓展了知識的深度和廣度,逐步養(yǎng)成了用英語思維的習(xí)慣。英語沙龍活動由班級口語能力較強(qiáng)的學(xué)生擔(dān)任組長,為了使學(xué)生在活動交流的時候有話可講,每次活動前可以公布話題,讓組員精心準(zhǔn)備,掃清障礙。沙龍活動時學(xué)生們可以自由交流,無拘無束,講錯了也無妨。英語沙龍是英語交際環(huán)境的模擬,交際活動時學(xué)生無壓力,心理負(fù)擔(dān)小,學(xué)生可在英語沙龍活動中鍛煉膽量,增強(qiáng)英語口語表達(dá)的自信。
(4)布置有聲作業(yè):實(shí)踐證明,帶有競賽性質(zhì)的游戲評比活動,并能將它貫穿在教學(xué)的始終,不但對學(xué)生產(chǎn)生一種教學(xué)魅力,能把學(xué)生牢牢地吸引在教學(xué)磁場里,更重要的是提高了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,滿足了學(xué)生的自我表現(xiàn)欲望及喜歡競爭的心理,還培養(yǎng)了他們聽、說、讀、寫的綜合能力。讓學(xué)生將他們朗讀的內(nèi)容用錄音機(jī)錄制在磁帶上,每天抽查學(xué)生數(shù)的二分之一,并把讀得好得磁帶推薦給學(xué)生,在全班播放,予以表揚(yáng)。通過抽聽學(xué)生的磁帶,從中還可以發(fā)現(xiàn)語音、語調(diào)、語法等問題,改進(jìn)教學(xué),提高教學(xué)效果。布置有聲作業(yè)還有利于培養(yǎng)性格內(nèi)向型學(xué)生的自信心,在課堂上他們不敢開口,對于這一部分學(xué)生在給予熱情幫助的同時,可以多布置一些錄音作業(yè),并經(jīng)常在班上播放他們的磁帶,定期評比出“英語朗讀之星”。久而久之他們就會擺脫自卑的情緒,英語學(xué)習(xí)的自信心也會隨之增強(qiáng)。
5.2教材編寫原則
(1)教材應(yīng)符合學(xué)生的身心發(fā)展特點(diǎn),適應(yīng)學(xué)生的認(rèn)知水平。
(2)教材應(yīng)注意引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握口語交際和交流的方法。課堂練習(xí)應(yīng)該注重實(shí)效。
(3)教材要有開放性和彈性。在合理安排基本課程內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上,給教師留有開發(fā)、選擇的空間,也為學(xué)生留出選擇和拓展的空間,以滿足不同學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和發(fā)展的需要。
5.3教學(xué)評價建設(shè)
考核包括平時成績、課堂練習(xí)和各項(xiàng)教學(xué)活動中的參與情況,以及學(xué)生對學(xué)習(xí)過程的自我監(jiān)控情況。
每學(xué)期期中、期末均安排課程考試,考試形式為口試??荚噧?nèi)容應(yīng)以所指定教材為基本依據(jù),實(shí)行考試。
本課程的考核形式:考試
學(xué)生最終成績由期末考試成績、期中考試成績、平時成績(含考勤、作業(yè)、課堂表現(xiàn)、測驗(yàn))三大部分構(gòu)成??偝煽?平時成績的30%+期中成績的30%+期末成績的40%。
5.4課程資源的開發(fā)與利用
聽說的課程資源包括課堂教學(xué)資源和課外學(xué)習(xí)資源,例如:各項(xiàng)視聽材料,通過“視”、“聽”、“說”的結(jié)合,以直接畫面和情節(jié)內(nèi)容為基礎(chǔ)展開有針對性的口語訓(xùn)練,運(yùn)用復(fù)述、總結(jié)、對話、口頭概述、即席演講等活動形式,提高聽力和口頭表達(dá)能力。
6.其他說明
6.1教學(xué)時數(shù)分配:第三學(xué)期開設(shè),每周3個課時。6.2建議使用教材:
商務(wù)英語系列教材為普通高等教育“十五”國家級規(guī)劃教材,是為適應(yīng)中國加入世界貿(mào)易組織以后對復(fù)合型商務(wù)人才的需求而編寫的?!渡虅?wù)英語聽說》是該系列教材之一。本書為上冊。本書是按照高等院校英語專業(yè)新教學(xué)大綱的要求并結(jié)合中國英語學(xué)習(xí)者的學(xué)習(xí)特點(diǎn)而編寫的聽說教材。全書12個單元,以公司企業(yè)的日常商務(wù)內(nèi)容為主。每單元包括9個部分:學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)、預(yù)備練習(xí)、詞匯表、聽力練習(xí)、示范對話、語言要點(diǎn)、鞏固練習(xí)、補(bǔ)充閱讀和補(bǔ)充詞匯。在編排上以具體的商務(wù)場景為主線,突出語言結(jié)構(gòu)和功能,聽說訓(xùn)練有機(jī)結(jié)合。本書編排新穎,內(nèi)容豐富實(shí)用,語言真實(shí)自然,練習(xí)形式活潑多樣,結(jié)合商務(wù)交際場景,易于學(xué)以致用。

P:In my view,our company can design some backpack which have BoBo character for children.As a matter of fact,many children love a backpack with cartoon characters.Furthermore,lots of children have more than one backpack.I have a 8-year-old nephew,his mother told me that he has 5 backpack.So,there is a big market for it.If we do it,it mayhelp us a lot.S:It sounds like a good idea.Jack,what’ your idea?
