高考英語(yǔ)口試的目標(biāo)是測(cè)試考生的語(yǔ)言口頭表達(dá)能力,其中包括朗讀能力、會(huì)話能力、描述能力和表達(dá)思想的能力。高考英語(yǔ)口試由五大題組成:
(1)朗讀 10%
(2)快速應(yīng)答 10%
(3)情景提問(wèn) 20%
(4)談話 30%
(5)看圖說(shuō)話 30%朗讀
測(cè)試學(xué)生的語(yǔ)音基礎(chǔ)、意群停頓、語(yǔ)氣轉(zhuǎn)換、自然流暢的連讀、失爆等朗讀技巧。
你可能認(rèn)為30秒鐘讀完這篇文章是不可能的,因此你就會(huì)加快速度,搶時(shí)間,將文章讀完。其實(shí),這是錯(cuò)誤的判斷。你應(yīng)該按正常的速度朗讀,按規(guī)定的朗讀要求讀短文。
短文朗讀考查要求如下:
(1)語(yǔ)音的基礎(chǔ)問(wèn)題。如果對(duì)英語(yǔ)國(guó)際音標(biāo)中下列4個(gè)元音的發(fā)音掌握得較好,則其他元音音素的掌握也不會(huì)有大問(wèn)題。這4個(gè)元音是/i:/, /i/, /e/, /ae/。
(2)意群和停頓。句子可按照意思和結(jié)構(gòu)分為若干段,每段稱為一個(gè)意群,英語(yǔ)中稱為sense group。每個(gè)意群有其特殊的意義。在朗讀每篇短文前,你應(yīng)找準(zhǔn)意群。這樣你可以在說(shuō)話和朗讀時(shí),意群和意群之間可稍作一定的停頓,也可以在此處換氣,使意思表達(dá)更為清楚。你還須注意在同一意群中各個(gè)單詞之間應(yīng)一口氣念完而不可停頓。意群和意群之間根據(jù)需要而停頓,也不是非停頓不可。
朗讀樣題:
A four-year-old girl/is lying/in the arms of a doctor.//She has just become motherless.//Her pink clothes are bloodied/and her eyes stare at something/only she can see.//She has suffered from a bombing/near her home/in southern Iraq.(3)語(yǔ)調(diào),主要有升調(diào)與降調(diào)兩種。升調(diào)一般用于句首狀語(yǔ)和一般疑問(wèn)句,在一個(gè)完整句子中各并列成分在最后一個(gè)并列成分前者應(yīng)用升調(diào)。如:I have three English books↗,two Chinese dictionaries↗and five pens↘.降調(diào)用在陳述句句尾和特殊疑問(wèn)句中,尤其應(yīng)注意的是一般疑問(wèn)句的回答。如:Do you have a map in your hand↗?該疑問(wèn)句的肯定回答:Yes↘,Ido↘.這里的Yes,必須是降調(diào),Ido也必須是降調(diào)。
(4)連讀與失爆。連讀較易掌握。在一個(gè)意群中,將前一個(gè)單詞最后的輔音與后一個(gè)單詞開(kāi)頭的元音連在一起讀。而失爆是朗讀中較難掌握的一種技巧。當(dāng)相鄰兩個(gè)爆破音在一起時(shí),往往給前面一個(gè)爆破音留一個(gè)位置,但不爆破,稍停隨即發(fā)后面的爆破音??焖賾?yīng)答
主要測(cè)試考生對(duì)功能性語(yǔ)言的掌握。
首先學(xué)生應(yīng)搞清這題不是回答問(wèn)題,而是對(duì)你所聽(tīng)到的句子作恰當(dāng)?shù)姆磻?yīng)。這部分的難點(diǎn)是沒(méi)有情景提示,考生必須在聽(tīng)到句子后的瞬間判斷這句子應(yīng)在什么情景下使用,其前后呼應(yīng)的句子應(yīng)該是什么。然后,再確定一個(gè)正確的應(yīng)答句。
如你聽(tīng)到的句子為:“How are you going to station?”你會(huì)想到這是兩人相遇時(shí),一人要去火車(chē)站,另一人想
知道對(duì)方去火車(chē)站的方式。你的應(yīng)答句應(yīng)是:“I am going to station by bus/by taxi/on foot?”
在聽(tīng)到考題時(shí),應(yīng)搞清這個(gè)句子的類(lèi)型:是一般疑問(wèn)句,還是特殊疑問(wèn)句;是陳述句,還是祈使句。對(duì)特殊疑問(wèn)句應(yīng)抓?。旱谝粋€(gè)詞——疑問(wèn)詞,這決定了你的應(yīng)答句的內(nèi)容。第二個(gè)詞——助動(dòng)詞,它決定了你的應(yīng)答句的時(shí)態(tài)或語(yǔ)態(tài)。當(dāng)然,其他的詞也起了不同的作用,但相比之下,這兩個(gè)詞所提供的信息尤為重要。如上述例句:“How are you going to station?”第一個(gè)詞how告訴了你應(yīng)答句的內(nèi)容有關(guān)“方式”——去車(chē)站的方式。第二個(gè)詞“are you going to”告訴了你的應(yīng)答句應(yīng)用be going to作動(dòng)詞謂語(yǔ)。情景提問(wèn)
主要測(cè)試考生對(duì)所給情景中不同信息進(jìn)行提問(wèn)的能力。
Ask 2 questions about each situation given below, at least one special question.既然題目中給你情景,必須從所給的情景中搞清幾個(gè)要素:這個(gè)情景的主角是誰(shuí),談話的對(duì)象是誰(shuí),該情景發(fā)生的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)及內(nèi)容等信息。在英語(yǔ)中也就是when, where, what's happening, whom are you talking to??
考生從屏幕上看到和耳機(jī)里聽(tīng)到的情景:
例:Something is wrong with your mobile phone.You go to the shop to have it repaired.分析:This is a very typical situation happened in a repairing tore.結(jié)論:The possible 2 questions will be:
(1)How much shall I pay for the repairing?
(2)Shall I come back to pick it up tomorrow?
注意:(1)考生所提的兩個(gè)問(wèn)題其中一個(gè)必須是特殊疑問(wèn)句。
(2)如果考生所提出的兩個(gè)問(wèn)題的答案是同一個(gè)內(nèi)容,則其中一個(gè)問(wèn)題不得分。談話
根據(jù)以往口試情況,考生在屏幕上看到題目的同時(shí)還會(huì)看到與其配套的錄像,這是為了給考生提供更多的信息??忌梢愿鶕?jù)情況采用與否。這部分考核的內(nèi)容實(shí)際上就是一篇口頭小作文——oral composition。既然它被稱為Composition,就必須按段落寫(xiě)作的要求來(lái)準(zhǔn)備。
(1)從structure來(lái)考慮,文章必須要有beginning, body and conclusion。在beginning里要開(kāi)門(mén)見(jiàn)山地提出該短文的topic sentence.在topic sentence中必須含有關(guān)鍵詞。有了關(guān)鍵詞后,則在body部分可以根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞寫(xiě)出support details。這是全部短文的重點(diǎn),而且篇幅在全文中比例最大。如果全文只有10個(gè)句子,那么,這部分應(yīng)有7~8句。最后一部分是conclusion,在結(jié)尾部分中你應(yīng)再次重申你的觀點(diǎn),但不能將主題句作簡(jiǎn)單的重復(fù)。第二個(gè)要講明的是:短文必須有內(nèi)容。
如題目為An unforgettable after Class Activity的短文,那就應(yīng)該描述一個(gè)具體的活動(dòng)。使評(píng)卷老師聽(tīng)到你講的短文后,感覺(jué)到你參加的活動(dòng)確實(shí)吸引人,令人難忘。不能靠堆積許多形容詞,而沒(méi)有一個(gè)具體的情節(jié)來(lái)證實(shí)你講的活動(dòng)讓人難忘,這個(gè)topic學(xué)生寫(xiě)得最多的內(nèi)容是下鄉(xiāng)、學(xué)軍、學(xué)農(nóng)等。如果在你的短文敘述中有這樣有情節(jié)、有內(nèi)容的材料,你的得分就不會(huì)低??磮D說(shuō)話
這部分有4幅內(nèi)容連貫的圖片,它有一個(gè)主題,也有情節(jié),并提供一個(gè)開(kāi)始句。這個(gè)題型考查學(xué)生是否能用英語(yǔ)按所給的情景來(lái)描述這4幅圖片。學(xué)生應(yīng)做到的是內(nèi)容切題,語(yǔ)言連貫,層次分明,用詞得當(dāng),句子結(jié)構(gòu)正確,語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)準(zhǔn)確、自然、流暢。字?jǐn)?shù)在120~150字左右。
拿到圖片后,應(yīng)看清圖片中的各種提示:除人物外,其他背景資料都應(yīng)看清楚。往往除了人物外,圖片還提供了故事發(fā)生的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)等資料。圖片下的開(kāi)始句向?qū)W生提供了時(shí)態(tài)與故事的背景。需要注意的是:
(1)如果開(kāi)始句為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),圖片的敘述也應(yīng)以現(xiàn)在時(shí)為主;如果開(kāi)始句為現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí),則圖片以現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)與一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)為主。
(2)如開(kāi)始句以第一人稱描述,則圖片的敘述應(yīng)用第一人稱,如果開(kāi)始句中提供一個(gè)名字(第三人稱),你對(duì)圖片的敘述也應(yīng)用第三人稱。
(3)搞清圖片的內(nèi)在關(guān)系,并且找出這一套圖片的內(nèi)含主題。
(4)如果發(fā)生在圖片上某一內(nèi)容的詞不掌握的情況,可以采取間接表達(dá)法。也就是通過(guò)另外一兩個(gè)句子來(lái)表達(dá)與該句相近的意思,這方法僅供你在找不到一個(gè)適當(dāng)?shù)脑~時(shí)才使用。英語(yǔ)的口語(yǔ)應(yīng)力求簡(jiǎn)單明了,不要用過(guò)長(zhǎng)的句子,如主從復(fù)合句等書(shū)面用語(yǔ)。

PETS3級(jí)口試部分主要考察考生用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行口頭交際的能力,要求考生能夠就生活和工作中的情景進(jìn)行對(duì)話,不僅能夠詢問(wèn)事實(shí),還能詢問(wèn)抽象的信息;能夠提供或者要求得到更清楚地闡述;表達(dá)個(gè)人意見(jiàn)、觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度。此外,還能夠描述一個(gè)事件,或者就一般性話題
作簡(jiǎn)短演講。
考生應(yīng)具備:基本連貫的進(jìn)行論述;保持語(yǔ)言的流暢;積極地交流,并能用適當(dāng)?shù)难a(bǔ)救
措施解決交流的困難。
以下是本次口試考試過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的一些問(wèn)題:
1.過(guò)于緊張;聽(tīng)不懂口試官(interlocutor)的問(wèn)題。
2.對(duì)口試的整個(gè)題型不熟悉。
比如Part B是兩個(gè)考生對(duì)一幅圖進(jìn)行討論,很多考生拿到圖片即使聽(tīng)到interlocutor的說(shuō)明,也不知道怎么說(shuō)。還有的考生主顧自己夸夸其談并沒(méi)有和搭檔互動(dòng)交際,所以這樣的考生盡管自己覺(jué)得說(shuō)得很好,但在互動(dòng)交際這部分就不會(huì)得很高的分?jǐn)?shù)。
3.有的考生口語(yǔ)還可以但是卻遇到了一個(gè)口語(yǔ)不好的搭檔。其實(shí),這并不影響好的一方,考官評(píng)分的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)有四項(xiàng):語(yǔ)法和詞匯;話語(yǔ)運(yùn)用;語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào);互動(dòng)交際。只要考生正常
發(fā)揮就可以了。
4.時(shí)間控制不好。
Pets3級(jí)三個(gè)部分共10分鐘Part A3分鐘,Part B 3分鐘,Part C 4分鐘。Part A考生基本答題情況還好,問(wèn)題出現(xiàn)在Part B 兩個(gè)人一共3分鐘,平均每人只有一分半。以這次考試為例,讓你從四件物品中,選一件推薦給你即將離開(kāi)的外國(guó)朋友。那么兩個(gè)考生可以把你認(rèn)為好的物品選出來(lái),然后討論一下為什么就可以了。有的考生并沒(méi)有直接切題,而是說(shuō)了一些和題目沒(méi)有關(guān)系的話,結(jié)果說(shuō)到正題的時(shí)候時(shí)間也到了??忌屑刹徽J(rèn)真審題,廢話連篇!Part C 也會(huì)有這樣的問(wèn)題,Candidate A說(shuō)完以后,Candidate B有半分鐘的補(bǔ)充,只是補(bǔ)充!有的考生長(zhǎng)篇大論,結(jié)果沒(méi)說(shuō)完時(shí)間到了,被考官打斷了,還沒(méi)反應(yīng)過(guò)來(lái),接下來(lái)又是自己描述評(píng)論圖片,很影響考生發(fā)揮!所以,參加口試的考生一定

4.加強(qiáng)互動(dòng)交際能力的訓(xùn)練。語(yǔ)言是人與人交流溝通的工具,除了要表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)
還要從別人那里的得到信息。
