Stay with a bucket of water

Everyone knows that water is important for us and it is also the most of(不要了)important part of the Earth.We cannot live without water.Water is around us everywhere.At home we drink it, use it for washing clothes, washing dishes, cooking food, sweeping the floor, having showers and so on.At work, we use it for growing up vegetables, putting out fires, and we can also swim in the water for fun.We need water so much, but now many rivers and lakes are polluted, so we need to make a plan to protect water.We should stop people from throwing litter into the river because many kinds of litter may pollute the environment.And the dirty water thrown into the river makes the river polluted.The polluted water cannot be used for our lives, therefore it is a kind of waste.Sometimes, we cannot screw down the bibcock, and the water will drop all the time.It is also another kind of waste.Since there are more and more people living on the earth, we are in greater need of water.We must know water is not exhaustible, so we must do something to save it.每個(gè)人都知道水對我們是十分重要的，它也是地球上最重要的一部分，我們離不開水。

水在我們周圍的任何地方。在家我們喝水、用它洗衣服、洗碗、做飯、墩地、淋浴等等。在工作上，我們用它種菜、滅火，我們也游泳。我們這么需要水，但現(xiàn)在許多河流和湖泊受到污染，所以我們需要作出一項(xiàng)計(jì)劃，保護(hù)水資源。我們應(yīng)該阻止人們把垃圾扔進(jìn)河里各種垃圾可能會污染環(huán)境。許多工廠把污水排入河里使水變臟。污染的水不能用于我們的生活，這是一種浪費(fèi)。有時(shí)候，我們不能擰緊水龍頭，水將會一直滴出來，這樣非常奢侈。

但是，現(xiàn)在地球上的水越來越少，但人口卻越來越多。水不是取之不盡的，所以我們必須將其保護(hù)。

Water is the most important part of the Earth.Nothing can grow without water.Water is the most important thing in our daily life.We use water to do many things, such as drinking, washing clothes and dishes, making a soup and so on.We also use water for growing up vegetables and putting out fires.So we need lots of water in our life, as a result the water resource has become less and less.Especially in recent years water shortage has become a serious problem in many places, and many people living in the areas can’t get enough water.Water can’t renewable so we must do something to save it and protect the water from being polluted immediately.We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water.One of the first steps is that we should develop ways of reusing it.Many people asked how they could save up the water.In fact it is very simple.Everyday after we wash our face, don’t pour the water away.We can use it to water the flowers or sweep the floor.If we didn't stop such wasteful habits, we would cut off the development of the world and even the human life.

講學(xué)習(xí)翻譯的重要性（a.翻譯是用途最廣最實(shí)用的一項(xiàng)技能；b.學(xué)習(xí)翻譯可以讓人對語言的認(rèn)識上升到一個(gè)新的高度，思考之前未思考過的問題；c.學(xué)習(xí)翻譯要有批判性思維，沒有確切答案，要有鑒別譯文的能力；）

學(xué)習(xí)翻譯的方法：處處留心皆學(xué)問

讀翻譯書、讀雙語對照讀物、自己動手做翻譯練習(xí)、留心觀察身邊的翻譯，多思考為什么、對不對

詢問學(xué)生之前有無翻譯的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，讓他們談一談自己做翻譯的體會，以及遇到的困難。2.介紹翻譯的定義、翻譯的性質(zhì)（約10min）

重點(diǎn)介紹Eugene Nida的“功能對等”（functional equivalence）理論，所謂“功能對等”，就是說翻譯時(shí)不求文字表面的死板對應(yīng)，而要在兩種語言間達(dá)成功能上的對等。奈達(dá)有關(guān)翻譯的定義指明，翻譯不僅是詞匯意義上的對等，還包括語義、風(fēng)格和文體的對等，翻譯傳達(dá)的信息既有表層詞匯信息，也有深層的文化信息?！皠討B(tài)對等”中的對等包括四個(gè)方面：詞匯對等；句法對等；篇章對等；文體對等。

在這四個(gè)方面中，奈達(dá)認(rèn)為，“意義是最重要的，形式其次”。形式很可能掩藏源語的文化意義，并阻礙文化交流。

3.介紹翻譯的分類（至第一節(jié)課結(jié)束）

按源語和譯語的相對位置：分為外語譯為本族語和本族語譯為外語兩類。

按工作方式分類，包括口譯、筆譯和機(jī)器翻譯，口譯又分為交傳和同傳。

以聯(lián)合國秘書長潘基文2011年國際寡婦日致辭節(jié)選為例，對比百度、谷歌、必應(yīng)、有道、雅虎5個(gè)翻譯引擎的表現(xiàn)，旨在說明a.機(jī)器翻譯無法代替人類；b.做翻譯的時(shí)候不要依賴機(jī)器翻譯，要自己動腦

按照題材，可以分為專業(yè)翻譯（科技文獻(xiàn)、學(xué)術(shù)著作等）、一般性翻譯（新聞報(bào)道、旅游宣傳品、政府文件等）和文學(xué)翻譯。

按照處理方式：全文翻譯、摘譯、編譯等。

4.翻譯簡史（約10min）

中國五四運(yùn)動前出現(xiàn)三次翻譯高潮，按幻燈片講，加入每個(gè)時(shí)期的代表人物

東漢至唐宋佛經(jīng)翻譯時(shí)期：代表人物為玄奘（提出“既須求真，又須喻俗”的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，即忠實(shí)、通順）

明末清初科技翻譯時(shí)期：代表人物為林紓、嚴(yán)復(fù)（欣賞林紓翻譯的書名、順提嚴(yán)復(fù)的信達(dá)雅的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)）

五四前后：外國科學(xué)讀物和馬列主義經(jīng)典著作
