Professor McGonagall in Harry Potter!In this television series, she seems to nail her roles every time, and her acting in Downton is no exception."The mother of Robert, Earl of Grantham, Violet is proud, loyal to her son.This man is Robert, Earl of Grantham.And this is his wife, Cora, Countess of Grantham.I really like McGovern as Cora---she is beautiful and graceful, but also brave and levelheaded.The Countess of Grantham is a lone American among the British, which I love!Her costumes are downright gorgeous.-5 Lady Mary Crawley, The Oldest Daughter Michelle Dockery米歇爾多克里plays the eldest and coldest daughter of Cora and Robert....her parent's desire for her to marry Matthew in order to keep Downton in the Crawley family is just one focal point in Downton Abbey.-7 And this is Lady Edith Crawley, The Second Daughter Lady Sybil Crawley, The Youngest Daughter Sybil is probably my favorite of the Crawley daughters, she is the only daughter who seems to be even slightly interested in something other than herself.Her befriending of the maid Gwen makes me smile!:)She is the most visionary [?v????neri:] and forward-thinking of the three daughters.-8 Matthew Crawley He is a third cousin, once removed, of Lord Grantham.I think he’s so handsome and with a good personality.He and Lady Mary don’t like each other at the first time, just like Pride and Prejudice , but they are really a perfect couple in this story.-9 Anna, Head Housemaid Anna is a very kind character who is always there to lend a helping hand to her friends.She seems content with her life, but is in love with a fellow member of the Downton staff, who will not let himself become involved in a relationship John Bates, Lord Grantham's manservant.As the time is limited, I only introduce some of the Actors.-10

And then I find some more details about the TV series.The aristocracy [,?ri'st?kr?si]’s favourite social activities are dinner party and hunting.The aim to held the party is not just eating and drinking, but to improve social relationship.And then I’d like to introduce some Victorian style costumes, which are from 1837 to 1901, during the reign of Queen.The era [?i?r?] of women’s clothing is characterized [?k?rikt?raiz] by extensive use of the lace, spinning, ribbons, bows, multi-layered cake cutting, wrinkle, and other elements, and the collar, princess sleeves, leg of mutton sleeves and other court style.In the conservative Victorian era, the need for pure culture, women must put their tightly wrapped.tail coat [teil k?ut] Over the years tail coats of varying types have evolved into forms of formal dress for both day and evening wear.That’s my introduce about Downton Abbey.Thank you.

《唐頓莊園》觀后感

《唐頓莊園》這部英劇的背景設(shè)定在1910年代英王喬治五世在位時約克郡一個虛構(gòu)的莊園——“唐頓莊園”，故事開始于Grantham伯爵一家由家產(chǎn)繼承問題而引發(fā)的種種糾葛，呈現(xiàn)了英國上層貴族與其仆人們在森嚴(yán)的等級制度下的人間百態(tài)。

一戰(zhàn)前后是一段對于英國傳統(tǒng)貴族來講“禮崩樂壞”的年代，人權(quán)的發(fā)展，資本主義的崛起，戰(zhàn)爭的沖擊，都在摧毀著傳統(tǒng)的固有秩序。這部電視劇有趣的地方就在于，它幾乎沒有設(shè)定多少真正意義上的壞人，每個人物基本上就是在按照自己的階級屬性在行事。而所有的沖突，都是他們每個人所秉承的理念與現(xiàn)實(shí)中的沖突。

故事的開始就是泰坦尼克號的災(zāi)難，讓唐頓莊園失去了繼承人。而他們的遠(yuǎn)房親戚，一位曼徹斯特的年輕律師，將繼承他們的一切，包括伯爵夫人的個人巨額財產(chǎn)。隨著新的繼承人的到來，整個莊園都發(fā)生著新的故事。

說起創(chuàng)新，這部劇似乎毫無優(yōu)勢：常見的選材，似曾相識的大家族矛盾，繼承權(quán)，愛情，等級觀念，人心善惡，時代更迭，哪個關(guān)鍵詞不是其他劇里面也能包括的。但是這部《唐頓莊園》最大的魅力卻是其他任何國家的電視劇集無法復(fù)制的，那就是它那老牌資本主義國家的那種歷史的底蘊(yùn)和翩翩貴族氣質(zhì)，英國出貴族，出紳士，這是全世界都知道的事，但是這部電視劇則用當(dāng)今最通俗的傳播方式，給大家講貴族到底是什么。這在現(xiàn)在中國這樣一個充斥著暴發(fā)戶的國家里，無疑是可以教育大多數(shù)人，因?yàn)楹芏嗳硕加X得自己有了錢就是貴族了，甚至這里的媒體也成天把貴族這兩個字掛在嘴邊，廣告成天打出的標(biāo)語也是貴族的標(biāo)簽，但是這部戲卻可以讓很多人汗顏，因?yàn)檎嬲馁F族不僅僅是有大房子，銀行里的存款數(shù)字或者多少仆人鞍前馬后，真正的貴族還必須是一種精神，一種生活細(xì)節(jié)和教養(yǎng)，相比之下，我們不得不承認(rèn)，現(xiàn)在的中國，只有有錢人，而沒有什么貴族。舉個例子言說一下這種精神，據(jù)說當(dāng)革命者把法王路易十六和王后推上斷頭臺的時候，王后一不小心踩了劊子手的腳，馬上客氣地說了一句：對不起，先生。這件事發(fā)生在平時，叫禮貌，發(fā)生在斷頭臺上，就叫品格。

看過這部劇的觀眾們只要回想一下劇情，一些鏡頭就一定會歷歷在目：Grantham伯爵目送戰(zhàn)友上了汽車，猶豫再三卻還是追上前去挽留；爭強(qiáng)好勝保守古樸的祖母把獎項(xiàng)頒給了園丁老人，因?yàn)樗J(rèn)識到“這樣會讓大家都更開心”；三女兒幫助小女仆尋找秘書的職位，她們屢敗屢戰(zhàn)，終于實(shí)現(xiàn)愿望；幫忙的廚師知道湯里被“加了料”，沒有責(zé)備幫廚小姑娘反而安慰她“忠心是好事”??

我們可以從這部劇中看到英國人所試圖樹立的榜樣，和向世界輸出的價值觀。它至少是讓人們能夠覺得溫暖，舒服，接受并且內(nèi)心踏實(shí)的一種價值觀?？梢运茉斐鲇羞@么一座豪宅還不讓人憎惡的一家子。再回頭看看我們的媒體，影視題材竭盡所能塑造的所謂“貴族”形象，所謂成功精英的社會榜樣，住什么樣的豪宅，開什么樣的跑車，泡什么樣的妞。我們只能說，大家對貴族兩個字的理解和追求可真是大大的不一樣

面對著浮躁冷漠的、物欲橫流的、犬儒盛行的??總之是各種這類字眼反復(fù)招呼的當(dāng)今社會，中國人也不可避免地陷入了集體懷舊，是否有什么是我們應(yīng)當(dāng)拾回的，有什么是我們?nèi)鄙俚模?/p>
