      一、課程性質(zhì)、地位和作用

      《英語(yǔ)精讀》是英語(yǔ)教育專業(yè)的專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課,也是英語(yǔ)教育專業(yè)的必修課程。屬A類(理論)課程。本課程是一門綜合英語(yǔ)技能課,其主要目的在于培養(yǎng)和提高學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的能力。該門課程是英語(yǔ)教育專業(yè)的主干課程,在本專業(yè)課程體系中居于重要地位。

      二、課程教學(xué)對(duì)象、目的和要求

      本課程適用于高等學(xué)校英語(yǔ)教育專業(yè)的??茖W(xué)生。本課程主要通過(guò)語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)訓(xùn)練與篇章講解分析,使學(xué)生逐步提高語(yǔ)篇閱讀理解能力,了解英語(yǔ)各種文體的表達(dá)方式和特點(diǎn),擴(kuò)大詞匯量和熟悉英語(yǔ)常用句型,具備基本的口頭與筆頭表達(dá)能力。

      學(xué)習(xí)本課程,學(xué)生是在已初步掌握一定的英語(yǔ)詞匯、語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)法基本知識(shí)和聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫基本技能的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行的,目的是進(jìn)一步提高綜合運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的能力,特別是要加強(qiáng)口筆頭語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力,同時(shí)加深對(duì)詞匯、語(yǔ)法、寫作、修辭等方面的知識(shí),為適應(yīng)走向社會(huì)和進(jìn)一步接受英語(yǔ)教育打下全面的牢固的基礎(chǔ)。
