to have a crush on(someone);
to feel an instant magnetism;
to catch one's eyes; to hit it off;
to have the hots for(someone);
to be attracted to each other.
* He(she)has a crush on her(him)(他對她十分愛慕)。
* He felt an instant magnetism when their eyes met.(他們見面時,他立即感到磁性般的吸?。R庵概耐獗砦?如果是 she felt …… 那么就是指男的外表吸引。
* A nice-looking girl caught his eye.(漂亮的妞兒吸?。?。
* He was introduced to a pretty woman and they seem to hit it off immediately.(他被介紹給一位漂亮女子後,他們似乎就一見鍾情)。
或
* They were attracted to each other the moment their eyes met.* When he met her, he had the hots for her.(當他見到她,他就對她愛慕不已。)
* She did not feel any attraction toward him.(她對他毫無興趣);或* He is the man for whom she
feels no attraction, catch or no catch.(不管他的條件好或壞,她對他就是沒有興趣)。
* Mr.Lin has been considered a prince on a white horse.(林先生被認為是白馬王子。)
* He is a prince in a shining armour.(動詞時態(tài):shine, shone 或shined。)
* Many people think that Mr.Clinton is a real lady‘s man.(或 a real womanizer)(許多人認為柯林頓先生喜歡在女人窩里。)
*As a casanova, he has many girl friends.(由於他是美男子,他有許多女友。)
* He has melted her down and made her knees buckle.(他把她溶化了,使她拜倒他的西裝褲下)。
* So many women swarmed him like bees to the honey.(許多女人看到他,就像一群蜜蜂見到蜜那樣蜂擁而至。)

除了How are you,你還會別的嗎? Fine, thank you, and you,你還會別的嗎?
寒暄方式1:How are you?
Very well, thanks.(這才是最正確的回答,如果別人用how.. And you?)
Fine.(如果你只想簡單回應,不想繼續(xù)聊天)Not bad.(比Fine更友好一點的回應,如果想同樣問候別人,可以加一句How about yourself?)
Fine, thanks.(比較正式的回應,一般是對不太熟悉的人說的)Pretty good.(這就是隨便的一種回答)
Great!How are you doing?(這就是很明顯的想要將談話繼續(xù)下去的一種回答方式。)
I'm hanging in there.(意思是說你今天過得很不好,或者你還可以說A tough day!)
寒暄方式2…How's it going?
It's going well.(友好、有禮貌的回復)
3 …What's up?/ What's happening?(Informal)如何回應:
這個問題其實就是在問 “What's going on?/What's happening in your life?”
What's up(What's up其實是不用回答的,有時候人們就同樣一句what's up來回應)Nothing.(一種比較沒禮貌的說法,但可以在你生氣的時候使用)
Not a lot.(常見回復)
Nothing much.(最常見的回復)
Oh, just the usual.(如果沒什么特別的事情發(fā)生,這么說也不錯。)
Just the same old same old.(通過這個表達你覺得每天生活挺無聊的。)
Oh gosh, all kinds of stuff!(如果你的生活很忙很充實,每天都過得很新鮮,可以這樣回答。)Been busy.Can't complain.(相當于not bad)
How’s everything? What's going on? How've you been? What have you been up to? How are things? What's new? Good to see you! How are you, What’s up都相似。
皊hut up!”(閉嘴!) 不如來一句“oh, come on.give me a break!”(幫幫忙,讓我歇歇吧!) 皔ou look fine!”當然不錯,可如果你說“you're in the pink!” “他精力充沛”美國人說:“he is bouncy.”
如:久仰,“I get mind of you ”比“I heard a lot about you”輕松得多。
代問他人好當然能用“please remember me to your sister.” 或“please give my best wishes to your father ”不過,若是很好的朋友,何不說,“please give my love to Jim.”
在中國可不能隨便說“我想你”,然而,當和西方人分手時說“I will miss you ”要比說“good-bye”或“see you soon”有趣得多,不妨一試。
有人開會遲到了,你若對他說 “you are late.”,聽起來象是廢話,若說“did you get lost ?”,則更能讓他歉然。
別人征求你的意見,問能否開窗戶等,你要說“you can do that.”就有點土了,用一句“do you have the time? ”實際上,問他人的姓名,地址都可以這么用:“may I have you name?”要比“what's your name ?
別人問你不愿公開的問題,切勿用“it's my secret ,don't ask such a personal question.” 你可以說“I would rather not say.”(還是別說了吧?。?。
“l(fā)et me see” “just a moment” 或 “it's on the tip of my tongue.”
交談時,你可能會轉換話題,不要只說“by the way ”,實際上,“to change the subject” “before I forget” “while I remember” “mind you ”都是既地道有受歡迎的表達。
用“I got it ”就順耳得多,要是不懂就說“I'm not clear about it.”不過如果你會說“It's past my understanding”或“it's beyond me.”
Truth?Inside information?
Just give me the lowdown,and you'll be fine.(只要告訴我真相,你就沒事。)
I don't wanna hear that noise!Just tell me what you're gonna do right now.(我不想聽那些廢話!
