2.入門階段的《牛》

因?yàn)闆](méi)有一、二年級(jí)“啟蒙”階段的經(jīng)歷和準(zhǔn)備,對(duì)零起點(diǎn)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)他們對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)沒(méi)有感性認(rèn)識(shí),們對(duì)外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的認(rèn)識(shí)僅僅停留在好奇和有趣的情況中。此時(shí)他們學(xué)英語(yǔ)會(huì)有一時(shí)的習(xí)沖動(dòng)和積極性。因此,老師要十分注意把握好教學(xué)安排和教學(xué)要求,千方百計(jì)地保護(hù)好學(xué)生的積極性,引導(dǎo)好他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,讓他們覺(jué)得外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)不但有趣,還很有用,認(rèn)識(shí)到雖然外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)他們有一定的困難,但經(jīng)過(guò)努力完全能學(xué)習(xí)好。千萬(wàn)不能要求初學(xué)英語(yǔ)的三年級(jí)學(xué)生一開始立即進(jìn)入全面學(xué)習(xí)的要求。如果一下子學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容多,學(xué)習(xí)形式過(guò)于多樣化,他們會(huì)適應(yīng)不了,再加上考試和太多的作業(yè)會(huì)讓他們覺(jué)得困難,結(jié)果是學(xué)生一開始有的興趣和積極性會(huì)喪失殆盡,學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)力無(wú)從談起。解決好這部分學(xué)生的情況,一方面老師要在認(rèn)真分析教材的基礎(chǔ)上,學(xué)會(huì)根據(jù)學(xué)生實(shí)際情況對(duì)每個(gè)Unit的內(nèi)容做出主次之分,并作必要的刪減,以便在教學(xué)中突出重,在有限的教學(xué)時(shí)間中,讓學(xué)生達(dá)到基本要求。另方面在這一階段,老師千萬(wàn)要用好教學(xué)手段,努力用學(xué)生喜聞樂(lè)見的方法,把學(xué)習(xí)變成生動(dòng)活潑的活動(dòng),激發(fā)學(xué)生參與教學(xué),努力把教學(xué)內(nèi)容體現(xiàn)在這些活動(dòng)中。下面以3A M1 U4 “Saying and doing”為例,作具體的分析說(shuō)明。
《小學(xué)牛津英語(yǔ)》的特點(diǎn)結(jié)構(gòu)體系及其教學(xué)方法
本課中包括的教學(xué)內(nèi)容有:Say a rhyme, Now Listen!Learn the letters, Look and learn, Say and act, Ask and answer, Say and act 和Make a play八個(gè)欄目。這么多的教學(xué)內(nèi)容對(duì)三年級(jí)剛開始學(xué)外語(yǔ)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)內(nèi)容是多了。為解決這一矛盾,我們可以作如下調(diào)整。把Say a rhyme刪去,因?yàn)閮焊柚猩婕暗給neten十個(gè)數(shù)詞,雖然可能不一定達(dá)到四會(huì)要求,但對(duì)這十個(gè)數(shù)詞一點(diǎn)不陌生。這樣他們?cè)趯W(xué)Say a rhyme不會(huì)有困難。相反通過(guò)這首兒歌學(xué)
可以復(fù)習(xí)單詞,起到溫故而知新的作用。如果老師引導(dǎo)得得當(dāng),配上相應(yīng)的動(dòng)作,學(xué)生在說(shuō)說(shuō)做做的活動(dòng)中學(xué)習(xí)積極性定會(huì)提高,并激發(fā)起他們的表現(xiàn)欲,產(chǎn)生成就感。
接下去的Look and learn 和Say and act及Ask and answer是教學(xué)中的習(xí)得,模仿,運(yùn)用語(yǔ)的一個(gè)完整過(guò)程,是本課的主要學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容,老師應(yīng)該重點(diǎn)安排好教學(xué)時(shí)間,通過(guò)操練帶動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí),讓盡可能多的學(xué)生參與活動(dòng),使不同能力的學(xué)生在這個(gè)活動(dòng)中都有練習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。在基本掌握Say and act的基礎(chǔ)上,可以讓學(xué)生進(jìn)入Ask and answer欄目。此欄目要求學(xué)生自主完成,先讓有能力的學(xué)生作示范,帶動(dòng)其他生。也可開展結(jié)對(duì)或者小組活動(dòng),讓學(xué)生相互幫助,相互補(bǔ)充,使每個(gè)學(xué)生都有練習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。如果有條件,可引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在Ask and answer的對(duì)話中適當(dāng)?shù)卦黾诱Z(yǔ)言輸出,擴(kuò)大對(duì)話的內(nèi)容。
《小學(xué)牛津英語(yǔ)》的特點(diǎn)結(jié)構(gòu)體系及其教學(xué)方法
例如 Open the window.中加入It is hot.Open the window, please.又如可說(shuō):The table is dirty.Clean the table, please.又如Hi, grandma.Close the door, please.等等??傊蠋煈?yīng)想方設(shè)法調(diào)動(dòng)一切積極因素,創(chuàng)造條件發(fā)揮學(xué)生的積極性,有了學(xué)習(xí)積極性他們可能表現(xiàn)出老師意想不到的潛能,產(chǎn)生積極的學(xué)習(xí)效果。
這里要說(shuō)明的是課文中Now Listen!欄目可以根據(jù)需要安排在不同的教
段,不必拘泥于它在課文中的位置。我們認(rèn)為本課中的Now Listen放在Make a play(做游戲)之前好,因?yàn)槁犃?nèi)容基本上符合游戲要求。總之,雖然《?!氛n文已為我們提供了各種形式的欄目,但老師還是可以根據(jù)實(shí)際情況調(diào)整欄目,努力達(dá)到最佳的教學(xué)效果。
五、《?!返脑u(píng)價(jià)特點(diǎn)
1. 課堂教學(xué)的即時(shí)反饋
傳統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí)評(píng)價(jià)是通過(guò)考試反映學(xué)生的成績(jī),以此了解他們的學(xué)習(xí)情況。這種方法是我們?cè)u(píng)價(jià)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的主要手段。但小學(xué)《?!窞槲覀兲峁┝艘环N思路,這就是時(shí)反饋學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)情況的目的,這種方法可讓老師在教學(xué)中及時(shí)了解教學(xué)得失,并可隨時(shí)做出調(diào)整,以適應(yīng)學(xué)生需要。這一情況體現(xiàn)在欄目的安排中,我們結(jié)合課文重點(diǎn),在設(shè)置欄目時(shí)用
同形式,或是要求學(xué)生完成的語(yǔ)言練習(xí),或是
達(dá)到及時(shí)真實(shí)地反映學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)實(shí)要求學(xué)生進(jìn)行筆頭練習(xí),甚至通過(guò)游戲或調(diào)查際情況。
以3A M3 U1 My school 為例,整篇課文分兩個(gè)板塊,一是課文學(xué)習(xí)板塊,內(nèi)容是有關(guān)學(xué)校的介紹,在學(xué)習(xí)了相關(guān)的句型和詞匯后,通過(guò)學(xué)生指圖,聽問(wèn)句作回答的方 法,檢查學(xué)習(xí)
果。另一是復(fù)習(xí)板塊,為此課文安排了一個(gè)游戲活動(dòng),以此檢查學(xué)生掌握有關(guān)數(shù)詞和文具名稱的單詞的掌握情況,這種反饋形式簡(jiǎn)單易行,又及時(shí),淡化了考查形式,能真實(shí)反映學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況,因此,老師在教中應(yīng)該注意利用好教材中提供的評(píng)價(jià)方式。
2.課文結(jié)束后的自我評(píng)測(cè)
《?!氛n本的結(jié)尾處有Student's self-assessment sheet(學(xué)生自我測(cè)評(píng))。這一形式是在學(xué)生每課學(xué)習(xí)以后,對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)情況做一自我評(píng)估。這一形式強(qiáng)調(diào)的是“自我”目的是讓學(xué)生了解自己在本課中的學(xué)習(xí)情況,為下一步學(xué)習(xí)做準(zhǔn)備。Self-assessment體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生的自主性,它是一種主要的“學(xué)習(xí)評(píng)價(jià)”,符合以學(xué)生為主體的教學(xué)理念。
3.怎樣完成“課題”
《?!吩谡n本后面安排了要
學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成的Project(課題)。“課題”是在學(xué)
擴(kuò)展性內(nèi)容,把學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容生完成某一課學(xué)習(xí)之后,根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容,要求學(xué)生完擴(kuò)展用到實(shí)踐中去,以檢查學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)能力和知識(shí)拓展能力,這也是一種學(xué)習(xí)評(píng)價(jià)形式。Project不是每課都有的,而是為有條件擴(kuò)展課文設(shè)置的。例如學(xué)習(xí)了Insect(昆蟲)要求學(xué)生進(jìn)一步了解不同昆蟲的顏色,生活的地方,它們的形態(tài),并從報(bào)刊雜志中收集有關(guān)圖片等等。這些內(nèi)容超出了學(xué)生的認(rèn)知范圍,但學(xué)生可以借助圖書,電腦尋找有關(guān)資料,完成相關(guān)練,其目的就是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)能
輔助作用,他們力,提出問(wèn)題,解決問(wèn)題的能力。在Project活動(dòng)中,老師僅只是指導(dǎo)鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生,在必要時(shí)幫助學(xué)生。
《?!范喾N形式的評(píng)價(jià)方法為教學(xué)反饋提供了即時(shí)信息,老師在結(jié)合傳統(tǒng)評(píng)價(jià)的基礎(chǔ)上,應(yīng)用好《?!分械脑u(píng)價(jià)方法,它們結(jié)合在教學(xué)中,通過(guò)這些反饋及時(shí)調(diào)整教學(xué),并以此為根據(jù)為提高課堂效率提供新的思路。
六、《?!穼?duì)老師的要求
1.老師應(yīng)該是組織者和策劃者
由于《?!氛n文形式和欄目安排的多種化,因此要用好用活這些教學(xué)材料,要求老師在教學(xué)中當(dāng)好組
者和策劃者,真正貫徹老師為主導(dǎo),學(xué)生為主體的教學(xué)
這一教學(xué)效原則,使課堂教學(xué)處于師生雙向交流,互動(dòng)共進(jìn)的氣氛之中。要達(dá)果,老師首先要了解學(xué)生,根據(jù)學(xué)生的特點(diǎn),充分利用《?!诽峁┑慕虒W(xué)資源,安排好教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié),創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,提供給學(xué)生交流的平臺(tái),激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,調(diào)動(dòng)他們學(xué)習(xí)的積極性。例如低年級(jí)的學(xué)生要
用活動(dòng)形式。但由于他們年齡小,自控能力差,因此在活動(dòng)中老師要做好組織協(xié)調(diào)工作,努力讓活動(dòng)有序進(jìn)行,只有這樣才能達(dá)到預(yù)期的教學(xué)效果。又如進(jìn)行“入門階段”學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生已有了自主學(xué)習(xí)能力,此時(shí)老師應(yīng)該組織他們?cè)诮Y(jié)對(duì)和小組活動(dòng)中互相啟發(fā)互相發(fā)展,讓他們充分發(fā)揮自己的才能。
2.老師應(yīng)較強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)言能力
《?!窂?qiáng)調(diào)聽說(shuō)領(lǐng)先,注重學(xué)生參與,為此老師應(yīng)該身體力行做好示范。首先在組織教學(xué)中盡量多講課堂用語(yǔ),盡量用好用活各種問(wèn)句,創(chuàng)造好語(yǔ)言環(huán)境,努力讓學(xué)生浸潤(rùn)在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境中。課堂英語(yǔ)的使用也是一個(gè)循環(huán)積累的過(guò)程,只要老師堅(jiān)持下去,到完全用英語(yǔ)組織教學(xué)并不是一件難事。其次在教學(xué)中除了課文中有限的語(yǔ)言要求外,老師應(yīng)盡可能地加大語(yǔ)言的輸入量,讓學(xué)生盡可能地接受英語(yǔ),即使一時(shí)不能完全明白意思,但也可讓他們感受英語(yǔ)。
