如果你遇到了極其啰嗦的人：

Stop beating a dead horse.別再重復了（別再鞭打死馬的尸體了）。Stop harping on that subject.別在那個問題上鉆牛角尖了。

SCENE 1

SCENE 2

SCENE 3

生活君在學校時，剛接觸外教，心里各種緊張，生怕聽不懂他在講什么。每每聽不懂，就會說“Pardon？”。現(xiàn)在想想真夠囧的，今天生活君就叫你怎么高端大氣上檔次的表示“你在說什么？”~

1.I don't understand you.我不懂你的話。

2.I can't follow you.我不明白您說什么。

3.Would you mind saying that once more?

您能再說一遍嗎？

4.Please slower!

請您說慢點！

您能把它寫下來嗎？

第五篇：簡單日?？谡Z：你有選擇恐懼癥嗎？

簡單日?？谡Z：你有選擇恐懼癥嗎？

1.I am in two minds about accepting his invitation.我還沒想好要不要接受他的邀請。

be in two minds about doing sth.這個詞組很直觀，如同一個人的大腦里有兩個觀點在打架，是該這樣做，還是那樣做。就是表達還沒拿定主意的意思。

2.She's wavering between buying a house in the city or moving away.是在城里買房，還是搬走，她還在舉棋不定。

waver本意里面有一種搖擺不定的意思。Waver between A and B 表示在兩種選擇間猶豫不定。另外，還可以用waver on/over sth這種搭配，如：

She wavered over the decision for hours.（她做這個決定猶豫了幾個小時。）

3.He tends to sit on the fence at meetings.他開會時通常持觀望態(tài)度。

sit on the fence “坐在圍欄上”，就是靠邊，不想?yún)⑴c的意思。通常，你還沒想好應該向著哪一方時，可以先看看情況，保持中立。

4.On the subject of marriage, he blew both hot and cold.關于婚姻問題，他總是拿不定主意。

blow hot and cold 意思是這個人隔三差五地換主意，一天一個想法，總是飄忽不定。

5.I was torn between my parents and my friend.我在父母與朋友之間左右為難。

be torn between A and B 中torn是tear的分詞形式，tear有“撕扯”之意。在A與B之間“撕扯”，就是不知道該選擇哪一方，無所適從，左右為難。

6.He should stop pussyfooting and tell us what he wants to do.他不該優(yōu)柔掛斷，直接告訴我們決定就好。

pussyfoot一般表示一個人做事總怕得罪人，謹小慎微、畏首畏尾，讓別人也不知道他到底想要什么。
