      如何備好初中英語課

      備課時(shí)“只見樹木不見森林”。在教學(xué)交流過程中,我在閱讀青年教師的教案時(shí),發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)相當(dāng)普遍的問題。他們的教案準(zhǔn)備得都很充分,有的可以說是相當(dāng)細(xì)致,連課堂用語都寫得很清楚。為準(zhǔn)備一節(jié)課,七、八頁教案寫得密密麻麻。但是我發(fā)現(xiàn)他們備課時(shí)忽視了一個(gè)根本性的東西,即《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》。

      由國家教委修訂的新《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》中對我國中學(xué)英語教學(xué)的目的和要求、教學(xué)原則及教學(xué)方法作出了明確的規(guī)定。每學(xué)期初,我們教研組都組織教師對該《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》進(jìn)行認(rèn)真的學(xué)習(xí)和討論??上У氖且坏骄唧w實(shí)踐中就有些“離譜”。

      一、青年教師出現(xiàn)這些偏差的根本原因。筆者認(rèn)為是對《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》學(xué)習(xí)不夠、領(lǐng)會(huì)不深。若是仔細(xì)研讀《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn),對于上述問題,《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》中有詳盡的論述:語言首先是有聲音的語言??谡Z是第一性的。書面語言是口語的記錄,是第二性的。培養(yǎng)聽說能力有助于鞏固所學(xué)語言知識(shí)和提高讀寫能力。我們在準(zhǔn)備教案時(shí),一定不能忘記這個(gè)根本原則。

      可能我們有的同志對此持有異議:我國在校的中學(xué)生將來能升入高等院校者,比例較低。能真正從事外語工作或出國進(jìn)修、深造的就更少了。聽說能力再棒又有何用,不如多教學(xué)生一點(diǎn)單詞、語法,再說《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》中也說要側(cè)重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力。這種看法也不能說是沒有道理。但《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》有一條是這樣說的:要在聽說訓(xùn)練有一定基礎(chǔ)以后才逐漸向閱讀訓(xùn)練側(cè)重,否則事倍功半??傊谖覀兤匠5慕虒W(xué)工作中一定要以《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》為依據(jù),用《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》來指導(dǎo)我們的工作,此處借用我國的一個(gè)成語“綱舉目張”來說明這個(gè)問題真是再貼切也不過了。

      二、備課時(shí)“只備教材不備學(xué)生”。我們青年教師剛走出學(xué)校不久,書生氣較濃,面對壓力較大的工作,急于取的好的教學(xué)成績,所以力求能和每一位同學(xué)相處好,使學(xué)生對老師有好感,對英語有興趣,不難看出學(xué)生喜歡上年輕老師的課,因?yàn)槔蠋煾袼麄兊拇笈笥?。青年教師這樣做本來可以更好的了解學(xué)生,但事情往往并不是這樣。眾所周知,誰都愿意把自己最優(yōu)秀的一面展現(xiàn)給大家,很多人、尤其是學(xué)生不愿意把自己的不足暴露于人,所以表面的熱鬧并不能使學(xué)生和老師互相有真正的了解,老師還是不能了解學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,學(xué)習(xí)障礙。從某種意義上說,了解學(xué)生比了解教材更加困難,因?yàn)榻滩氖窍鄬潭ǖ?,而學(xué)生的思想、情緒、興趣乃至表現(xiàn)卻是不斷變化的,這些都對他們的學(xué)習(xí)有直接影響。

      大多數(shù)青年教師在編制教案時(shí)均能很好地鉆研教材,尤其是課文部分往往是不遺余力,唯恐講得不細(xì),對于教學(xué)對象的課堂反應(yīng)以及教學(xué)效果考慮得比較合理,也比較周到。但一堂課上下來,效果并不理想。問題出在哪里呢?原來我們要求英語教師在課堂上盡量說英語,少說母語,這個(gè)要求本來是正確的,也是合理的。今年開學(xué)初聽了一位青年教師課,他在課堂上使用母語很少,而且他們說的英語里有不少詞匯超出了學(xué)生的接受能力,通過表情我看出有不少學(xué)生未曾聽懂,教學(xué)效果并不好,原因是這位教師對教學(xué)對象了解不夠,過高地估計(jì)他們英語水平。

      對教學(xué)對象了解不夠還表現(xiàn)在課堂提問上,有少數(shù)青年教師對教案中編制的課堂提問自己心中無數(shù)。在設(shè)計(jì)每一個(gè)提問時(shí),首先應(yīng)該站在學(xué)生的角度上想一想,是否班上大多數(shù)同學(xué)都能回答出這個(gè)問題,太難太易均不合適。如果學(xué)生答不上來,教師怎樣去啟發(fā)他們,調(diào)動(dòng)他們。教師還要針對不同程度的學(xué)生,編制一些難度不同的提問,讓盡可能多的學(xué)生參加到課堂活動(dòng)中來。對于了解學(xué)生,我們的青年教師考慮得不夠,教案編制得比較呆板,很難實(shí)現(xiàn)分層次教學(xué),更難做到因材施教。其實(shí)教案應(yīng)該是一個(gè)可塑性方案,應(yīng)該針對學(xué)生程度的不同和課堂上的具體情況靈活運(yùn)用。

      三、備課時(shí)“只備內(nèi)容不備方法”。在教學(xué)實(shí)踐中我們發(fā)現(xiàn),即使對教材、對學(xué)生很熟悉,也不一定能上好課,要真正上好課還得講究教學(xué)方法。教學(xué)方法得當(dāng)與否,往往決定教學(xué)的質(zhì)量與效果,甚至決定整個(gè)教學(xué)的成敗。

      教學(xué)方法,“一本教材,一支粉筆,一講到底”的陳舊教學(xué)模式是不能過關(guān)的。即使如此強(qiáng)調(diào)教法,我們的有些教師在教學(xué)實(shí)踐中還是暴露出一些問題。
