摘 要: 外貿(mào)函電課程是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)的核心課程,為了讓學(xué)生全面地掌握這門課程的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,教師在教學(xué)過程中必須以學(xué)生為中心,采取多種教學(xué)模式以滿足不同階段學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的需求,達到事半功倍的效果。

外貿(mào)函電課程是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)的核心課程,此課程要求學(xué)生系統(tǒng)地掌握商務(wù)知識和外貿(mào)函電的基本內(nèi)容、規(guī)范格式、專業(yè)詞匯、常用句式、行文方法與文體特點,提高學(xué)生正確、規(guī)范、熟練地使用專業(yè)英語對外進行各項業(yè)務(wù)的信函溝通能力,是一門實踐性極強、與未來工作崗位緊密相連的職業(yè)技能課程。但是學(xué)生普遍認(rèn)為這門課程內(nèi)容繁多,單純地按照教材學(xué)習(xí),過程枯燥,沒有持續(xù)的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。單一的講練或某種固定的模式只會讓學(xué)生厭煩,課堂氣氛不活躍,因此,針對這種情況,在具體教學(xué)過程中,教師應(yīng)運用多種教學(xué)模式,貫穿整個課程,在理論教學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上,加大實踐教學(xué)的力度,真正做到以學(xué)生為中心,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的崗位技能,為企業(yè)輸送合格的能說會寫的外貿(mào)人才。
一、高職外貿(mào)函電課程的主要內(nèi)容
外貿(mào)函電課程的具體學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容以國際貿(mào)易實務(wù)的流程為主線,主要可劃分為以下五大模塊:1.商務(wù)信函基礎(chǔ)和業(yè)務(wù)磋商的準(zhǔn)備,2.業(yè)務(wù)磋商的主要環(huán)節(jié),3.交易的達成,4.主要交易條款的磋商,5.爭議及爭議的解決。在這五個模塊內(nèi)容中,又有重點模塊和次重點模塊。比如業(yè)務(wù)磋商的主要環(huán)節(jié)和主要交易條款的磋商就是重點模塊,商務(wù)信函基礎(chǔ)和業(yè)務(wù)磋商相對來說就歸屬于次重點。根據(jù)內(nèi)容的重要程度,在不同的學(xué)習(xí)階段,我們可采用靈活多變的教學(xué)模式,融合各種教學(xué)方法,以激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的主動性和創(chuàng)造性,單一規(guī)定的教學(xué)模式并不能全面地調(diào)動學(xué)生的積極性和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的能力。
二、高職外貿(mào)英語函電課程的教與學(xué)的現(xiàn)狀分析
盡管外貿(mào)函電課程是一門重要的核心課程,掌握信函溝通能力是成為一名合格的外貿(mào)人才必備的基本技能,但是從近幾年的教學(xué)實踐和教學(xué)效果來看,學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)情況并不樂觀,很多學(xué)生認(rèn)為外貿(mào)函電課程是最難學(xué)的一門課。在就業(yè)工作崗位上,學(xué)生也很難完全勝任工作,甚至有學(xué)生反映畢業(yè)后重新學(xué)習(xí)外貿(mào)函電教程。筆者分析發(fā)現(xiàn)目前外貿(mào)函電課程主要存在的問題為以下幾個方面:
(一)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣有待提高。
外貿(mào)函電課程內(nèi)容繁多,涉及語言、文化、國貿(mào)實務(wù)等多方面的知識,對于初學(xué)者來說,普遍感覺難度大、進步慢、不愿學(xué)。尤其對于高職學(xué)生,英語基礎(chǔ)不是特別扎實,外貿(mào)知識又比較薄弱,學(xué)習(xí)之初還愿意參與課堂,但如果老師總是拘泥于信函的格式和語言的學(xué)習(xí),不能深入淺出地講解專業(yè)知識和采取有效的教學(xué)手段,學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)過程中很快就會失去學(xué)習(xí)的自覺性和主動性,導(dǎo)致教學(xué)效果低下。
(二)教學(xué)模式有待改進。
根據(jù)對一些兄弟院校的調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn),目前各高職院校外貿(mào)函電課程主要還是采取課堂教學(xué)為主,注重語言的學(xué)習(xí)。其主要原因在于目前具備雙師素質(zhì)的教師的缺乏,商務(wù)英語專業(yè)大部分擔(dān)任外貿(mào)函電課程的老師都是英語專業(yè)出身,缺乏外貿(mào)實踐經(jīng)驗,只能照搬教材,很難生動地引入時新案例,深入淺出地講解理論知識。因此,課堂教學(xué)模式較為單一,缺乏趣味性和吸引力。
(三)教學(xué)內(nèi)容有待更新。
目前,外貿(mào)函電課程教材種類不少,適用于高職院校的卻不多,并且內(nèi)容普遍跟不上時代的發(fā)展和變化。隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)的普及,跨境電商已成為外貿(mào)行業(yè)的主要趨勢,傳統(tǒng)的商務(wù)信函寫作基本已被電子郵件及傳真替代,國內(nèi)的外貿(mào)函電教材的內(nèi)容主要還是以信函寫作為主,強調(diào)寫作的規(guī)范性,但是在實際工作中,基本以e-mail為主,無須再過分強調(diào)信函的格式、寫信日期等,電子郵件中都會自行記載日期和具體時間。再如如今建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系主要通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)、展銷會等,教材中大多數(shù)還列舉了商務(wù)參贊處等傳統(tǒng)的渠道,在目前市場上的外貿(mào)函電教材中,能夠根據(jù)現(xiàn)狀進行更新的教材很少。因此,高職院校的一線教師應(yīng)根據(jù)目前的實際情況,更新教學(xué)內(nèi)容。
三、高職外貿(mào)函電課程多元教學(xué)模式的融合
針對高職外貿(mào)函電課程教學(xué)的現(xiàn)狀,筆者根據(jù)近年來的教學(xué)實踐,總結(jié)出以下多種教學(xué)模式,以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,強化教學(xué)效果,以供參考:
(一)設(shè)置情境,案例導(dǎo)入。
情境教學(xué)法是指根據(jù)課程教學(xué)目標(biāo)和教學(xué)內(nèi)容的要求,設(shè)置與職業(yè)崗位環(huán)境相適應(yīng)的教學(xué)情境,通過真實或模擬的工作情境,使學(xué)生認(rèn)識職業(yè)崗位所需的知識要求、技能要求和素質(zhì)要求,并通過身臨其境,激發(fā)學(xué)生對專業(yè)知識學(xué)習(xí)的主觀能動性[1]。
在外貿(mào)函電課程中,在課堂教學(xué)中,我們可通過設(shè)置具體的情境,通過真實的案例來引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容,激起學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣和熱情。具體的做法如下:比如建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系部分,老師可采取三個步驟進行:(1)案例呈現(xiàn)。根據(jù)建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系這一學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容,教師通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)和本地企業(yè)收集一手案例,分發(fā)給每個學(xué)習(xí)小組,給予一定的時間準(zhǔn)備討論。(2)案例分析和討論。各小組在拿到案例之后,就具體案情進行分析和討論,具體該如何操作,老師到各個小組中聆聽學(xué)生的討論和觀點,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生找出案例的關(guān)鍵點,鼓勵學(xué)生發(fā)表自己的看法和觀點。(3)案例總結(jié)。每組同學(xué)選派一名同學(xué)對案例總出總結(jié),表達出本組的觀點,老師進行歸納總結(jié)。
通過在課堂上設(shè)置情境,引入案例,把學(xué)生帶入特定的情景中,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生參與、分析和思考,從而加深對相關(guān)的基本理念和概念的認(rèn)識,是一種行之有效的教學(xué)方式[2]。
(二)小組合作,任務(wù)驅(qū)動。
任務(wù)教學(xué)法就是將教學(xué)目標(biāo)整合到一個或多個具體的任務(wù)活動中,使課堂教學(xué)更趨真實化、社會化,體現(xiàn)了“以用促學(xué),邊用邊學(xué),從做中學(xué)”的教學(xué)理念,培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生協(xié)同合作和解決問題的能力[3]。在外貿(mào)函電課程中,我們可以結(jié)合小組分工合作來完成教學(xué)任務(wù),具體可采用以下形式:在開學(xué)之初,把全班同學(xué)分成若干組,每組5-6名同學(xué),確定一個小組長,在學(xué)習(xí)過程中主要以小組學(xué)習(xí)為主要模式,包括閱讀樣函、分析結(jié)構(gòu)、撰寫信函等,每個組都將收到自己的任務(wù)清單?,F(xiàn)以建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系為例:(1)任務(wù)前,老師通過問題導(dǎo)入,介紹背景,明確具體的任務(wù),指出任務(wù)的重難點及完成的步驟。(2)任務(wù)中,每個小組都需要按要求完成自己的建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系的任務(wù)。(3)任務(wù)后,在按規(guī)定時間后,每個小組都要呈現(xiàn)各個小組完成任務(wù)的情況,并由老師點評,歸納撰寫建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系的基本要求和結(jié)構(gòu),掌握必要的詞匯和句型。通過小組合作,學(xué)生明確學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),有利于學(xué)生在課堂上主動學(xué)習(xí)和互相學(xué)習(xí),使課堂教學(xué)更加生動化、真實化,也激發(fā)了學(xué)生團隊合作的精神。
(三)過程導(dǎo)向,模擬公司法。
模擬公司教學(xué)法是起源于上世紀(jì)50年代德國的一種實踐教學(xué)方法,通過聚焦于單個的、系統(tǒng)的、可體驗的職業(yè)情境的腳本,使學(xué)生在公認(rèn)的國際商務(wù)運作慣例和框架中體驗企業(yè)情境,進行模擬的生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營活動,邊做邊學(xué),在做的過程中習(xí)得知識和技能,是一種歸納的學(xué)習(xí)模式[4]。根據(jù)外貿(mào)業(yè)務(wù)流程,在建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系之后,要進行一系列的詢盤、報盤、還盤的業(yè)務(wù)。在經(jīng)過這個階段的課堂學(xué)習(xí)之后,學(xué)生初步掌握了進出口貿(mào)易流程及一些重要的概念和理論,并熟悉了英語函電的格式和各種貿(mào)易術(shù)語,能夠自己撰寫業(yè)務(wù)信函,我們可進行階段性的總結(jié)學(xué)習(xí),采取模擬公司教學(xué)法讓學(xué)生鞏固所學(xué)的知識。教師通過創(chuàng)造模擬的商務(wù)環(huán)境,讓學(xué)生在模擬的公司中擔(dān)任一定的職務(wù)并完成相關(guān)的工作任務(wù),在高職外貿(mào)函電教學(xué)中起到良好的教學(xué)效果。其具體操作可參考以下步驟:
1.準(zhǔn)備階段:把各個小組分為進口商和出口商,為體現(xiàn)買方市場,出口商略多于進口商。教師規(guī)定模擬交易的商品名稱、數(shù)量、尺寸及交易方式。規(guī)定出口商的最低成本價,在報盤時不得低于此成本價。規(guī)定出口商可用的最高金額,使用的費用不能超出所給金額。
2.實施階段:各個小組成立自己的公司,包括公司名稱、標(biāo)識、企業(yè)文化及公司聯(lián)系方式、郵箱等,并設(shè)計公司架構(gòu)與崗位職責(zé)。在全班用英語介紹公司簡介,并歡迎其他公司與己建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。
3.模擬過程階段:各個小組不管是進口商還是出口商,都需要撰寫開發(fā)信,用來與潛在的客戶建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。在建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系之后,出口商要在小組內(nèi)部進行討論,商定商品的定價及交易形式等,然后給進口商進行報盤等一系列交易活動。進口商在接到各家出口公司的報盤之后經(jīng)過比較,進行還盤、接受、下訂單等一系列溝通活動。雙方在進行商務(wù)信函溝通之前,都應(yīng)進行小組討論,如自己公司的產(chǎn)品優(yōu)勢、利潤空間及信函該從哪些方面進行書寫,如何正確地運用所學(xué)的詞匯句型等。在這個交易溝通過程中,都由各個小組獨立完成,老師只是活動的組織者、策劃者,學(xué)生是活動的完成者。
4.總結(jié)點評階段:經(jīng)過3-4節(jié)課的業(yè)務(wù)模擬,各個小組都基本完成交易。每個小組派一個代表上臺公布各個小組的業(yè)績。出口商公布與之建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系的公司和盈利總額,以盈利額度的高低進行排名。進口商也公布自己完成任務(wù)所花費的金額,金額花得少者取勝。最后,老師進行總結(jié)點評,并挑選出優(yōu)秀的作品進行分享和點評。
模擬公司教學(xué)法注重理論聯(lián)系實際,以學(xué)生為中心,讓學(xué)生在虛擬的工作崗位上進行實際操作。各個小組就是一個個虛擬的外貿(mào)企業(yè),通過小組(虛擬公司)的討論,制訂銷售計劃,作出決策,包括報盤、還盤等。在整個實踐過程中,學(xué)生是主體參與者,教師只是學(xué)習(xí)過程的組織者、指導(dǎo)者,起一個引領(lǐng)作用。通過模擬公司教學(xué)法,實現(xiàn)了感性知識和理性知識的雙向轉(zhuǎn)化,使課堂教學(xué)和實踐活動有機結(jié)合,獲得了單純的課堂講授難以達到的教學(xué)效果[5]。
(四)實踐為先,強化頂崗實習(xí)。
高職教育的顯著特點之一就是強調(diào)實踐性,特別外貿(mào)函電課程是一門實踐性強的課程,因此實踐教學(xué)是必不可少的環(huán)節(jié)。實踐教學(xué)從組織上可分為課內(nèi)實踐、模擬實訓(xùn)、見習(xí)、實習(xí)等。在經(jīng)過14周的理論加實踐學(xué)習(xí)之后,安排學(xué)生進行兩周的專項強化訓(xùn)練,按照外貿(mào)流程進行模塊化訓(xùn)練,可利用校內(nèi)國際貿(mào)易仿真實訓(xùn)室,讓學(xué)生切身體會整個外貿(mào)流程,了解熟悉每個環(huán)節(jié)的操作細(xì)節(jié),從而掌握一定的業(yè)務(wù)實踐操作技能。通過這種總結(jié)性的實踐,可以及時鞏固學(xué)生所學(xué)的知識,并融會貫通,能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的熱情和積極性。
頂崗實習(xí)是高職學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的重要一環(huán)。在經(jīng)過一系列的學(xué)習(xí)之后,學(xué)生必須上崗實踐才能真正學(xué)有所用。學(xué)??砂才艑W(xué)生在校企合作單位進行頂崗實習(xí),老師跟蹤輔導(dǎo),及時解決在實習(xí)過程中遇到的困難和問題,彌補學(xué)校實踐實訓(xùn)的不足,進而讓學(xué)生全面掌握外貿(mào)技能。
四、結(jié)語
外貿(mào)函電課程的教學(xué)應(yīng)該緊跟時代發(fā)展的步伐,與社會的需求接軌,不斷更新教學(xué)材料,突出課程的實踐性,融合多種教學(xué)模式。在具體教學(xué)過程中,教師必須引進先進的教學(xué)理念,根據(jù)不同的教學(xué)內(nèi)容和教學(xué)階段,引入情境導(dǎo)入、任務(wù)教學(xué)、模擬教學(xué)等多種教學(xué)方法,以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和動力。此外,外貿(mào)函電課程是一門操作性很強的課程,所以必須特別注重實訓(xùn)和實習(xí)教學(xué),學(xué)生只有在實際操作中才能真正掌握所學(xué)內(nèi)容,才能在未來的工作崗位上勝任自己的工作。

2、為節(jié)省寶貴的課時,安排學(xué)生在課下完成各項任務(wù)。整個課程中有14實踐課時用來考核學(xué)生的任務(wù)完成情況,每組學(xué)生派一名代表在實踐課時里作演示報告。各組互相打分。
作完演示報告后,老師負(fù)責(zé)提問。老師和各組同學(xué)根據(jù)考核點打分??己它c包括:陳述效果、回答問題、單證作業(yè)、信函作業(yè)等書面作業(yè)。陳述、提問和回答均要用英語進行。陳述時間為7分鐘左右,提問時間為3分鐘左右,每組不超過10分鐘。
3、老師還要對學(xué)生上交的進出口貿(mào)易流程的各個環(huán)節(jié)的往來信函及單證等進行審閱,批改和講解。
在認(rèn)真執(zhí)行上述實踐性教學(xué)設(shè)計的基礎(chǔ)上,教師們發(fā)現(xiàn)我們的學(xué)生對該課程的學(xué)習(xí)更有興趣,效果也更好了,同時適應(yīng)社會工作的能力也隨之增強了。

38.We thank you for order of August 2 for 5,000 yards cotton piece goods but regret that we are unable to execute the order from stock,owing to the heavy demand recently for these fabrics.Our suppliers have,however,undertaken to replenish our stock within seven days and we trust that it will not be inconvenient for you to allow us this extension.感謝貴公司8月2日的訂單,購買5,000碼棉布,但是,由于最近要求此種面料的訂單過多,本公司不能從現(xiàn)貨中供應(yīng)。然而我們的廠商已經(jīng)答應(yīng),7天之內(nèi)即可補充貨物。本公司相信,即使貴公司答應(yīng)寬容期限,也不會導(dǎo)致任何不便。

46.As clearly stipulated in the Sales Contract NO.A-1044,the commission for this transaction is 3%,but we find you L/C NO.GF-124demands a commission of 5%,which is obviously not in line with the contract stipulations.Therefore,please amend the L/C to read “commission3%”.按售貨合同A-1044的規(guī)定,此次交易的傭金為3%,但我方發(fā)現(xiàn)你方開立的信用證GF-124傭金為5%,這顯然與合同規(guī)定不符。所以,請將信用證改為“傭金3%”。
47.Please see to it that the above-mentioned goods are shipped before 12 October and insured against All Risks for 150% of the invoice value.We know that according to your usual practice,you insure the goods only for 10% over the invoice value,therefor,the extra premium will be borne by us.請注意上述貨物必須在10月12 日前裝運,并按發(fā)盤金額150%投一切險。我們知道按慣例,你們只按發(fā)票金額110%投保,因此額外保險費將由我們負(fù)擔(dān)。
48.An insurance claim should be submitted to the insurance company or its agent as promptly as possible so as to provide the insurance company or its agent ample time to purse recovery from the relative party at fault.有關(guān)保險的索賠案件應(yīng)盡快提交保險公司或其代理商,以便他們有足夠的時間去向造成過錯的有關(guān)方面進行追償。49.Breakage is a special risk, for which an extra premium will have to be charged.破碎險是一種特殊險別,須額外收費。
50.If the goods,after arrival at the port of destination,are to be delivered immediately to an inland city or other port,we may cover the inland insurance on your behalf and debit your account with the additional premium.如貨物在到達目的地港后需立即轉(zhuǎn)運至內(nèi)陸城市或其他港口,我們可以代你方投保內(nèi)陸險,額外保險費將記你方賬上。
51.The premium varies with the extent of insurance.Should the goods be insured against additional risks,the extra premium should be borne by the buyer.保險費隨保險范圍而不同,如果貨物需要投保附加險,額外的費用由買方支付。
52.A proposal form is enclosed as requested,and pleased fill out and then return it by the end of this month,otherwise that may make it difficult to issue the policy in time.根據(jù)你方的請求,茲附上一份投保單,請?zhí)顚懞笥诒驹碌字凹幕?,否則會使我們難于及時發(fā)出保險單。
53.Should any damage be incurred you may approach the insurance agents at your end and submit an insurance claim supported by a survey report.如果貨物發(fā)生損壞,你方可憑檢驗報告與你所處的報銷代理聯(lián)系并提出報銷索賠。
54.Since you have obtained a survey from a reputable surveyor,we would recommend you to contact the People's Insurance Company of China and ?settlement.既然你們已經(jīng)從一個有聲譽的鑒定人那里獲得檢驗報告,我們建議你們與中國人民保險公司聯(lián)系,直接與他們商定解決辦法。
