ABSTRACT

As one of the most widely used languages in the world, English has regained its popularity in many areas of china.It is no longer just used in singular research area, but also in the field of exchange with foreign countries in economy, culture, science and technology.With the increased society requirement of English talent which lead by the rapid development of globalization, English education becomes more and more important, and there are more concerns with regards to how to make new learners master English easily and effectively.Interest is a trend of individual active exploration about some certain things or learning activities, and is a behavioral motivation.Therefore interest development in English teaching can help new learners to form a positive attitude to English learning for life.If they can learn a new language happily, a virtuous cycle both in English teaching and individual learning will be formed.The fun that learner can be aware of is the most powerful motivation, because interest is the most active element in individual activities.This paper discusses the effective learning methods and strategies and specific practical ways.By means of related studies and my findings, some new ways about how to arouse the students’ interest in learning English are raised in the paper.Key words:Interest developmentEnglish learningVirtuous Cycleteaching methodsiii

Abstract

As an applied language, English advertisement has its own linguistic style and features.Its language is original, beautiful and full of connotations.English advertisemet, using the simplest language to express the most complex meanings, stimulates people’s desire for shopping.The skillful use of puns makes advertising language more vivid and humourous.Therefore, puns have been applied much in the field of English advertisements to attatch more attention.Accordingly the effective translation of puns in this field becomes more and more important.This thesis has studied certain so as to make the Chinese translation of puns in English advertisements complete.Based on differences in language, lexicon and sentence structure of puns, this paper explain puns in detail from three respects including homophone, homograph and parody puns.This study plays the solid foundation for the translation of puns in English advertisements.Moreover, under the guide of the theory of “functional equivalence”, this thesis proposed three translation principles which provide theory supports for the Chinese translation of puns in this field.Furthermore, this paper studies the Chinese translation of puns in this field combining large amount of English advertisements with puns, and proposed five translation skills.This paper gives originality, flexibility and humorousness of puns better expression in Chinese translation texts

摘要

英語廣告作為一種應用語言，有著自己獨特的語言風格和特點。英語廣告用詞優(yōu)美獨到，內(nèi)涵豐富，耐人尋味，句法洗練，以最簡單的語言表達最復雜的意義。雙關語的巧妙運用能使英語廣告更加生動幽默，以更好地達到廣告的預定效果。因此，雙關語在廣告英語中得到大量運用，相應地，雙關語在這一領域內(nèi)的有效翻譯就變得越來越重要。

為了使英語廣告中雙關語的翻譯更加完善，本篇論文對此進行了一定量的研究。基于雙關語在英語廣告中存在著語言，詞匯，句法等方面的差異，本文分別從諧音雙關，語義雙關和仿擬雙關三個方面對英語廣告中雙關語加以詳盡闡述，為其翻譯打下堅實的基礎。同時在“功能對等”理論指導下，對英語廣告中雙關語的漢譯提出了三條翻譯原則，從而為其有效翻譯技巧的討論提供理論上的支持。進而本文結合大量包含雙關語的英語廣告實例對其翻譯提出了五種翻譯技巧并加以探討。

通過此篇論文的研究，相信可以使英語廣告中雙關語的新穎性，靈活性和詼諧性在漢譯文本中得以更好的詮釋。

摘要

英語作為一種世界廣泛應用的語言，在中國也同樣受歡迎。它已不再是單純地被英語于學術研究領域中，而是涉及到國與國之間經(jīng)濟，文化，及科學技術方面的交流。隨著社會對英語人才的需求日益增多，英語教育變得更加重要，越來越多的人開始關注如何能讓學習者更加有效更加容易地掌握一門語言。興趣是個體積極探究某種事物或進行學習活動的一種傾向，是行為的動力。因此英語教學中的興趣培養(yǎng)可以幫助學習者養(yǎng)成對英語終身學習的態(tài)度，在快樂中學習，在英語教學與自主學習的過程中形成一種良性循環(huán)，學習者體會到其中樂趣，本身就是最好的學習驅(qū)動力，因為興趣是發(fā)揮個人主觀能動性中最活躍的因素。本論文主要從教學方法的角度研究培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的方法和策略，以及具體的實踐。通過總結前人的研究并結合自己的研究提出新的方法。

Puppet play folk culture research

Man-puppet play is a kind of the local form of performance in Lingao county of Hainan province, having a long history and broad social base，the with unique art form and content rich，as well as its good momentum of development in the history of temporary high status and the impact on the reality and widely enjoyed by the masses which is widely loved.Making temporary high as Chinese puppetry arts garden village, it is a treasure of Chinese national intangible cultural heritage, known as “a rare in the world, a must in China”.Puppet play is characterized by dolls performance，complementing the melody of the dolls in artists’hands with the help of their timbres, which sings by means of the Lingao dialect.It’s mainly popular in the northwest of Hainan island and the surroundings, such as Chengmai, Danzhou, Haikou city and other cities and counties where people mainly speak Lingao dialect.(Times New Roman 小四)Key words:Folk culture；Man-puppet play；The basic characteristics； Problems and Solutions（Times New Roman小四）
