My favorite place

I have been dreaming of being a guide, since I was 8 years old.The reason why I want to be a guide is that I had seen a fantastic place named Xishuangbanna.It's so beautiful that I fell in love with it the first time I saw it,.With the passion for Xishuangbanna, I started to learn something about it.Gradually, I fell in love with tourism.Then, to be a guide became my dream.So, I studied very hard in geography, and I got a very good grade on it.Xishuangbannan is really an amazing place.It's located in the south of Yunnan Province, southwestern of China.It bordered on Laos and Burma.There are many tropical scenic spots.Every year, it attracts thousands of millions of people to visit there.What's more, in 2011 and 2012, Xishuangbanna was regarded as the one of the “the most popular 12 travel destination in the world”, by leading tourism magazine“travel+leisure”.People there are from different nations, like Chinese, Dai nationality, the Zhuang nationality....Two third of people are a minority.So, the culture here is colorful and special.In addition, it’s nicknamed “Aerial Garden” for its luxuriant and beautiful scenery.It’s also nicknamed “plants kingdom”, “animal kingdom”, ”the south medicine kingdom”, “ the world species the gene pool”, “forest ecological museum”.The climate here is hot and rainy in summer, warm and moist in winter.Because of that, there are rain forests which provide a habitat to thousands of species animals and plants.Xishuangbanna has one-sixth of the plants, and 16% animals in China.This has earned it the reputation “The moonstone on the Crown of the Kingdom of Plants”.The plant here is very huge and old.There is a saying: “Even a single tree can make a forest and an old stalk can blossom and beat fruit.The people here are very friendly and innocent, hospitality and talented.They are good dancers, and their dance is wonderful.They love drinking tea , and the tea here taste extremely good.The Pu’er tea and the Yiwu tea are the most famous tea.They also love rice, and the rice there smells sweet and tastes good.Some put the rice to bamboo, before they boil it, this kind of rice is very famous and tastes really good.When it comes to Xishuangbanna, one of the activities we can’t forget is the Water-Sprinking Festival.It’s known to almost all of the Chinese.The festival is not regular, ten days before or after the Tomb-Sweeping Day.It’s said that the more water people pour to you, the more you are popular to them.It’s a very interesting activity.What’s more, people here are good at hand-work.The works they do on their own are all very special and beautiful, which is worth collecting.Last but not least, their clothes are also special designed, it’s colorful, and comfortable.All in all, Xishuangbanna is really an amazing place which is worth travelling.And I hope one day I can go there.It will be very exciting!I’m looking forward to it.1105020077 魏姍姍（Agnes）

us don`t know environmental protection.The fact has proved that it is high time that we should protect our environment.To find knew energy for burning is the crucial work that we must achieve.we have been told that both of solar and wind are clean energy,all harmful fuels shoud be replaced by clean energy.On the other hand,the government should make legislation(立法)about
