初二英語活動課寫作教學(xué)(16)
【摘要】書面表達(dá)是中學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語應(yīng)掌握的一項基本技能,它要求學(xué)生有扎實的語言基本功,具備一定的審題能力、想象能力、表達(dá)能力和評價能力等。《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》也對學(xué)生的寫作提出了一定的要求,然而從近幾年的考試情況來看,學(xué)生書面表達(dá)錯誤較多,與《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》前言中“發(fā)展學(xué)生綜合語言運用能力”的要求還有一定的差距。本文就英語寫作的教學(xué)要點做簡單分析。
【關(guān)鍵詞】初中英語寫作教學(xué)要點
英語寫作(即書面表達(dá))是中學(xué)英語教學(xué)的一個重點,同時也是教學(xué)難點。我認(rèn)為沒有人生來就是寫作高手,在教師的有效啟發(fā)與精心設(shè)計的訓(xùn)練下,學(xué)生是可以逐步培養(yǎng)出較強(qiáng)的寫作能力的;而且初中生年紀(jì)較小,英語思維沒被“污染”,可塑性強(qiáng),這反而是進(jìn)行英語寫作教學(xué)的一個優(yōu)勢。我特別喜歡英語的寫作教學(xué),它幾乎成為我英語教學(xué)的一個中心內(nèi)容:它既可以檢驗我其他幾項基本技能教學(xué)的效果,又成為促進(jìn)它們的有效手段。我想就本人初中英語寫作教學(xué)的探索與實踐,與各位同行交流心得體會,并希望得到同行們的指教。下面具體談?wù)劤踔杏⒄Z寫作的教學(xué)要點。
一、從每節(jié)課的生詞和基本句型著手,開展造句教學(xué)。眾所周知,一篇作文是由若干個句子組成,而句子又是由若干單詞組成的。因此,可以先從用生詞造句開始。只有保證了每個句子表達(dá)正確,才能保證作文的水平度和流暢度。如:在學(xué)到like 這個生詞時,學(xué)生們往往會造出類似于“I very like English”等這樣的句子。這時,我們可以對學(xué)生作進(jìn)一步引導(dǎo):
I like English very much.(正確)
I very like English.(錯誤)
這時讓他們?nèi)ビ^察對比(此時學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)意識是主動的,興趣也極濃,印象自然也是最深的。),以后也就不會在作文中出現(xiàn)這樣的錯誤句子。我在教Unit6I’mmore outgoing than my sister 這一單元時,要求學(xué)生用學(xué)過的生詞造句:Tina is wilder than Tara, but she’s shorter than Tara.Tomhas shorter hair than Sam.And he’s calmer than Sam.Petro is heavier than Paul 等。經(jīng)過反復(fù)造句,學(xué)生不但記住了生詞,還學(xué)會了用英語進(jìn)行正確表達(dá),同時還擴(kuò)大并鞏固了學(xué)生的詞匯量。此外,對于語言表達(dá)水平較高的學(xué)生,還可鼓勵他們進(jìn)行長句練習(xí)。
在教學(xué)中還要注意讓學(xué)生全面、準(zhǔn)確地掌握五種簡單句型,即:S+V+O(主+謂+賓);S+V+P(主+系+表);S+V+O+O(主+謂+間賓+直賓);S+V+O+C(主+謂+賓+補(bǔ))因為幾乎所有的英語句型都是這五種句型的擴(kuò)展、延伸或變化。我們在訓(xùn)練“寫”之前,首先要抓住這五種基本句型的訓(xùn)練,讓他們把這五種句型記牢并不斷運用。
二、從小話題入手,練習(xí)命題作文
乍一開始練習(xí)寫作文,學(xué)生多多少少有一點兒急躁感和盲目感,不知該如何入手,以至于出現(xiàn)語序混亂、條理不清等諸多錯誤,這就要求教師給出必要的指導(dǎo)和提示。
如:在寫“My Favorite ?”話題,學(xué)生們會想到“My Favorite Friend(Animal ,Fruit,Sports ?)”,認(rèn)為這個也容易,那個也不難,但真正落筆時又覺得無話可說。此時,教師可先進(jìn)行命題作文:“My Favorite Friend”并提出如下信息:①姓名;②性別;③年齡;④相貌;⑤愛好;⑥喜愛這位朋友的原因等。這樣,學(xué)生心中有了大致的思路,表達(dá)起來肯定會自然流暢,水到渠成。之后,可由學(xué)生再自選話題“My Favorite Animal /Fruit/Subject/?”進(jìn)行鞏固練習(xí)。同樣,我在教Unit6 I’m more outgoing than my sister 這一單元時,讓學(xué)生了解了目標(biāo)語言之后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生介紹他們的朋友或同學(xué)。如:I have a very good friend.Her name is Wang Lei.She is thirteen years old.She has short straight hair.And she is more outgoing and funnier than I.She likes math very much.We often study together and help each other.I like her very much.三、把閱讀教學(xué)和寫作訓(xùn)練相結(jié)合,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的書面表達(dá)能力,把寫作貫穿于課文教學(xué)中是指在側(cè)重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀能力的同時,對學(xué)生進(jìn)行多種形式的寫作技能訓(xùn)練,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生初步運用英語進(jìn)行書面交際的能力,看圖寫作是考試題中的比較常見的題目,它要求學(xué)生首先要弄清圖中給出的信息及其內(nèi)在聯(lián)系,在此基礎(chǔ)上根據(jù)提示詞寫短文。
在上閱讀課時,我們可利用一系列連續(xù)性的教學(xué)掛圖、教學(xué)圖片和簡筆畫引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解課文,或按照關(guān)鍵詞讓學(xué)生用自己的話對課文進(jìn)行復(fù)述,課后再做一次作文訓(xùn)練。學(xué)生在復(fù)述課文的過程中,可加強(qiáng)對重點詞匯、句子、語法點的鞏固和記憶。長期堅持讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行復(fù)述練習(xí),既能鍛煉他們組織篇章結(jié)構(gòu)的能力,又能提高他們語言的精練度,尤其能提高學(xué)生的看圖寫作能力。
此外,還可要求學(xué)生把課文教材進(jìn)行改寫、縮寫或擴(kuò)寫。如通過不同的時態(tài)和人物改寫,或?qū)υ捀膶憺槎涛?,對課文進(jìn)行縮寫等,這既強(qiáng)化了學(xué)生對課文知識的記憶,又靈活運用了課文知識,重要的是同時達(dá)到了提高學(xué)生書面表達(dá)能力的目的。
四、讓學(xué)生了解各種體裁和題材的特點和表達(dá)技巧,并進(jìn)行專題訓(xùn)練。中學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的寫作體裁主要有說明文、記敘文、議論文和應(yīng)用文。其中,應(yīng)用文包括日記、通知、請假條、書信和電子郵件。教師要注意讓學(xué)生掌握各種體裁的特點,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)所要表達(dá)的內(nèi)容去搜索表達(dá)時的語言資料,表達(dá)時用什么基本時態(tài),應(yīng)用文的基本格式,較有把握的詞匯、句型等。在教學(xué)有關(guān)應(yīng)用文時,教師要及時讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行仿寫訓(xùn)練。通過多寫多練,掌握多種表達(dá)方式,提高語言的運用能力,這就容易克服從母語角度出發(fā),從自己的主觀意志出發(fā),寫出不存在的中國式英語的缺點。
五、要求學(xué)生要堅持寫作,教師要及時批改和評講,俗話說:“熟能生巧”讓學(xué)生多寫多練是提高寫作水平的重要途徑。為鼓勵學(xué)生,教師可舉辦優(yōu)秀作文展覽。把同一內(nèi)容的優(yōu)秀習(xí)作貼出來展覽,既能使學(xué)生們不同的思想、不同的語言描述,得以廣泛地交流,也能使學(xué)生體驗到成功和自信,學(xué)生的寫作水平和學(xué)習(xí)積極性也能得到不斷地提高。
作文的評改對學(xué)生的寫作是否得到提高也有很大影響。教師評改作文要及時,也需要技巧。對于寫作中出現(xiàn)的普遍問題,要在課堂上講解、分析、討論來加以解決。個別問題則要以面批或讓學(xué)生以互評的方式解決,切忌把學(xué)生的錯誤展覽于眾并進(jìn)行批評式的評論,那樣會挫傷學(xué)生的自尊心和自信心。教師注意在批改時只把其中的錯誤劃出,讓學(xué)生自己動手改錯或重寫再給老師看。這樣,老師節(jié)省了時間,學(xué)生則通過動腦和動手改正錯誤而印象深刻,從而使寫作能力提高得更快。

一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容——書面表達(dá)
因為升學(xué),考試等諸多原因,中學(xué)生的壓力很大,身心疲憊。怎樣才能減緩壓力,在繁重的學(xué)習(xí)之余學(xué)會放松自己呢?請根據(jù)提示內(nèi)容,談?wù)勀銈兊淖龇ā?/p>
內(nèi)容要點:1。放松自己;2.聽音樂、看電視;3.進(jìn)行體育鍛煉;4.與父母交流或上網(wǎng)和朋友聊天;5.參加興趣活動,如:英語俱樂部。
提示詞:1.relax ourselves 2.listen to 3.do sports 4.chat online 5.take park in activities
要求:1.包括所有內(nèi)容要點,用上述所給提示詞,可以適當(dāng)發(fā)揮;
2.語句通順、語法正確,不少于80詞。短文開頭已給出.We should learn to relax!

提高學(xué)生的英語寫作水平,培養(yǎng)合作競爭意識,優(yōu)化寫作教學(xué)過程,提高寫作教學(xué)效益。
三、教學(xué)步驟
1、熟悉要求(familiarization):教師利用多媒體介紹文體格式,簡述寫作方法,提出字?jǐn)?shù)要求等。(5分鐘)
2、小組討論(joint negotiation):將全班同學(xué)分成5個小組,每組8人,由小組長組織組員進(jìn)行協(xié)商,交流觀點,挖掘主題內(nèi)容,查閱生詞、詞組,補(bǔ)充有關(guān)信息等,以便進(jìn)一步完善或拓展其寫作思路。(10分鐘)
3、獨立寫作(independent construction):根據(jù)討論結(jié)果,小組成員每人拿出稿紙按照選定的題目進(jìn)行實際的創(chuàng)作,包括編寫提綱、打草稿等寫作過程。在這個過程中,有困難可求助于組員或老師,但不能抄襲他人成果。(15分鐘)
4、伙伴編輯(peer editing):教師簡要傳授修改策略,學(xué)生閱讀全文,并做必要的擴(kuò)充、刪節(jié)。每個組員依次評改其他三位組員的作文,并用紅筆劃出好詞、好句、好段,最后定稿(15分鐘)。由其中一位組員課后用10分鐘左右負(fù)責(zé)抄正,署上小組成員的姓名,交上一份書寫工整的、高質(zhì)量的作文。
5、教師點評(teacher commenting):將每個小組的文章利用投影儀投到屏幕上教師點評,小組寫作是集體智慧的結(jié)晶,作文質(zhì)量高,也相對工整,教師批改時主要就內(nèi)容和文章結(jié)構(gòu)發(fā)表評論,提出修改意見,采用實分制(滿分為15分),對于好詞、好句、好段、長作文予以加分,以示鼓勵;成績進(jìn)行登記。對小組寫作的成果進(jìn)行反饋:表揚成績高的小組和進(jìn)步的小組;把成績最好的作文作為范文在全班朗讀,從構(gòu)思、謀篇布局到語言運用諸方面充分肯定作文的優(yōu)點,使學(xué)生多接觸正面的內(nèi)容,把成績高的小組作文張貼在班級“佳作欣賞欄”上,并要求所有同學(xué)與此對照,對自己的作文進(jìn)行反思評價。
四、教學(xué)評價
寫作是我們英語教學(xué)的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)。主要原因有:① 交際能力的培養(yǎng)尚未得到普遍重視。② 不少學(xué)生缺乏寫作動力。③ 目前考試的負(fù)作用。④ 學(xué)校和教師的原因。
要改變目前這種現(xiàn)狀,除了在中學(xué)各級各類考試中適當(dāng)加大書寫題的份量外,提高學(xué)習(xí)效率的根本出路在于訓(xùn)練學(xué)生使用英語,提高寫作教學(xué)效益,而提高寫作教學(xué)效益表現(xiàn)為以下兩個方面:(1)促進(jìn)學(xué)生主動學(xué)習(xí),提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)寫作的興趣和智力參與度,讓各類學(xué)生都能親身經(jīng)歷合作學(xué)習(xí)和知識建構(gòu)的過程。(2)更新寫作教學(xué)觀念,優(yōu)化寫作教學(xué)過程,在英語寫作教學(xué)中促進(jìn)學(xué)生有效的學(xué)習(xí)。

書面表達(dá)需要一定的詞匯量,學(xué)生書面表達(dá)時容易忘記單詞或把漢英詞匯等同起來。因此,要求學(xué)生堅持每天聽寫、默寫、循環(huán)記憶單詞,掌握鞏固詞匯。還要求學(xué)生給出與單詞有關(guān)的同義、近義、反義和詞形相似的詞,使詞匯量得到最大限度的復(fù)現(xiàn)。
(一)用詞造句、連詞成句
造句是英語寫作中極其重要的一環(huán)??梢哉f,會造句就會寫作。要學(xué)會造句,需要注意以下幾方面。
1、熟練記憶詞匯和短語
這個環(huán)節(jié)是最基本、最重要的。記憶單詞和短語時,可以從五個方面入手:詞性、拼寫讀音、意思、用法。抓住了這一點,就像打好了萬丈高樓的地基。否則,寫作就無從談起。
2、熟練記憶各種句型和結(jié)構(gòu)
在牢記詞匯和短語的基礎(chǔ)上,還要記憶各種句型和結(jié)構(gòu),為造句進(jìn)一步打下堅實的基礎(chǔ)。像There be / How many / How much / be+adj / be+V-ing / make sb.do sth.等句型和結(jié)構(gòu)。在表達(dá)某個意思時,注意讓學(xué)生盡量使用學(xué)過的結(jié)構(gòu)造句,不可隨心所欲地造出漢語式的英語句子。
3、掌握各種時態(tài)及語態(tài)的含義和用法
要想寫出一個英語句子,就要明白用哪種時態(tài)和語態(tài)。也就是說,謂語動詞使用什么形式。這就要求學(xué)生對八種常用時態(tài)和兩種語態(tài)非常清楚。八種常用時態(tài)有:一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài),一般過去過態(tài),一般將來時態(tài),過去將來時態(tài),現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài),過去進(jìn)行時態(tài),現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài),過去完成時態(tài)。語態(tài)包括主動和被動。因此,熟練地使用各種時態(tài)語態(tài)對于造句尤為重要。
4、掌握句子類型和成分
簡單句的五種基本句型是句子類型中最基本的型式,每個英語句子都是以它們?yōu)槟P蛯懗傻?。掌握了它們,適時引導(dǎo)學(xué)生擴(kuò)大句式,鼓勵學(xué)生利用課文中的句型造句。另外還要訓(xùn)練學(xué)生“一句多譯”的能力。有時候,拿到一個中文句子,可能不會譯,這時,就要想辦法,換成其他的表達(dá)方法,迂回曲折,達(dá)到目的。通過這樣的訓(xùn)練,可以增加學(xué)生的多渠道的語言思維,提高應(yīng)變能力,從而避免“中國式”的英語。
(二)連句成篇
此項訓(xùn)練的主要目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生把語法項目、教材內(nèi)容和文章體裁有機(jī)結(jié)合起來的能力。
1.要求學(xué)生仿寫。
八年級所學(xué)課文都有一定的篇幅,老師在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解課文的基礎(chǔ)上,可要求學(xué)生用所學(xué)過的短語和句型,用自己的話把課文的基本內(nèi)容簡要的表達(dá)出來。如在教授八年級第一單元學(xué)生活動調(diào)查這節(jié)內(nèi)容時,我把格林中學(xué)的調(diào)查換成東塔學(xué)校學(xué)生活動調(diào)查,讓學(xué)生通過調(diào)查,填寫表格,然后口語,最后進(jìn)行寫作訓(xùn)練,這種以學(xué)生生活為出發(fā)點設(shè)計的作文,使得學(xué)生有話可說,學(xué)生寫作時自然會得心應(yīng)手。2.列出提綱,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生寫作。
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生書面表達(dá)有許多形式,教師要從學(xué)生“學(xué)”的角度來設(shè)計教學(xué)活動,使學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)活動具有明確目標(biāo),并構(gòu)成一個有梯度的連續(xù)活動。我首先采用給出文中的關(guān)鍵詞或短語,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生列出寫作提綱,這樣學(xué)生在書面表達(dá)時可減少審題環(huán)節(jié),不讓學(xué)生感覺無從下筆,而且學(xué)生很容易理清寫作思路。這樣由淺入深的訓(xùn)練方式,開始能讓學(xué)生產(chǎn)生成就感,漸漸地學(xué)生對書面表達(dá)產(chǎn)生了興趣,克服了恐懼心理,從寫作中獲得了成功的快樂,樹立了寫作的信心。
3.注重平時的詞句積累
鼓勵學(xué)生收集好詞好句,以便于在寫作時能信手拈來。
(三).進(jìn)行有效指導(dǎo),扎實寫作訓(xùn)練
訓(xùn)練時當(dāng)場發(fā)題,限時交卷,促使學(xué)生瞬間接受信息,快速理解信息,迅速表達(dá)信息,提高實際應(yīng)用和應(yīng)試能力。這一步是關(guān)鍵,也是學(xué)生的難關(guān)。首先必須使學(xué)生明白書面表達(dá)題既不是漢譯英,也不是作文,不可任意發(fā)揮,要求的是將所規(guī)定的。
