英語課堂教學(xué)小故事
興趣是學(xué)習(xí)的重要?jiǎng)恿?。如果學(xué)生對(duì)英語不感興趣,就會(huì)導(dǎo)致教師講課,無人聽講;上課提問,無人回答;課堂氣氛死氣沉沉;還會(huì)使原本復(fù)雜的英語知識(shí)更難學(xué),學(xué)生不知所謂,而厭學(xué),不學(xué)。那么,在英語教學(xué)中應(yīng)如何培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使學(xué)生樂學(xué)、會(huì)學(xué)、善學(xué)、并養(yǎng)成良好的學(xué)習(xí)英語的習(xí)慣呢?
本周我們?cè)谏蟯nit10 It's a nice day,isn't it?時(shí),為了提高學(xué)英語熱情 我編了些口訣來幫助學(xué)生記憶,降低學(xué)習(xí)難度,使學(xué)英語的熱情升溫。對(duì)學(xué)生講“be”的用法,記口訣:I用am,you用are;is跟著他,她,它。要問復(fù)數(shù)用什么?其后全部都用are,又如,基數(shù)詞變序數(shù) 詞:八 減 t,九去e,字母f代 ve,ty 變成tie,然后再加th.等等。教師只要常收納,多積累,勤總結(jié),教學(xué)也定會(huì)趣味橫生。
學(xué)生對(duì)這些口訣很感興趣。就連我們班的張志東,李永景都說這樣記很簡(jiǎn)單,我們很喜歡。還有學(xué)生提議用英語開展文娛活動(dòng),如組織學(xué)生唱唱英語歌曲,做做英語游戲,用英語講故事和編演文娛節(jié)目等,我覺得學(xué)生的想法別具一格,新奇好玩,有力于提高學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。也能使學(xué)生在樂中學(xué),學(xué)中樂,輕松愉快,既陶治了身心,又促進(jìn)了學(xué)習(xí),特別是編演文娛節(jié)目的活動(dòng),還培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生多方面的能力和創(chuàng)新精神,效果奇強(qiáng)。

我的英語課堂教學(xué)小故事

小學(xué)生的榮譽(yù)感很強(qiáng),好勝心更強(qiáng),遇事總想比個(gè)高低,爭(zhēng)個(gè)優(yōu)先。我抓住學(xué)生心理的這一特征,課上,我充分利用圖片,讓他們游戲、表演、競(jìng)賽,在愉快的、有意義的情景中發(fā)現(xiàn)、歸納、創(chuàng)造。
復(fù)習(xí)食物類單詞時(shí),我借助圖片讓學(xué)生做游戲,鞏固所學(xué)的語言知識(shí)。我把學(xué)生分成A、B、C三組,A組代表fruit,B組代表food。
我先對(duì)A組說:“I like fruit very much,What’s your favourite fruit?”
A組的一位學(xué)生說:“I like mangoes.Mr Fang.May I have a mango , please?”
我就把帶有mango的圖片遞給A組的這位同學(xué)。
以同樣的方式將帶有的食品的圖片交給A、B二組,然后要求持圖片的學(xué)生隨意地站成一個(gè)圓圈,讓C組做游戲。
我說:“Put the fruit on the desk,Put the food on the chair?!?C組評(píng)出他們中誰做得對(duì),誰做錯(cuò)了,把自己的圖片錯(cuò)放在別人的地方,對(duì)方就得到這張圖片。
接下來叫A組學(xué)生說出fruit包括哪些,依次類推。哪組說錯(cuò)單詞,哪組就要對(duì)方圖片,最后決出哪組的圖片多,教師就獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)冠軍隊(duì)。
這樣,不僅參加游戲的學(xué)生的熱情高漲,就是在座位上的學(xué)生也積極參與。在英語課堂上,教師機(jī)敏的教學(xué)機(jī)智應(yīng)表現(xiàn)在對(duì)孩子主體的尊重,表現(xiàn)為對(duì)孩子的體驗(yàn)的理解等,而更多地則表現(xiàn)在讓每一個(gè)學(xué)生都成為主角。
英語課上,每次積極舉手的往往都是那些英語佼佼者,但是那些不敢舉手的中等生或差生更需要關(guān)注。
記得一次,我上課提問,有一個(gè)學(xué)生平時(shí)成績(jī)很一般,上課極少舉手,可這一次我從他期待的眼神中,發(fā)現(xiàn)他很想回答,但又不敢舉手。我?guī)е膭?lì)的語氣叫了他,他的回答有些緊張,發(fā)音也有些錯(cuò)誤。我糾正了他的發(fā)音,鼓勵(lì)他再說一遍。他看看我,又看看其他同學(xué),低著頭想了想。正在我以為他會(huì)放棄的時(shí)候,他抬起了頭對(duì)我說:“老師,你能不能把問題再說一遍?!?/p>
我笑著又說了一遍,他盯著我勇敢地說出了答案。雖然他仍然有些緊張,但是講得很準(zhǔn)確。坐下時(shí),我給了他一張貼畫。從他自豪、興奮的表情中,我堅(jiān)信他在學(xué)習(xí)英語的征途中已經(jīng)邁出了成功的一大步。
老師對(duì)學(xué)生的關(guān)注和尊重,能使一個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)困難的學(xué)生產(chǎn)生成就感,樹立起學(xué)好英語的信心。

蘇霍姆林斯基曾有這樣一句話:“我們教育對(duì)象的心靈決不是一塊不毛之地,而是一片已經(jīng)生長(zhǎng)著美好思想道德萌芽的肥沃田地。因此,教師的責(zé)任首先在于發(fā)生并扶持學(xué)生心靈土壤中的每一株幼苗,讓他們不斷壯大,最后排擠掉自己缺點(diǎn)的雜草?!币虼嗣鎸?duì)這樣的心靈,教師首先要做心靈發(fā)現(xiàn)而不是灌輸----教育者在系統(tǒng)地實(shí)施自己預(yù)定教育步驟的同時(shí),還應(yīng)敏銳地發(fā)現(xiàn)并細(xì)心扶持學(xué)生生活中的一些平凡小事,從他們的失誤挫折中挖掘其潛在的積極的教育因素。有些學(xué)生,他們的求知欲較旺盛,性格活潑好動(dòng),思想比較純正,行為舉止文明,但在學(xué)習(xí)上,成績(jī)不穩(wěn)定,學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度也是時(shí)好時(shí)壞。這類學(xué)生的轉(zhuǎn)化是很關(guān)鍵的,若引導(dǎo)的正確,他們就會(huì)很快樹立信心趕上來;若引導(dǎo)不好,則會(huì)比一般學(xué)生更容易掉隊(duì)。
在課堂上,總是有很困惑也很苦惱的事情。因?yàn)闉榱送瓿删脑O(shè)計(jì)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,四十分鐘的課堂里我似乎總是在趕呀趕??墒牵还?jié)課辛辛苦苦下來,還不見得學(xué)生喜歡,不見得有成效,甚至大部分學(xué)生的注意力都不能集中,有小聲說話的、游玩小東西的、有摳手指玩的……
面對(duì)這些情況,我非常煩惱。后來,我在不停地自我反省,找原因找對(duì)策。是不是我設(shè)計(jì)準(zhǔn)備的課有問題?我真正按照學(xué)生的實(shí)際需求、學(xué)生的接受水平、學(xué)生的興趣點(diǎn)入手的了嗎?我有隨時(shí)跟著學(xué)生的思維、學(xué)生的情感在講嗎?我的課我的內(nèi)容有在貼著學(xué)生的心進(jìn)行嗎?
一連串的疑問讓我不得不去思考,也許真的是反思才能有所觸動(dòng),有所改進(jìn)。慢慢的,我備課設(shè)計(jì)內(nèi)容,不再想當(dāng)然的認(rèn)為是學(xué)生需要的、學(xué)生喜歡的了,而是課前課后多和他們接觸,了解他們,聽聽他們的聲音,他們的想法,然后再結(jié)合這些真實(shí)的信息來收集資料,準(zhǔn)備下一節(jié)課。
我的課堂教學(xué)最大的改變是,我上課不再就是為了完成教案,呈現(xiàn)完設(shè)計(jì)好的課件。而是給了自己更多可以靈活便通的時(shí)間和機(jī)會(huì)。于是我的注意力不再只關(guān)注教案進(jìn)行到哪里,課件展示到哪里了,而是更多關(guān)注學(xué)生聽到了哪里,接受了哪些,還需要些什么。有時(shí),甚至為了解決學(xué)生課堂上的疑惑或進(jìn)行最有效的引導(dǎo)疏導(dǎo),我寧可刪減或放棄本來安排好的內(nèi)容。尤其有時(shí)為了處理學(xué)生課堂上的突發(fā)狀況,我會(huì)把教學(xué)內(nèi)容及時(shí)做個(gè)調(diào)整,臨時(shí)增加很多本來沒有準(zhǔn)備的題外話,比如根據(jù)當(dāng)時(shí)的狀況,當(dāng)時(shí)的需要,我會(huì)選擇不同的內(nèi)容和他們聊聊。有時(shí)和他們說說人生,談?wù)勎易约旱慕?jīng)歷,講講我的童年,我的生活等等。有時(shí)則是選一兩個(gè)故事來講。學(xué)生們最喜歡聽我講故事了,故事往往都不長(zhǎng),有動(dòng)物界的,有人類的,有遠(yuǎn)古的,有身邊的,但他們喜歡在小小的故事中去思索,去反復(fù)回味,去學(xué)會(huì)成長(zhǎng)。而我發(fā)現(xiàn)這個(gè)時(shí)候?qū)W生們的眼神也是最專注的,表情也是最寧靜的。生活也許就是這樣,當(dāng)你不再刻意給自己框一個(gè)架子時(shí),你才會(huì)更接近真實(shí),接近本質(zhì),你才會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己原來也可以輕松自如,瀟灑應(yīng)對(duì),而結(jié)果往往也是讓自己有更多驚喜的。因?yàn)槲野l(fā)現(xiàn)每次再走進(jìn)教室時(shí),學(xué)生眼中有了更多的期待和喜悅。原來得到這一切其實(shí)并不難,只要你用心去觀察,用心去體會(huì),并讓自己的心貼著學(xué)生的心走,那么課堂教學(xué)就會(huì)在心的溝通中得到很好的成長(zhǎng),很好的收獲!

The Lion and the Mouse
It once happened that a hungry lion woke to find a mouse just under his paw.He caught the tiny creature, and was about to make a mouthful of him, when the little fellow looked up, and began to beg for his life.In the most piteous tones ,the mouse said: “If you only spare my life now, O lion, I will be sure to repay you.”

Mencius , who lived from 372 to 289 B.C., is regarded as the greatest sage(圣人)next only to Confucius in Chinese history.There are many stories about this great sage.Mencius's father died early.His mother did all she could to make young Mencius to study hard.She moved the family three times in order that her son would be interested in books.Once she moved because her neighbor was a butcher.Young Mencius liked to watch him work and imitate him.Finally the family settled down in the neighborhood of a school.The teacher was a learned man , and the sound of reading could be heard every day.Now young Mencius began to imitate the teacher and liked to read books.Still Mencius wasn't working real hard.Her mother was worried.One day his mother was weaving cotton cloth at home, when she saw her son stop reading his lessons.She took up a knife to cut the cloth on the loom.She told her son that if he didn't work hard at his lessons, his future would be destroyed like the cloth.It is said that from then on Mencius buried himself in books and later became one of the greatest thinkers in the country.Today,the story about the good mother is told and retold throughout the country.注釋
