8.中國(guó)夏商時(shí)期的青銅器,很簡(jiǎn)單。首先青銅器是用來在spiritual和religious儀式上,日常生活不用(有題),日常生活用陶器。然后一個(gè)重要功能是wash因?yàn)榧漓胫杏衱ash這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)(有題)。最后說青銅器主要是帝王和貴族用因?yàn)榍嚆~象征不朽和個(gè)人地位(有題)。最后說道古希臘也很擅長(zhǎng)做青銅器(今天的聽力跟古希臘古羅馬干上了)但是跟中國(guó)沒法比,中國(guó)有古代最大的青銅作坊和工人。

有幾個(gè)不同的理論來說猛犸象還是什么的大型動(dòng)物為啥滅絕。一是說人類捕獵導(dǎo)致,二是說氣候變化導(dǎo)致水食物變少,最后又跳出一個(gè)人說在座的都是垃圾,都忽略了重要的一點(diǎn),生態(tài)圈是環(huán)環(huán)相扣的,每一個(gè)小變化都會(huì)導(dǎo)致蝴蝶效應(yīng),所以是上述理論結(jié)合起來的結(jié)果,他的理論也彌補(bǔ)了上述理論的不足,比如理論一沒有大量捕殺遺跡來支撐。
2.Economic Decline in Europe during the Fourteenth Century

6.The First Eyes
講eyes是什么時(shí)候形成的,主要看怎么定義eyes,如果認(rèn)為eyes是器官,那就是要在細(xì)胞分裂以后,但很多protists很早就可以通過光線調(diào)整日常活動(dòng),比如新陳代謝等(有題,問protist的描述不包括,選生存在水環(huán)境中)。然后舉了個(gè)典型例子,且由于這些現(xiàn)代的protists跟記載的ancient的極其相似,所以估計(jì)很早就有eyes了。(有題,問相似說明什么,選exist for long)。給了個(gè)eyes的定義,然后指出這個(gè)定義解釋了eyes的基本功能,但是存在漏洞,沒有涉及到一些其他因素,比如眼部運(yùn)動(dòng),圖像等等。但eyes一開始的功能也就這樣了,且有些動(dòng)物一開始就是有眼睛的。(有題,問early eyes的描述,選開始進(jìn)化時(shí)就可以detect)。Precambrian時(shí)期,動(dòng)物稀少,證據(jù)不多,但5千萬年后的Cambrian時(shí)期,就有好多動(dòng)物了。(有題,問 Cambrian時(shí)期特征,選 abundant animals)第四段:接著一個(gè) Cambian時(shí)期后的 deposit(叫Burges Shale)為origin of eyes提供了 direct evidence,指的是這個(gè) deposit 里面發(fā)現(xiàn)的軟體動(dòng)物化石(有題,問關(guān)于Burges Shales哪個(gè)描述不正確,選有Precambrian和Cambrian的化石)第五段:在 Burges 化石的動(dòng)物中,部分是有eyes的,跟現(xiàn)代生物的眼睛長(zhǎng)蠻像,然后解釋有些shrimp和crab的眼睛長(zhǎng)在stalk上面,這樣視野更廣,有的眼睛是長(zhǎng)身體表面的,比如有個(gè)Opa的動(dòng)物,課窩教育 ? 版權(quán)所有

不是自然氣候變化,而人類是主要原因,文章通過例舉一系列動(dòng)物數(shù)字的滅絕,同時(shí)例舉了毛利人以及歐洲人在捕殺動(dòng)物的一些事實(shí),充分論證人類是物種滅絕最主要的原因。同時(shí)最后提到過度捕魚現(xiàn)象,需要引起更多人的重視。開頭介紹了當(dāng)?shù)氐耐寥篮铜h(huán)境不適合大量作物,但隨著溫度上升等原因,土壤的質(zhì)置提升,可以種植大量的燕麥。接著提到Natufian人群,有更強(qiáng)的種植和收割植物的能力,同時(shí)也學(xué)會(huì)了在農(nóng)作物儲(chǔ)存在有利位置,隨著作物的充足,人口也大置激增,人口進(jìn)行擴(kuò)張,在此過程中也出現(xiàn)了階級(jí)概念,然而有遇到 了干旱問題,他們由原來的hill zone去了 high altitude地區(qū),因?yàn)閷?duì)cereal 非常熟悉,所以也能保證農(nóng)作物生長(zhǎng)。

5.來自geology class,這篇主要講的是seafloor topography,教授說sea surface的研究有很多但seafloor的卻很少,然后開始講人們進(jìn)行seafloor研究的 歷程,主要講了兩種技術(shù),第一個(gè)技術(shù)是聲吶技術(shù),它的問題在于調(diào)查范圍比較 小,需要很多船才能探測(cè)到entire seafloor,這會(huì)費(fèi)力費(fèi)錢,所以另一種新技術(shù)發(fā)明了這種新技術(shù)雖然可以進(jìn)行很大范圍的探測(cè)但是它探測(cè) 的數(shù)據(jù)缺少details。最后教授說現(xiàn)在的探測(cè)要把這兩種技術(shù)結(jié)合起來,而且目前沒有一種技術(shù)能包含這兩種技術(shù)的優(yōu)點(diǎn)。
6.The United States government class,這篇主要講了一種環(huán)保技術(shù),這種環(huán)保技術(shù)早就在美國(guó)被發(fā)明,發(fā)明的原因是有段時(shí)間美國(guó)遭到了 energy shortage,人們害怕傳統(tǒng)的能源馬 上就要枯竭,于是有一個(gè)task就專門研究新能源。這種新能源各方面都很好但有一個(gè)問題就是貴,一般人用不起,于是有人提出讓政府大量投資,以至于讓這種能源能便宜下來,還舉了一個(gè)例子,意思就是曾經(jīng)這個(gè)東西非常貴然后政府大量的買這些東西使價(jià)格下 降,所以那時(shí)候的人也想這么干,讓政府投資很多錢,政府不愿意,于是美國(guó)總統(tǒng)連一點(diǎn)錢都沒給這個(gè)技術(shù),于是這個(gè)技術(shù)就垮掉了,至今也沒有用的起來。
7.來自astronomy class,這篇主要講了一種star,它們?cè)谒赖臅r(shí)候(一般會(huì)死很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間)會(huì)放出很強(qiáng)的光,教授就討論了為什么它們會(huì)放出這么耀眼的光。首先教授指出一般這種luminous star非常大存在于較小的galaxy中而且這些 galaxy很年輕,那些不亮的star存在于較大 較old的galaxy中。然后professor問學(xué)生為什么會(huì)這樣勒?然后開始回顧star是怎么死的,女生說是因?yàn)樽陨韍ydrogen和ice water不斷累加什么的,professor說不是,是因?yàn)閟olar wind,它們會(huì)將star的hydrogen和ice慢慢消磨,吹向galaxy 中,所以那些老的galaxy就回比較大,年輕的galaxy就會(huì)比較小,luminous star就很大而且很亮。

5.來自geology class,這篇主要講的是seafloor topography,教授說sea surface的研究有很多但seafloor的卻很少,然后開始講人們進(jìn)行seafloor研究的歷程,主要講了兩種技術(shù),第一個(gè)技術(shù)是聲吶技術(shù),它的問題在于調(diào)查范圍比較小,需要很多船才能探測(cè)到entire seafloor,這會(huì)費(fèi)力費(fèi)錢,所以另一種新技術(shù)發(fā)明了這種新技術(shù)雖然可以進(jìn)行很大范圍的探測(cè)但是它探測(cè)的數(shù)據(jù)缺少details。最后教授說現(xiàn)在的探測(cè)要把這兩種技術(shù)結(jié)合起來,而且目前沒有一種技術(shù)能包含這兩種技術(shù)的優(yōu)點(diǎn)。
6.The United States government class,這篇主要講了一種環(huán)保技術(shù),這種環(huán)保技術(shù)早就在美國(guó)被發(fā)明,發(fā)明的原因是有段時(shí)間美國(guó)遭到了 energy shortage,人們害怕傳統(tǒng)的能源馬上就要枯竭,于是有一個(gè)task就專門研究新能源。這種新能源各方面都很好但有一個(gè)問題就是貴,一般人用不起,于是有人提出讓政府大量投資,以至于讓這種能源能便宜下來,還舉了一個(gè)例子,意思就是曾經(jīng)這個(gè)東西非常貴然后政府大量的買這些東西使價(jià)格下降,所以那時(shí)候的人也想這么干,讓政府投資很多錢,政府不愿意,于是美國(guó)總統(tǒng)連一點(diǎn)錢都沒給這個(gè)技術(shù),于是這個(gè)技術(shù)就垮掉了,至今也沒有用的起來。
7.來自astronomy class,這篇主要講了一種star,它們?cè)谒赖臅r(shí)候(一般會(huì)死很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間)會(huì)放出很強(qiáng)的光,教授就討論了為什么它們會(huì)放出這么耀眼的光。首先教授指出一般這種luminous star非常大存在于較小的galaxy中而且這些 galaxy很年輕,那些不亮的star存在于較大較old的galaxy中。然后professor問學(xué)生為什么會(huì)這樣勒?然后開始回顧star是怎么死的,女生說是因?yàn)樽陨韍ydrogen和ice water不斷累加什么的,professor說不是,是因?yàn)閟olar wind,它們會(huì)將star的hydrogen和ice慢慢消磨,吹向galaxy 中,所以那些老的galaxy就回比較大,年輕的galaxy就會(huì)比較小,luminous star就很大而且很亮。
