1．教材簡析：
本單元的日常交際用語主要是圍繞“征詢意見”編排的，What about …? 是表示“……怎么樣？”的意思，用于征求別人意見?！癢hat about”一般都是在一定的情景下才使用這個句子，如果離開了交際情景而直接說What about …?就會顯得唐突。教材分別提供了“餓—買熱狗”和“渴—買飲料”兩個場景供教師教學(xué)日常交際用語。
本單元單詞教學(xué)部分增加了a hot dog ,a sandwich, a pie ,some bread ,some rice ,soft drinks ,a bar of chocolate ,a carton of milk教材這樣編排便于學(xué)生根據(jù)情景把單詞與對話結(jié)合起來操練。

Unit 4 Time
一、教材簡析：
本單元由五部分組成： A Learn to say ,B Look and learn , C Look and say ,D Look ,read and write , E Fun house.本單元Learn to say圍繞“詢問時間”這一功能項目按照時間順序創(chuàng)設(shè)了一個個真實(shí)自然的場景，并由此展開了數(shù)詞1-12的教學(xué)。本單元除要求學(xué)生比較熟練地掌握時刻表達(dá)法What’s the time? It's ?o’clock以及數(shù)詞1-12外，還出現(xiàn)了常用句型Shall we ?? It’s time to?, You can ?在加上Let’s?的復(fù)現(xiàn)，知識點(diǎn)較多，任務(wù)較重。在教學(xué)中教師應(yīng)盡量利用情景幫助學(xué)生整體理解課文，把重點(diǎn)放在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生實(shí)際運(yùn)用語言的能力上，而不要過多地講解語言知識。
