我所實(shí)習(xí)的學(xué)校地處鄉(xiāng)村小鎮(zhèn),只教七年級(jí)的英語。在這里,學(xué)生原有的英語基礎(chǔ)和學(xué)習(xí)英語的習(xí)慣都較差,這勢必大大影響了初中英語的學(xué)習(xí)效果,在這幾個(gè)月的教學(xué)工作中,經(jīng)過努力和學(xué)習(xí),我也掌握了比較多的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和教學(xué)理念,但同時(shí)我發(fā)現(xiàn)剛升七年級(jí)的學(xué)生成績兩極分化現(xiàn)象,普遍存在,而且是比較難以解決的一個(gè)問題。

第一、學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)目的不明確。有不少學(xué)生開始學(xué)英語時(shí)是從興趣出發(fā),隨意性和方向性程度大。他們學(xué)英語只是一陣子,一旦遇到挫折,就容易喪失興趣和信心,知難而退,不思上進(jìn),導(dǎo)致成績直線下降。
第二、學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)方法欠佳。有些學(xué)生沒有掌握好正確的學(xué)習(xí)方法。如:記單詞,死記硬背;練句型,生搬硬套,不注意語言環(huán)境;寫句子不遵循英語習(xí)慣,強(qiáng)行漢譯英逐句逐詞對(duì)譯等。
第三、學(xué)生不了解學(xué)習(xí)英語的關(guān)鍵和要點(diǎn)。不少學(xué)生誤以為,英語是知識(shí)型、理解型的課程,僅滿足于老師講的內(nèi)容聽懂了,而沒有把主要精力用在聽、說、讀、寫實(shí)踐練習(xí)上,所以就無法形成語言技能,不能熟練掌握,就會(huì)邊學(xué)邊忘,越學(xué)越困難,最終導(dǎo)致掉隊(duì)。
第四、學(xué)生忽視了語言學(xué)習(xí)的漸進(jìn)性。學(xué)習(xí)英語一定要循序漸進(jìn)、扎扎實(shí)實(shí)、逐步提高。單詞學(xué)不好就無法組織句子,簡單句掌握不好就難學(xué)復(fù)合句,聽力差就不能說好英語。如果一段時(shí)期沒有抓緊,連續(xù)出現(xiàn)缺漏,學(xué)生繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)英語就困難重重。
第五、教師的教學(xué)問題。英語課堂教學(xué)是初中生學(xué)習(xí)英語的主要渠道,如果教師教學(xué)不得法,不嚴(yán)格遵循語言教學(xué)規(guī)律,不全面貫徹英語教學(xué)原則,教法單一呆板,只注重知識(shí)傳授,不注意能力培養(yǎng),只注重講解,不注意實(shí)踐,這樣持續(xù)下去,學(xué)生就很自然地只滿足于學(xué)好語法、背會(huì)單詞、看懂課文、會(huì)做習(xí)題,而實(shí)際上沒有達(dá)到熟練掌握,形成技能。大面積掉隊(duì)的現(xiàn)象,也就在所難免。
造成學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣不高的原因我認(rèn)為還有的就是學(xué)生感覺課堂的安全度不夠高,其實(shí)在課堂上有很多同學(xué)對(duì)老師提出的問題都有想去思考和回答的趨勢,但又怕自己舉手回答后答錯(cuò)了或者被同學(xué)說是“搶風(fēng)頭”,有這樣的心理存在就在一定程度上打擊了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性,久而久之造成學(xué)習(xí)興趣的下降,甚至討厭上課。
基于以上分析,為防止和杜絕兩極分化現(xiàn)象的形成,教師就必須根據(jù)兩極分化及時(shí)幫助,以防為主,初中英語的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和基本技能,因此教學(xué)應(yīng)面向全體同學(xué),爭取做到人人基本達(dá)標(biāo)。在教學(xué)過程中學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)出現(xiàn)差距是不可避免的。一旦出現(xiàn),就應(yīng)該及時(shí)找學(xué)學(xué)生談,分析他們掉隊(duì)的原因,動(dòng)之以情,曉之以理,使學(xué)生從思想上認(rèn)識(shí)到學(xué)習(xí)外語的重要性。同時(shí)給予學(xué)習(xí)方法的指導(dǎo),耐心幫助他們補(bǔ)習(xí)功課。對(duì)于一些有可能掉隊(duì)的學(xué)生,及早指出,說明掉隊(duì)的嚴(yán)重后果,做到防患于未然。產(chǎn)生的成因,有的放矢地采取相應(yīng)的對(duì)策。
首先,五分鐘會(huì)話。每堂安排五分鐘左右時(shí)間進(jìn)行會(huì)話。會(huì)話內(nèi)容有值日生匯報(bào)、自我介紹、家庭情況、談?wù)撎鞖庖约笆煜さ母栊恰⒂靶呛瓦\(yùn)動(dòng)員等。讓學(xué)生自由用英語交談,允許學(xué)生模仿課文內(nèi)容適當(dāng)增減,自由發(fā)揮。也可以根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容,通過問答形式作簡要的復(fù)述。在開展會(huì)話中,始終以學(xué)生為主體,引發(fā)他們的聯(lián)想思維,由單一的討論內(nèi)容過渡到綜合內(nèi)容,把幾個(gè)不同內(nèi)容的話題串聯(lián)起來,既復(fù)習(xí)舊知識(shí),又開發(fā)了學(xué)生的智力。我特別注意,輪到中差生值日生時(shí),鼓勵(lì)他們大膽實(shí)踐,并注意發(fā)現(xiàn)他們的“閃光點(diǎn)”,有點(diǎn)滴進(jìn)步就給予表揚(yáng)肯定,以增強(qiáng)他們的自信心。
其次,注重語感教學(xué)。加強(qiáng)聽說訓(xùn)練,努力做到視、聽、說同步,培養(yǎng)語感和學(xué)習(xí)興趣。每篇課文的生詞、句型和文章都是朗讀的好材料。朗讀不能老是采用“跟我讀”的形式,而是要注意創(chuàng)造情景,讓學(xué)生懂得不同句子的重音有不同的語感,顯示說話者不同的語言的心理。同樣,語調(diào)的不同,重音的移動(dòng),也體現(xiàn)了說話者不同的心理狀態(tài)。經(jīng)過訓(xùn)練,學(xué)生在以后朗讀中也就注意了正確使用語音、語調(diào)和重讀、弱讀及升調(diào),這樣朗讀繪聲繪色,津津有味,整個(gè)課堂興趣盎然,學(xué)習(xí)積極性大大提高。
第三,對(duì)話使用,角色表演。結(jié)合課文內(nèi)容,每教授一個(gè)情景句型,讓學(xué)生用當(dāng)天所學(xué)的自編一個(gè)簡短的情景對(duì)話,到講臺(tái)表演。如學(xué)到Where is your pen pal from 這課,我發(fā)動(dòng)學(xué)生搜集各種他們所能搜集到的筆的類型,并找出產(chǎn)自于哪里,然后讓他們拿著自己搜集來的筆和資料上臺(tái)用英語講解,如果不懂的地方同學(xué)可以幫忙,整個(gè)課堂就是歡聚一堂,在熱烈氣氛中學(xué)會(huì)并運(yùn)用所學(xué)的句型,提高了運(yùn)用語言交際的能力。對(duì)于因害怕答錯(cuò)問題的學(xué)生,我在課堂上會(huì)充分的利用一些教學(xué)手段,比如小組討論,每個(gè)小組選一名同學(xué)代表本小組來回答老師提出的問題,這樣學(xué)生的怕答錯(cuò)題的心理就比較容易消除,創(chuàng)造一種互助協(xié)作的氣氛。增加學(xué)生的自信和安全感。另外還要適當(dāng)?shù)墓膭?lì)答錯(cuò)的題的同學(xué),讓他們逐漸的建立一種課堂的安全感。
第四,運(yùn)用直觀教具為了進(jìn)一步激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣。我們鄉(xiāng)村地方?jīng)]有多媒體教室,于是我充分利用圖片、圖表實(shí)物、錄音機(jī)等教具,生動(dòng)形象地開展教學(xué)和交際活動(dòng)。例如,用提問的方式猜物品,讓學(xué)生大聲讀出這個(gè)物品叫什么,然后自己將實(shí)物與英語句子連起來,練習(xí)聽、說。這樣的話英語課的趣味性、直觀性很強(qiáng),就容易吸引學(xué)生的注意力,營造英語氛圍。這樣學(xué)生不但有興趣去接受所學(xué)的知識(shí),更重要是的是能夠?qū)P牡母S你備課思路去走。
第五,平時(shí)注意了解和分析每個(gè)學(xué)生的具體實(shí)際情況,因材施教,有的防矢,合理安排好45分鐘教學(xué)內(nèi)容和進(jìn)程,課堂上,與學(xué)生互動(dòng),讓每個(gè)學(xué)生都參與學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)
第六,溫故知新,人的記憶時(shí)長是有限的,當(dāng)天學(xué)的東西要讓學(xué)生們熟練運(yùn)用就必須回家溫習(xí)。因此,我會(huì)布置家庭作業(yè),以復(fù)習(xí)當(dāng)天的功課。我要讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)┈復(fù)習(xí)┈再復(fù)習(xí),反復(fù)操練,由易而順利地完成一個(gè)個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)。
第七,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生訂出學(xué)習(xí)英語長期計(jì)劃和短期安排,每天堅(jiān)持搞好課前預(yù)習(xí),發(fā)動(dòng)家長幫助督促實(shí)施,第二天上課之前以互動(dòng)或提問的方式復(fù)習(xí)下上一堂課的知識(shí)點(diǎn)及重點(diǎn),讓學(xué)生們輕松徹底的掌握。在學(xué)生經(jīng)過一段學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)后,進(jìn)行歸納分析,以鼓勵(lì)表揚(yáng)為主,滿腔熱情幫助學(xué)生,及時(shí)處理反饋信息,當(dāng)堂鞏固,讓學(xué)生真正地學(xué)有所得.第八,讓學(xué)生擁有學(xué)習(xí)的能力,所謂“授人以魚,不如授人以漁”教是為了學(xué)生的“學(xué)”,因此,我重視對(duì)學(xué)生的課外學(xué)習(xí)的指導(dǎo),幫助他們養(yǎng)成良好學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣和自學(xué)能力:(1)早讀課,堅(jiān)持聽新教材的課文錄音,加強(qiáng)聽力訓(xùn)練,讓學(xué)生模仿地地道的英美人語音、語調(diào);(2)鼓勵(lì)他們多讀一些英語小故事,嘗試去讀一些英文原著;(3)強(qiáng)調(diào)作業(yè)的獨(dú)立完成,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生克服困難的意志。幫助學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)到,做作業(yè)實(shí)際上是新舊知識(shí)的運(yùn)用過程,一定要養(yǎng)成自覺獨(dú)立完成作業(yè)的習(xí)慣;(4)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生認(rèn)真聽課,初步運(yùn)用英語思維和理解;(5)從音、形、義幾方面培養(yǎng)觀察力和記憶力,打好語音基礎(chǔ);(6)用聯(lián)想對(duì)比,歸納演繹等記單詞和語法知識(shí)。
