      縱觀當前小學英語教學的整個過程,經過實際的聽課、調查,并結合自身的英語教學,我對小學英語教學的現狀有了一定的了解。就目前來說,聽力訓練在小學英語教學中還沒有受到應有的重視,學生的“聽”的技能沒有得到很好的訓練和發(fā)展。通過分析和總結,我發(fā)現制約小學生聽力發(fā)展的因素,主要有以下四個方面:

      (一)語音教學存在缺失

      語音是語言存在的物質基礎。語音教學是整個英語教學發(fā)展的起點,在語音階段不打下扎實的基礎,單詞的讀音就有問題。單詞不會讀或讀不準,直接影響到單詞的記憶和積累,同時學生的聽力理解能力也會受到相應的阻礙。因為學生在聽的過程中,即使信息中的單詞已經學過,也會因為單詞不會讀或與自己的發(fā)音有差異而對單詞感到陌生,從而造成理解上的困難。

      經過調查研究,我發(fā)現當前小學英語教學中在語音方面普遍存在缺失,主要是教師們對語音教學重視不夠,具體表現為:

      (二)聽覺刺激手段單一性和缺乏實效性

      傳統的小學英語教學過程中,作為接收信息的“聽”方面,形式單一。絕大部分同學停留在聽老師講課和聽課文錄音這個層面,這固然重要,但是課堂教學的時間與獲得良好的聽力理解能力所需的時間相差甚遠。學生僅靠課堂上有限的時間來進行學習和訓練,那是遠遠不夠的。

      再者,以聽課文錄音為主要的聽覺刺激手段缺乏實效性。傳統的聽說教學方法是讓學生聽課文錄音,然后教師根據課文內容提出問題讓學生回答。從實質上來看,這種教學方法只局限于對課文進行細節(jié)性和事實性的聽力理解訓練。學生一旦對課文內容有了大概的了解,不聽錄音一般也能回答教師所提出的問題;從教學的動機與效果相統一的角度來看,這種教學方法對于提高學生聽力理解能力來說還不是一種有效的方法。

      教師在英語學習的入門階段要加強語音教學,注意區(qū)分和模仿正確的語音、語調。英語中有很多單詞的讀音是很相似的,如tail[teil]和tell[tel],但是它們的意義完全不同,前者是一個名詞,指“尾巴”,而后者是一個動詞,是“告訴”的意思,兩者之間根本沒有聯系,因此需要教師在進行語音教學時嚴格把關。英語中還有一些單詞的讀音是完全相同的,如meet和meat,兩個單詞都讀作[mi:t],但是意義也截然不同,這就要求學生牢固地掌握這兩個單詞的意義,根據具體的語境來加以區(qū)分,辨別聽力材料中涉及到的究竟是哪一個單詞,才能獲得準確的信息。

      (二)聽覺刺激手段多樣化,多渠道培養(yǎng)學生的聽力

      教師在對學生進行聽力訓練的過程中,還要注意及時反饋。聽力訓練的情況進行得如何,要靠反饋來表現。反饋有時表現得不那么顯著,具有一定的彈性,往往容易被人忽略,因此需要教師有意識地觀察掌握,加強對學生聽力訓練過程的跟蹤記載,以便及時調整聽力訓練策略。反饋形式可以多樣化,如問答形式、填空形式、是非判斷形式、聽寫或記錄形式等。同時,在反饋過程中,教師要適時運用鼓勵性評價,對每個學生的學習情況加以肯定,并激勵他們更努力地去學習。
