第二篇：英語習語
1.I don't want to be the third wheel.我不想當電燈泡.一般的自行車都只有二個輪子, 要是有三個輪子呢? 沒錯, 那第三個輪子就是多余的.所以 Third wheel 就是美語中電燈泡正確的表示方法.還有一個**, 叫 I don't want to be the third arm.這里不是說 “三只手”的意思, 而是和 third wheel 一樣, 都是電燈泡的意思.2.He is dating another girl on the side.他同時腳踏兩條船.我想把這句說成 I have my feet in two boats 的人也不在少數(shù)吧!其實正確的說法應(yīng)該是像這樣, He is dating another girl on the side.或是你可以說 He is dating another girl behind her back.(這個 her 指的是他女朋友的意思)
On the side 這句話你去餐廳用餐時也常用到, 指的是主菜之外的副餐, 比如說 I'd like salad with dressing on the side.就是說我要沙拉和沙拉醬.或是 Would you like a baked potato on the side? 要不要再點一份烤馬鈴薯啊?
3.I am the one-woman kinda man.我是那種從一而終的男人.在美國從一而終的人好像不多, 他們通常從高中就開始交男女朋友, 一直交到結(jié)婚, 中間不知改朝換代過多少次.所以這句話是很難得聽到的.其實我比較常聽的是 one-man woman, 因為看來不論中外, 女生都比男生堅貞一點.kinda在口語中常用, 它是 kind of 的簡寫, kinda man 就是說那樣的男人?？梢允÷圆徽f.還有一種用法叫 We are exclusive.這個 exclusive 指的是排他的意思.所以當一對情侶說, We are exclusive時, 就是說我們心里只有對方一人, 我們都不會再去喜歡上別人.4.Those boys like to hit on me all the time.那些男生老愛找我搭訕.Hit somebody 是說你打某人的意思, 但是 hit on somebody 就不一樣了, hit on somebody 是當作搭訕來解釋.常常電視劇里可以看到, 一個男的跑去跟一個陌生女孩多說了兩句話, 那個女生就說: Are you hitting on me? 你現(xiàn)在是在跟我搭訕嗎? 實在是很有意思。
5.That's the long distance relationship.我和我的情人分隔兩地.一般relationship都是特別指男女朋友之間的關(guān)系, 比如你可以跟你的另一半說, I really appreciate our relationship.就是我很感激我們能夠在一起.Long distance relationship是一種固定用法, 這樣的**我常在廣播中聽到.他們一般情況下不會說成 We live far away from each other.只會說 We have a long distance relationship.再來你可能可以接著說, It's so hard for me.6.You should have chivalry.你應(yīng)該有點紳士風度。
我覺得美國的男生都蠻有風度的, 他們會幫女士開門(這點在美國尤其重要, 因為美國的空氣太乾燥了, 所以去開門常常會觸電 ^__^)會讓 Lady first.這種行為中文叫紳士風度, 但在英文中叫騎士精神(chivalry)
7.I saw you smooching that girl just outside my window.我看到你在我的窗外親那個女孩喔。
Smooch 是一個口語, 它就完全等于大家所熟知的 kiss 這個字.8.I'm all over you.我對你非常地著迷.All over you 就是說對你非常地著迷, 這還有另一種表示方法, 叫 I have a crush on you.這二句都是表達很喜歡某人的意思.All over somebody 還有一個很常用的用法, 我把它翻成“三貼”比如說你去舞廳跳舞, 看到有一對男女跳到三點都貼在一起了, 你就可以跟你的同伴說, Hey, look, the guy is dancing all over the girl.9.I'm over you.我跟你之間完了。
一字之差但是意思完全不同喔.你要是說 I'm over you, 就是說我跟你之間完了, 我不想再和你有任何的瓜葛.這和 I'm all over you 是完全不一樣的。
10.Are you trying to seduce me? 你想要勾引我嗎?
Seduce 就是說你用言語或是行為去勾引某人.這句話在美國派(American Pie)當中有用到過喔!就是其中有一個男生最后找不到伴了, 結(jié)果跑去勾引一個老女人.那個老女人就說了, Are you trying to seduce me?
更好玩的是, 那個男生事后還跟同伴吹牛, “Women are like wine.They only get better with age.” 女人嗎, 就像老酒一樣, 只會越陳越香。

《英語詞匯學》心得
詞匯是構(gòu)成語言的基本要素之一，詞匯對于英語學習者來說，其作用極其重要，可以說是建立每一個學習者英語王國的基石。因此作為英語專業(yè)的專業(yè)必修課之一，《英語詞匯學》一直占有十分重要的地位。但是，從我自己學習的經(jīng)歷來看，詞匯學課程一直都是枯燥無味理論性較強，這種心理一直影響到我現(xiàn)在的教學，一直到現(xiàn)在觀看完張維友教授這些視頻以為，才改變了自己陳陋的看法，給我?guī)砹藰O大的啟發(fā)。
詞匯的記憶對于學習者來說是一大難關(guān)，學生之中很多人會出現(xiàn)這樣的情況：看到單詞知道它怎么念，聽到了也能夠拼寫出來，就是不知道這個單詞是什么意思。我想這會成為英語學習的一大瓶頸。英語詞匯學無疑可以很好的幫助我們很好的解決了這個問題。詞匯學甚至能很好的幫助學習者對高級英語的學習。
通過此次培訓學習，我對英語詞匯學的認識主要有：教師教學機智一定要靈活，在處理問題和矛盾如果不夠成熟、比較沖動，易傷學困生學習英語的積極性；堅決不斷嘗試新的詞匯模式，如果教師自己有所停頓和保留，就不能發(fā)揮其效果，對教師和學生自我認可有一定影響； 教材的選擇一定要全面和精致，一門課程的有趣無趣，很大程度上跟教材的選擇有關(guān)。
老師的講課方式也很重要，老師自身具備扎實的專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)知識和豐富的教學經(jīng)驗，才能知道怎樣使學生很好的接受那些詞匯學知識，更重要的是學生能夠?qū)W到的那些知識應(yīng)用到將來的學習當中。在學習的過程，老師如果像填鴨子似地把知識拋給學生，肯定達不到很好的教學效果。除了讓學生思考外，積極參與討論能讓學生知道自己的觀點存在很大的不足，討論是調(diào)動課堂氣氛，也是讓學生掌握知識的一個很好的一個方式。學生也會享受討論的過程，在每一次思考每一次討論中受益。
總之，在這次培訓學習中，通過自己認真觀看視頻，瀏覽課程資源，參與活動，積極完成作業(yè)，極大的受益于專家的寶貴經(jīng)驗，開闊了視野、學到了知識、增進了交流，受益匪淺。在觀看視頻的過程中，我也看到了張維友教授在《英語詞匯學》教學上的創(chuàng)意。盡管培訓結(jié)束了，但我們的學習還在繼續(xù)，我會盡最大的努力積極投入教學工作。

------英語詞匯學
我從初一開始學習英語，在初一的時候，我的英語成績非常之差，屬于短板科目。我自己在當時也有找原因，發(fā)現(xiàn)主要是詞匯積累不夠，花在詞匯上的時間非常少，個人自覺性也比較弱，沒有自己去背誦單詞。初
二、初三在另外一所學校學習，那時英語老師嚴抓我們背誦單詞和課文，此后，英語成績迅速提升。所以說，從學英語的初始，我就深知詞匯對于英語學習的重要性。
詞匯的記憶對于我們來說是一大難關(guān)，我們之中很多人會出現(xiàn)這樣的情況：看到單詞知道它怎么念，聽到了也能夠拼寫出來，就是不知道這個單詞是什么意思。我想這會成為英語學習的一大瓶頸。英語詞匯學無疑很好的幫助我們很好的解決了這個問題。我們專業(yè)于大三的上學期開了詞匯學這門課，接觸這門課之前，我認為，詞匯學應(yīng)該主要是教授單詞的詞根、詞綴和構(gòu)詞法這方面的知識，上課之后發(fā)現(xiàn)，詞匯學的內(nèi)容比我想象中的要豐富得多。同時。我發(fā)現(xiàn)，詞匯學很好的幫助了我們對高級英語的學習。
記得第一堂詞匯學課上，老師給我們講了許多關(guān)于詞匯的小故事。模糊的記得是有關(guān)于耶穌的小故事。當然，主題是詞匯。課堂氣氛輕松幽默，高度吸引了同學們的注意力。老師的發(fā)音很標準，聲音也比較動聽。詞匯學這門課，在一開始就給了我很大的吸引力。還記得老師在課堂上問我們“word”一詞的定義，后來總結(jié)出了四點：a minimal free from in a language、a sound unity、a unit of meaning、it can function a sentence.說實話，以前從來沒有想過去給一個這樣簡單的單詞下定義，認真思考后，發(fā)現(xiàn)這個從還真不知道該怎么正確的去表述。這讓我們深深的感覺到自身的不足，需要學習的東西還有很多；另一方面，再簡單的東西也有其內(nèi)涵，不可小覷。
構(gòu)詞法無疑是詞匯學的一大重點，英語構(gòu)詞法能夠幫助我們很好的辨別并理解英語，同時也可以在短時間內(nèi)增加我們的詞匯量，英語構(gòu)詞法是學習英語的有效途徑和強有力的“武器”。我想我們在背誦單詞時遇到的很多問題，都可以通過學習構(gòu)詞法而迎刃而解。詞是由形位構(gòu)成的，有的詞只有一個形位，有的詞有兩個形位，有的詞可有三個形位。而形位又可分為兩種，一種是實義形位，一種是語法形位。實義形位是構(gòu)成詞的語義基礎(chǔ)。有的語言學著作將這類形位稱之為自由形位，意指它可以自由存在，作為句中的基本結(jié)構(gòu)單位使用。這種形位相當于詞根。詞根對于單詞的背誦具有重要意義。全面了解詞根的各種意思，許多單詞對于我們來說都可以通過詞根來推斷其意思。當然，這也需要詞綴的輔助。
從這個學期的詞匯學課程中，我收獲了很多，老師的豐富閱歷也讓我們了解了很多課本以外的關(guān)于詞匯學的知識。如果有機會的話，我想我會更加深入的去研究詞匯學這門學科。
