接高校外語專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會通知,2010年高校英語專業(yè)四、八級統(tǒng)測按照“高校英語專業(yè)四、八級考試大綱(2004年新版)”要求進(jìn)行?,F(xiàn)將2010年英語專業(yè)八級(TEM8)和專業(yè)四級(TEM4)測試有關(guān)事項通知如下:
一、考試時間:
專業(yè)八級(TEM8):2010年3月6日(星期六)上午8:30開始 專業(yè)四級(TEM4):2010年4月17日(星期六)上午8:30開始
二、報名對象:
專業(yè)四級(TEM4):英語專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段學(xué)生,具體如下:
(1)2007級英語高職生、2008級英語本科生、2007級英語本科生補考生
(2)2009級成人脫產(chǎn)英語本科生(在籍成人脫產(chǎn)學(xué)生)
專業(yè)八級(TEM8):英語專業(yè)四年級學(xué)生,具體如下:
(1)2006級英語本科
(2)2007級、2008級成人脫產(chǎn)英語本科生 說明:
1、TEM4補考生指2009年參加過TEM4考試但未通過2007級英語本科生,TEM8補考生指2009年參加TEM8考試但未通過2007級成人脫產(chǎn)英語本科生。
2、成人脫產(chǎn)英語(3+2)本科生可在升入本科后的第一年以補考生身份參加一次TEM4統(tǒng)測,但僅此一次機(jī)會,不再順延;在畢業(yè)當(dāng)年可以正??忌矸輩⒓覶EM8統(tǒng)測,并可在次年補考一次。
3、以上補考僅一次機(jī)會,不參加作自動放棄,補考機(jī)會不順延。
4、高校英語專業(yè)四、八級統(tǒng)測是一種教學(xué)檢查,英語本科四年級學(xué)生即使未通過TEM4也可報考TEM8。
三、收費標(biāo)準(zhǔn):專業(yè)四級、八級均為65元/人
四、報名方法:學(xué)生以班級為單位上報至班主任處,班主任將報名信息以及費用交至教學(xué)辦203辦公室。

其實由于每個人的具體情況不同,沒有辦法給你制定具體幾點到幾點的復(fù)習(xí)計劃。我也曾是個英語專業(yè)生,專業(yè)四級花了很多精力,老實說真的很難,要是想在一 兩個月內(nèi)有很大的提高不太可能,當(dāng)然,要看你的英語基礎(chǔ)了。但我覺得我的復(fù)習(xí)方法有的你還時可以借鑒的,你可以看看,希望有所幫助。怎么將這么多內(nèi)容的復(fù)習(xí)融為一體呢。制定一個詳細(xì)的復(fù)習(xí)計劃就變的非常必要 了。造我看來,復(fù)習(xí)切忌拉長線。雖然我剛剛說四年級的同學(xué)已經(jīng)可以開始復(fù)習(xí)了,但那個復(fù)習(xí)實際上只是基本功的準(zhǔn)備。準(zhǔn)備的太早,既浪費了時間,也沒有 達(dá)到理想的效果。真正的復(fù)習(xí)備考一般在考試前的半年或一年。具體分為六個階 段:
一. 摸底階段。所謂知己知彼,百戰(zhàn)百勝。在開始復(fù)習(xí)前首先了解自己的英語 狀況是非常必要的。建議找一篇最新的四級試卷,嚴(yán)格的按照考試要求做一遍,注意卡時間。然后按照參考答案自己給自己改卷子,看看你到底能得多少分,每 個部分各得了多少分,正確率是多少。通過這樣的測試,你可以真切知道自己的 優(yōu)劣點在那里,從而做到有的放矢。要是第一次做卷子的結(jié)果很不好,也不要灰 心,要知道,復(fù)習(xí)才剛剛開始,在兩個月的密集復(fù)習(xí)中,你的成績會有很大的提 高的。二. 各個擊破階段。在開始做一套套的試卷前,先對每個單項進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練。給自 己制定一個詳細(xì)的時間表,比如說星期一干什么,星期二干什么。更甚者,具體 到早上干什么,下午晚上干什么。這樣,復(fù)習(xí)起來就會非常有目的性,不會盲目 了。記住,你的時間表一定要針對自己的作息時間和生活規(guī)律,如果早上比較清 醒,就做一些需要集中注意力的項目,比如說聽力。還有,今日事,今日畢,每 天制定的任務(wù)一定要完成,千萬不要把今天的任務(wù)放到明天做,否則打亂了復(fù)習(xí)計劃,對你今后的復(fù)習(xí)有影響。在完成了當(dāng)天的任務(wù)后,可以適當(dāng)?shù)姆潘桑{(diào)試 一下心情。此外,每個星期,按照考試要求做一整套試卷,檢驗各個單項部分做 題的效果,這個階段大概是兩個月。三. 專項訓(xùn)練階段。進(jìn)行了一段時間的單項訓(xùn)練后,每個部分的優(yōu)劣點進(jìn)一步 明顯。這時針對弱點的專項訓(xùn)練就非常有必要了。在每天復(fù)習(xí)的四個小時(或者 更長時間中),挪出一半的時間進(jìn)行有針對的練習(xí),仔細(xì)體會做題的技巧,理解 參考答案的詳細(xì)解釋。另外,把做錯的題都做上記號,以便以后進(jìn)行回顧復(fù)習(xí)。注意,在這個階段中,其他單項的訓(xùn)練仍然繼續(xù),只是根據(jù)自己的具體情況進(jìn)行 了增加或減少。每個星期一套的試卷也繼續(xù)練習(xí),以保持對考試的整體感覺。這 個階段為兩個月。四. 集中攻關(guān)階段。在進(jìn)行了單項訓(xùn)練和專項訓(xùn)練后,接下來要做的就是對試 卷的整體把握。最好的方法還是做試卷。之前雖然一星期也有做一套試卷,但強 度還是不夠的。在最后的三個月里,要大量的做歷年的考試真題和模擬題。這里 所說的做題不光是做題,還要把你做過的每道題都弄懂弄透,做到融會貫通,舉 一反三。做題時還是要根以前一樣,嚴(yán)格按照考試要求來,一次做完一整套試卷,再檢驗結(jié)果,標(biāo)上正確率和分?jǐn)?shù)。這個階段大概也是三個月。
五. 補充復(fù)習(xí)階段。距離考試的最后一個月,不要再去做新的試題,我想在之 前的復(fù)習(xí)中你已經(jīng)做的足夠多了。這個月你要做的就是將之前所做的各種練習(xí)拿 出來仔細(xì)看一遍。因為你以前犯過的錯誤很有可能再犯一遍,看錯題實際上就在 復(fù)習(xí)新題。六. 大玩特完階段??荚嚨那耙惶熘吝M(jìn)考場的前一分鐘,不要再思考關(guān)于考試 的任何事情(當(dāng)然不包括準(zhǔn)備考試用具),做你最想做的事情或者做能讓你放松 的事情,比如上網(wǎng),聽歌啊??荚嚂r心態(tài)很重要,以完全放松的狀態(tài)去考試結(jié)果 是最好的。有很多同學(xué)再考試之前準(zhǔn)備很充分,但進(jìn)了考場就懵了,這樣當(dāng)然不 會考出好成績。切記在考試前不要問自己或周圍同學(xué)關(guān)于作文題目啊,單詞拼寫 這類的問題,也不要去回答別人這樣的問題,只要相信自己就好了。否則,你會 突然發(fā)現(xiàn)自己有好多單詞不會寫,作文也不知道怎么寫,對自己的自信心是一個 強烈的打擊。

Books are close friends of humanity.They can arm us with knowledge and information we need to make success of life.Through books we can obtain skills and techniques for survival and development.Through books we can enlighten our spirits and live a fuller life.There are generally two ways in which we can have access to books: borrowing or buying.While millions are borrowing books, I still think buying them best suits me and gives me the greatest enjoyment.Admittedly, there are a few merits for borrowing books.For one thing, borrowing books can save us huge amounts of money.And of course, with the money saved we can do other more worthy things.And also, as we borrow books from the library and friends, we normally have deadline to finish them, and consequently we can read more books in a limited time.And we can, above all, better our efficiency of our reading, just as a famous Chinese saying goes, “books can not be read unless borrowed.”
However, some advantages for buying books are more obvious and compelling.One of them, definitely not shared by the choice of borrowing books, is the abundance of freedom that buying books can offer us.Since we can keep the books as long as we wish, we can read as much as we want.Another strength of owing books is that we can take whatever notes on the margin of the pages of the books.And finally, the process of selecting and keeping books can be a great fun that borrowing books can by no means offer.While borrowing books can, to some extent, quench our thirst for knowledge, buying books gives us greater pleasure of selecting and keeping the best of the world treasure.Can we think of any thing else more delightful and rewarding?
18.TV—Blessing or Curse?
Few things in the modern world have so much influence on people as the television does.Being besieged with TV news, absorbing teleplays, well-masterminded programmes, one can easily conclude that TV is a real blessing to the human society, offering affluent entertainment and information.Yet, convenient and helpful as it is, the television also brings negative effects.To begin with, TV makes people more passive than before: since everything on TV is ready-made, there is no space for audience’s initiatives.The news has been carefully edited, teleplays well shot, programmes rehearsed, so all you need to do—and all you can do is to sit on a comfortable sofa and look at the screen.Though a lot of people enjoy doing this, the undoubted truth is that people are becoming more passive simply because there is no interaction and no efforts on them.Television also contributes to the fact that people nowadays are more distant to each other.Since most of our free time is taken away by the act of watching TV, we can no longer find enough time to visit friends, call on relatives or go to interesting places.This is also true within a family, parents and children and other members are less close to each other, because family get-togethers and conversations are disturbed by TV—when one member is watching TV, he would like others to keep quiet.Of course I am not denying the great conveniences and huge benefits the TV brings us, but to make it a really blessing to us, we should try to avoid its negative effects.
