第一篇：用英語故事來學(xué)習(xí)英語的范例

故事一：fla——g！

時(shí)間：1997年

地點(diǎn)：邢臺(tái)某私立學(xué)校，教室內(nèi)

人物：我的第一個(gè)英語老師Mr.許、我我在向別人介紹我的英語學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷時(shí)，一般這樣開頭，“I began learning English in 1997,when I was a grade-three pupil”。是的，那是1997年，那時(shí)我剛上三年級(jí)。97年的夏天，我轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)到了邢臺(tái)市的一所私立學(xué)校，開始上三年級(jí)。學(xué)校條件不錯(cuò)，從小學(xué)三年級(jí)開始開設(shè)英語。我的第一個(gè)英語老師，姓名我現(xiàn)在還記著，叫許**，這里稱他為Mr.許吧，一個(gè)上年紀(jì)的老師，頭發(fā)有點(diǎn)白。印象中每次上課他總是提著一個(gè)銀白色的錄音機(jī)走進(jìn)教室，給我們放英語兒歌用的。那個(gè)時(shí)候，英語課的性質(zhì)和大多小學(xué)中都有開設(shè)的美術(shù)、音樂、體育等等“玩?！鳖愓n程是一樣的，每周也就一兩堂英語課。所以可以想象，小學(xué)的英語課氛圍是很輕松的，雖然Mr.許有時(shí)候很嚴(yán)厲。我記得，Mr.許愛指著某個(gè)具體的東西然后讓我們在最快時(shí)間內(nèi)說出相應(yīng)的英語單詞，他也是這樣教我們記單詞的：他會(huì)伸出食指指著窗外的五星紅旗，教我們讀：fla——g....fla——g！

故事二：S-H-A-R-P-E-N-E-R

時(shí)間：2000年

地點(diǎn)：邢臺(tái)某私立學(xué)校，操場上

人物：我的同學(xué)、我2000年我已經(jīng)升入初中了，當(dāng)時(shí)還在那所學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)。由于小學(xué)三、四、五年級(jí)，像上美術(shù)、音樂、體育課一樣上了三年英語課，所以基礎(chǔ)有了點(diǎn)，英語學(xué)習(xí)的這顆苗種在體內(nèi)了，算是萌芽了吧。

初中英語老師是一個(gè)剛畢業(yè)的學(xué)英語專業(yè)的年輕人，叫路**，Mr.路。初中了，英語課地位得到了大大提升，和語文、數(shù)學(xué)并列成為了三大主課。記得初一剛開學(xué)的第一個(gè)晚自習(xí)，Mr.路把初一兩個(gè)班的所有同學(xué)叫到一塊，給大家上了初中的第一堂英語課。具體內(nèi)容已經(jīng)記不清了，貌似是他給我們展望了初中的新學(xué)習(xí)新生活，給了我們一篇英語短文，里面有一個(gè)單詞，是dormitory，這個(gè)單詞對于初一的新生來說夠難記吧？Mr.路發(fā)這個(gè)單詞時(shí)候我聽的是“搗米錘”，也許這個(gè)英文發(fā)音對應(yīng)的漢字就是“搗米錘”，反正我記住了，宿舍，就是“搗米錘”。

從初一開始，英語課的負(fù)擔(dān)就大了許多，這不僅體現(xiàn)在上英語課的頻率上、作業(yè)數(shù)量上，連早自習(xí)的時(shí)間一半也分給了英語。Mr.路讓我們?nèi)ゲ賵錾媳秤⒄Z課文和單詞，他對我們的背誦要求異常嚴(yán)格，而那個(gè)時(shí)候還沒有能飛視聽學(xué)習(xí)軟件能

故事三：SARS、AIDS

時(shí)間：2003年

地點(diǎn)：學(xué)校

人物：我2003年的SARS，讓我多了認(rèn)識(shí)一個(gè)英語縮略詞的機(jī)會(huì)，這個(gè)詞就是SARS，它的中文全稱是 嚴(yán)重急性呼吸道綜合征吧？英文全稱是Severe Acute Respirotary Syndrome。是怎么記住這個(gè)全稱的呢？大概是好奇和敏感。對單詞，要保持一種好奇和敏感。這樣你就會(huì)不知不覺地積累好多單詞，可能還是書本上沒有的單詞，沒關(guān)系，只要你感興趣。再比如：高中時(shí)有一次課件在操場上轉(zhuǎn)悠，見到一張英文報(bào)紙吧，好像是英語輔導(dǎo)報(bào)，在地方躺著，上面好像有一篇介紹AIDS的科普類的文章，有AIDS的完整形式，即Acute Immune Deficiency Symptoms，中文意思大概是急性免疫缺陷綜合征。我拿起那張報(bào)紙，盯著AIDS的全稱看了一會(huì)，努力記下，那時(shí)想記多少算多少，回去可以再查詞典核實(shí)自己記的對不對。說到這里，想起了初中英語老師Mr.路給我在作業(yè)本批改時(shí)寫過的一句話：不是你學(xué)了多是，而是你記了多少。英語學(xué)習(xí)，一開始，尤其是初中那會(huì)，打基礎(chǔ)的時(shí)候，一定要下功夫記，只是理解貌似不夠，因?yàn)槟阋獮橐院蟠蚧A(chǔ)，一定要有一些原始的東西，永遠(yuǎn)地銘記在腦中。

某位老師曾說過“我不要求你死記，但是我要求你一定要記死。”

這句話，有意思。

故事四：3 years of keeping English diaries

時(shí)間：2003.8.15——2006.8.1

5地點(diǎn)：學(xué)校

人物：我2003年暑假，剛中考完，整天在家，用現(xiàn)在的詞說，是標(biāo)準(zhǔn)宅男。偶爾有一天，閑來無事，在一個(gè)本子上用英語寫了幾句話，標(biāo)注了那天的日期：2003.8.15。第二天，突然有一種接著寫些英語句子的想法，心中有個(gè)長遠(yuǎn)的目標(biāo)，要是天天堅(jiān)持寫幾年，該有多好。于是，就這樣，一天天地堅(jiān)持。有時(shí)候會(huì)因?yàn)槊驅(qū)嵲跓o事可寫，會(huì)一拖好幾天，但是周末時(shí)總會(huì)找出些時(shí)間，一篇一篇補(bǔ)回來。就這樣，寫這些英語日記類的東西，有時(shí)候?qū)懞芏?，有時(shí)候只有幾句，我用了大大小小的筆記本不到10個(gè)。2006年的暑假，第一次高考結(jié)束在家，日記寫到8.15，整整3年。這是我的一段關(guān)于寫英語日記的經(jīng)歷，留下了一摞筆記本，里面內(nèi)容是或清晰或潦草的英語句子。

故事五：antidisestablishmentarianism

時(shí)間：高中時(shí)

地點(diǎn)：教室

人物：英語老師Mr,周、我高中的英語老師姓周，就叫Mr.周吧。Mr.周是一個(gè)很能侃的老師，課堂上講英語試題，提到某種東西或某個(gè)事件時(shí)，總能給我“普及”知識(shí)很長時(shí)間。他會(huì)給我們唱幾句Amazing grace，“Amazing grace,how sweet the song.That saved a wretch like me,I once was lost,but now am found,was blind,but now I see”。他給我們舉這樣的例句來讓我們學(xué)習(xí)it的一種特殊用法，這個(gè)例句是這樣的：I like it when I kiss her.（我喜歡親吻她的那種時(shí)刻。）他常常反復(fù)用升調(diào)讀這個(gè)句子：Do still remember one afternoon ten years ago when I came to your house and borrowed a diamond necklace of yours?，目的是讓我們記住一般疑問句要讀升調(diào)。當(dāng)然，印象最深刻的是他給了我一個(gè)目前我一直記著的很長很長的單詞：antidisestablishmentarianism,這個(gè)詞是什么意思呢？他說的我記不清了，大意是 反對反對把某種宗教作為國教之主義，即反對政教分離主義。這個(gè)單詞本身沒什么意思，記這個(gè)也沒多大用，但是仔細(xì)拆分一下，可以學(xué)學(xué)一些構(gòu)詞法的知識(shí)：anti+dis+establish+ment+arian+ism。

故事六：Olympics brings China...時(shí)間：2007年12月——2008年4月

地點(diǎn)：唐山、石家莊

人物：我Olympics brings China...？這是我在大學(xué)期間參加的第一次英語演講比賽的題目。我的題目是Olympics brings China excitement.那次比賽是中央電視臺(tái)2008年度迎奧運(yùn)希望英語風(fēng)采大賽。最初是在唐山參加了初賽，鄰近放寒假的時(shí)候得知自己通過了初賽，可以參加下一年的省賽，大概是4月份在省會(huì)石家莊舉行。我一直覺得這得歸于我為初賽做的充足準(zhǔn)備吧，初賽的演講稿即Olympics brings China excitement 我背了不下20遍吧。學(xué)英語，背或許是最艱苦卻也最有效的。

后來，我參加了唐山市三校（唐山學(xué)院、唐山師范學(xué)院、河北理工大學(xué)輕工學(xué)院）

聯(lián)合迎奧運(yùn)英語口語風(fēng)采大賽，獲得了一等獎(jiǎng)。2008年的下半年，參加了2008年CCTV杯英語演講大賽，這是全國最有影響力的英語演講比賽。當(dāng)時(shí)進(jìn)入了省賽，即河北省世紀(jì)之星高校英語演講比賽，這也是全省范圍內(nèi)最有影響力的高校英語演講比賽，高手很多。

后來的后來，參加了2009年全國大學(xué)生英語競賽，初賽是筆試，復(fù)賽是在河北師大舉行，分為筆試和口試，很幸運(yùn)也進(jìn)入了最后的全國總決賽，這不是考試，而是夏令營性質(zhì)的，地點(diǎn)在西安科技大學(xué)，我們在那里度過了大約一周的時(shí)間。除了欣賞美麗的西安和兵馬俑，當(dāng)然也有英語學(xué)習(xí)交流活動(dòng)和競賽，這些對我來說就是重在參與了?？傊?，那次是不錯(cuò)的回憶。

后來的后來的后來，我也參加了2010年的全國大學(xué)生英語競賽，結(jié)果也過了初賽、復(fù)賽，進(jìn)入了最后的全國總決賽，只是當(dāng)時(shí)的暑假是大三和大四之間的，因?yàn)橐獪?zhǔn)備考研而放棄了去青島參加的機(jī)會(huì)，不覺得后悔，因?yàn)?009年我已經(jīng)參與過。

這些比賽，是我印象最深刻的幾次英語比賽，名次有高有低，結(jié)果有好有壞，過程unforgettable。

故事七：Seasons in the sun

時(shí)間：2007年---

地點(diǎn)：everywhere

人物：many

Seasons in the sun是我第一首認(rèn)認(rèn)真真聽、認(rèn)認(rèn)真真地學(xué)唱的一首歌。我在大一參加系學(xué)生會(huì)面試的時(shí)候還對著臺(tái)下唱了這首歌。

后來還聽了眾多英語歌，學(xué)了眾多英語歌，只是能唱出來的很少了。

英語歌曲和電影是學(xué)習(xí)英語的絕佳素材，是發(fā)現(xiàn)英語魅力的地方。

綜上所述，其實(shí)學(xué)習(xí)英語也是一個(gè)很有趣的過程，只要細(xì)心體味，就能品嘗出來。

聾啞英語：“中國牛糞”的奇恥大辱

“為什么狗頭牌罐頭這么難吃？”剛到美國半年的劉克亞覺得在超市里剛買的食物雖然省錢，但實(shí)在難以下咽。這時(shí)，剛進(jìn)門的一位華裔朋友驚呼起來：“你怎么吃狗食呢？”他才恍然大悟，因?yàn)榭床欢⒄Z說明，再次吃了苦頭。1991年，26歲的劉克亞以576分的托福成績赴紐約大學(xué)攻讀化學(xué)博士學(xué)位。國內(nèi)十多年英語的錘煉，曾使這位中國科大的畢業(yè)生自命不凡。可他怎么也沒有想到，到了美國，他的嘴巴耳朵卻一起失靈，中國式英語口音常成為美國老師同學(xué)的笑柄，背了很多英文但卻無法遣詞造句。他無法給美國學(xué)生做助教，只能默默地做最低級(jí)的化學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)示范員的工作。一次“牛糞”事件的奇恥大辱徹底改變了他的一生……

“Bullshit！”當(dāng)著500多名美國大學(xué)生的面，紐約大學(xué)化學(xué)系主任痛斥劉克亞。因?yàn)榛瘜W(xué)藥品有問題，實(shí)驗(yàn)效果不明顯，他把所有的怒氣都發(fā)泄到示范員頭上。″What？(什么)″在講臺(tái)上急得滿頭大汗的劉克亞又多了一個(gè)新麻煩———不知教授何意?！錣ouChineseBullshit！″系主任更加惱羞成怒。當(dāng)時(shí)，學(xué)生中的華裔移民大叫：“是牛糞！他罵你牛糞！”劉克亞這才明白自己被罵作是“中國牛糞”。

“你可以批評(píng)我的無知，但你不能侮辱我！”他憤怒得要命，但他只能在心中默默地吶喊，無法用英語直抒胸臆。面對500多名美國學(xué)生，他非常尷尬，真想沖上去揍系主任一頓，但是他最終強(qiáng)忍怒火！因?yàn)樗?dāng)時(shí)的命運(yùn)操縱在系主任的手里，每月從主任那里領(lǐng)取1000美金的助學(xué)金。強(qiáng)烈的恥辱感使他痛下決心：“我一定要學(xué)好英語！我一定要改變自己的命運(yùn)！我一定不能因?yàn)檎Z言的障礙在美國無法創(chuàng)造個(gè)人的輝煌！”

突破英語：從百老匯走進(jìn)

美國第一商學(xué)院

劉克亞從可憐的生活費(fèi)中擠出錢來聘請一位好萊塢退休演員和一位電臺(tái)主持人做他的口語老師，用每小時(shí)20美元的學(xué)費(fèi)請英語家教，很多中國留學(xué)生都覺得在花冤枉錢，但他卻學(xué)得不亦樂乎。他的進(jìn)步特別快，熱心的老師建議他去世界戲劇的最高殿堂———百老匯劇院學(xué)即興表演，這種表演必須用英文去表現(xiàn)自己感染觀眾，實(shí)現(xiàn)溝通與思維同速。

十多年“聾啞英語”的困境、死記硬背、一曝十寒的陋習(xí)被迅速突破，劉克亞找到了事半功倍的方法：美國口音是關(guān)鍵！造句能力是核心！肢體語言是基礎(chǔ)！自我管理是保障！

接到錄取通知書后的劉克亞第一個(gè)想到的是紐約大學(xué)化學(xué)系主任，他當(dāng)面向主任提出退學(xué)，主任特別吃驚，“中國牛糞”竟然考入了美國競爭最激烈的商學(xué)院！在紐約大學(xué)，因?yàn)檎Z言實(shí)力和經(jīng)濟(jì)能力的限制，他從沒有見過任何一個(gè)中國留學(xué)生能這么做、敢這么做。系主任從劉克亞身上看出：中國人不只是他的廉價(jià)勞動(dòng)力，他們也有自己的選擇，在掌握英語后他們完全可以去掌控自己的命運(yùn)。
