Endowment insurance就是“養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)”，我國(guó)有三種不同的養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)體系，分別為basic endowment insurance for the urban working group（城鎮(zhèn)職工基本養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)）、new rural social endowment insurance for rural residents（新型農(nóng)村社會(huì)養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)），以及social endowment insurance for non-working urban residents（針對(duì)城鎮(zhèn)無(wú)業(yè)人員的社會(huì)養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)）。三個(gè)體系中的premium（繳費(fèi)）和領(lǐng)到的pension（養(yǎng)老金）也有所不同。

《辦法》提出，只要繳費(fèi)滿15年，參保人員無(wú)論是從新農(nóng)保或城居保轉(zhuǎn)入職保，還是從職保轉(zhuǎn)入新農(nóng)保或城居保，都將個(gè)人賬戶（individual accounts）全部?jī)?chǔ)存額隨同轉(zhuǎn)移，包括government subsidies（政府補(bǔ)貼）。

我們平時(shí)所說(shuō)的“五險(xiǎn)一金”除了endowment insurance（養(yǎng)老保險(xiǎn)）外，還有medical insurance（醫(yī)療保險(xiǎn)）、unemployment insurance（失業(yè)保險(xiǎn)）、employment injury insurance（工傷保險(xiǎn)）、maternity insurance（生育保險(xiǎn)），以及 housing fund（住房公積金）。

3月15日，北京電影學(xué)院在網(wǎng)上公布了2012年本科招生各專(zhuān)業(yè)方向考試合格考生榜單。作為最受關(guān)注的藝考學(xué)校，北電的專(zhuān)業(yè)考試每年都會(huì)成為藝術(shù)考試的焦點(diǎn)，今年更是出現(xiàn)了1.8萬(wàn)人報(bào)考的“盛況”，這無(wú)疑使人感受到了藝考的灼熱程度。據(jù)了解，近年來(lái)，高等藝術(shù)專(zhuān)業(yè)考試持續(xù)升溫，藝術(shù)專(zhuān)業(yè)招考比例超過(guò)了百里挑一。

翻譯: 第一版本：親愛(ài)的公民們 第二版本：各位同胞們

點(diǎn)評(píng)：開(kāi)場(chǎng)稱(chēng)呼中最后的fellow citizens，第一個(gè)版本譯成“親愛(ài)的公民們”，第二個(gè)版本譯成“各位同胞們”。第一個(gè)版本增加“親愛(ài)的”，似乎是為了跟前面的“尊敬的”對(duì)應(yīng)，其實(shí)沒(méi)有必要。另外，用“公民”遠(yuǎn)沒(méi)有“同胞”好，因?yàn)椤肮瘛睕](méi)有包涵“fellow”的意思，而“同胞”卻包涵了。第二個(gè)版本的“各位同胞們”有小小語(yǔ)病，“各位”強(qiáng)調(diào)單個(gè)，“們”強(qiáng)調(diào)集體，選擇其一即可，在這兒，沿用原文復(fù)數(shù)用“同胞們”足矣。

（二）英文原文：

第一版本：1776年，美國(guó)的愛(ài)國(guó)先驅(qū)們不是只為了推翻國(guó)王的暴政而戰(zhàn)，也不是為贏得少數(shù)人的特權(quán)，建立暴民的統(tǒng)治。先驅(qū)們留給我們一個(gè)共和國(guó)，一個(gè)民有、民治、民享的政府。他們委托每一代美國(guó)人捍衛(wèi)我們的建國(guó)信條。

第二版本：1776年的愛(ài)國(guó)者并不是推翻了暴君的獨(dú)裁或極權(quán)，而是給予我們一個(gè)共和國(guó)，一個(gè)民有、民治、民享的政府。

原句結(jié)構(gòu)較復(fù)雜，第一種譯文拆解了，意思更為清晰。但“贏得少數(shù)人的特權(quán)”和“建立暴民的統(tǒng)治”之間，最好還是保留“或者”，因?yàn)檫@兩者不是并列的，是兩種互相排斥的可能性。重復(fù)從句的主語(yǔ)，如“先驅(qū)們”，對(duì)于演講是十分必要的。

第二種譯文充其量只能算摘譯，更糟糕的是，壓縮后的意思出了差錯(cuò)?！安⒉皇峭品吮┚莫?dú)裁或極權(quán)”跟原句的意思很不同，原句的意思簡(jiǎn)單說(shuō)，是“先輩們不是為了少數(shù)人特權(quán)或暴民統(tǒng)治而推翻一個(gè)君主的暴政”。他們是“推翻了”英國(guó)君主在美國(guó)的統(tǒng)治。

（三）英文原文：

原句中的兩種流血方式，前者暗指奴隸制，后者指戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，第一種譯文翻譯得既準(zhǔn)確又生動(dòng)。第二種譯文不僅壓縮了，而且用“無(wú)法建立”取代“無(wú)法維持”，在意思上也是不準(zhǔn)的。

（四）英文原文：

We understand that outworn programs are inadequate to the needs of our time.第一版本：我們知道，我們已然陳舊的程序不足以滿足時(shí)代的需要。第二版本：我們明白，一些陳腐的計(jì)劃如今已經(jīng)不再公平。

這里的“programs”是指美國(guó)政府的各種花錢(qián)項(xiàng)目，譯為“程序”屬于不解，譯為“計(jì)劃”有點(diǎn)不清楚，可譯成“政府項(xiàng)目”。但“不再公平”屬于引申，“不足以滿足時(shí)代的需要”是對(duì)的。

（五）英文原文：

But we reject the belief that America must choose between caring for the generation that built this country and investing in the generation that will build its future.第一版本：但我們拒絕在照顧建設(shè)國(guó)家的這一代和投資即將建設(shè)國(guó)家的下一代間做出選擇。第二版本：我們拒絕相信，美國(guó)必須在照顧老年一代和培育下一代中只能選其一。

這句英文很清楚，很生動(dòng)，但直譯過(guò)來(lái)有點(diǎn)拗口。而且，“做出選擇”不如“只能選其一”來(lái)得準(zhǔn)確明了。第二種版本的壓縮翻譯要比逐字翻譯更為合適。

（六）英文原文：

Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law – for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well.第一版本：我們的征途不會(huì)終結(jié)，我們要讓同性戀的兄弟姐妹在法律之下得到與其他人同樣的待遇。如果我們真正是生而平等的，那么我們對(duì)彼此的愛(ài)也應(yīng)該是平等的。

第二版本：我們的旅程不會(huì)結(jié)束，直到同性戀的兄弟姐妹像其它人一樣在法律上被視為公平。這段是排比句，第一種譯文一直用“直到……”，這句突然不用，有點(diǎn)奇怪。但是，它將被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)翻譯成主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，“得到同樣待遇”要比“被視為公平”順口得多。
