My life's work — studying stars
When I was about eight,I got a book about stars.That was the beginning of my life's work.When I was young,I did not use to have much money.I could not buy expensivethings,but I had my eyes.I used to go outside every night to look at the stars.
There are billions ofstars in the sky — but you can only see about 3,000 with your own eyes.
Get a map of the stars and begin to find your way throughthe sky.In different seasons,you can see different groups of stars.The shapes of these groups never change.It is easy to learn the name of each group.When you know these,you may start to look at the stars inside each group.Not all stars are the same.Some are big,and some are small.Some look white,some look red and some look blue.
Sometimes,you may see a star move.However,if you see it move from one group to another,then it is not a star but a planet.You are able to see Venus and Jupiter easily.They are both very bright.It is easy to see Mars,too.It looks red.You will soon begin to learn more and more about the stars.Then you will want to find out even more about them.
Taking photographs
A photographer can have a very interesting life.Norman Parkinson was a famous English photographer.He liked travelling to interestingplaces and taking photographs.It was his hobby as well as his job.
Taking photographs is a favourite hobby of many people all over the world.It can help us rememberthings.We all love to take photographs of each other,especiallywhen we travel to new places.We also like to have a photograph of everybody in the group together.When we want to be in the picture,we need to ask someone to take the photograph for us.
Having photographs is important because people and places always change.It is very sad,for example,if children cannot look at photographs of their parents or grandparents.What did Grandfather look like? Where did he use to live? If we do not have photographs,children may not know the answers to these questions.Photographs help us know and understand our history.
This picture is more than fifty years old.Guangzhou later held the Chinese Export Commodities Fair in this building.Do you think the old picture helps us remember life in the past?
What are your hobbies?
CHEN YUI collectstamps.I have about 1,500 stamps from all over the world.Ben gives me American ones and I get British ones from Sally.Six weeks ago,a boy from Holland gave me some stamps from his country.In my stamp album,I usually put the stamps from each country together.I also collect stamps with sports on them.I put these on a special page.Collecting stamps is fun and interesting.
ZHEN HUIFishing is fun,too.Fishing takes you to beautiful places.You can catch fish in small rivers,big lakes or the sea.You can go with friends or,if you like,you can go alone.You can make a lot of new friends when you go fishing.You can catch fish with just a net,or with a long piece of string,a hook and some bread.Everybody gets excited when someone catches a big fish.Catching fish is great fun,but eating them is even better!
WANG GANGMaking models is my favourite hobby.I have made a few model planes.At the weekend,I fly my planes at a park near my home.If they crash,I have to mend them.I like mending things.It teaches me a lot about real planes.

一、說教材
本單元主要內(nèi)容是談?wù)撐锲返奈恢?。通過詢問物品的位置,學(xué)生們將學(xué)習(xí)一些有關(guān)家居物品的單詞,以及on、in、under等方位介詞的用法,學(xué)習(xí)并掌握where引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句及其答語。學(xué)習(xí)人稱代詞they的用法。使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)基本句型“Where’s/ Where’re..? It’s/ They’re on/in/under...”學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用方位介詞“on/in/under”來表達(dá)物品的位置。通過以上的學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用聽關(guān)鍵詞、推測詞意的學(xué)習(xí)策略,識(shí)別不同物品的位置。這樣既能讓學(xué)生了解自己的家居環(huán)境,熱愛自己的家,又能促使學(xué)生通過想象來設(shè)計(jì)自己理想中的房間和對(duì)好的生活習(xí)慣的重新認(rèn)識(shí)。
二、說學(xué)情
本課的對(duì)象是剛進(jìn)初中不久的七年級(jí)新生,他們好動(dòng)、好奇、好表現(xiàn),有部分學(xué)生小學(xué)并沒有學(xué)過英語,他們對(duì)英語有著極大的興趣和好奇心。教師應(yīng)該抓住這個(gè)有利因素,注重對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語興趣的培養(yǎng),保持他們強(qiáng)烈的好奇心和旺盛的求知欲。因此,教師在教學(xué)過程中要精心設(shè)計(jì)各種教學(xué)活動(dòng),積極采用新穎、豐富多彩的教學(xué)手段來激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,用興趣來激活他們的思維能力,喚起他們的學(xué)習(xí)注意力,進(jìn)而充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和主動(dòng)性,讓他們積極參與到教學(xué)中去。另一方面要?jiǎng)?chuàng)造條件和機(jī)會(huì),讓學(xué)生有機(jī)會(huì)表現(xiàn)自己,享受成功的喜悅,從而增強(qiáng)他們對(duì)英語學(xué)習(xí)的自信心,在學(xué)習(xí)過程中發(fā)展綜合語言應(yīng)用能力。讓他們真正成為一堂課的主人。七年級(jí)英語教學(xué)是整個(gè)初中英語教學(xué)的基礎(chǔ),讓學(xué)生邁好英語學(xué)習(xí)的第一步,對(duì)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的能力和促進(jìn)學(xué)生的個(gè)性發(fā)展有著很大的幫助。

Where’s my schoolbag? It’s on/in/under/behind/next to the chair.2、學(xué)習(xí)和掌握有關(guān)家具類的單詞:table, bed, bookcase, keys,books , sofa ,chair ,schoolbag
3、學(xué)會(huì)三個(gè)方位介詞的用法:on ,in , under 能力目標(biāo):學(xué)會(huì)詢問物品的位置和確認(rèn)物品的位置;能夠運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行簡單的會(huì)話。
情感目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)愛整潔的習(xí)慣和幫助他人的優(yōu)良品德。
四、說教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 重點(diǎn):
1、熟練拼寫和運(yùn)用家居物品名稱:where, table, chair, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, on, under等詞。
2、通過使用方位介詞“on/in/under”表達(dá)物品的位置及學(xué)習(xí)“Where……”和“It’s……的用法,使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用特殊疑問句和陳述句。難點(diǎn):
Where問句和方位介詞on,in,under的用法。
五、說教法
在整個(gè)教學(xué)過程中我采用情景教學(xué)法、多媒體輔助教學(xué)法、合作學(xué)習(xí)法、小組競賽法、交際法和任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)式教學(xué)法等教學(xué)方法進(jìn)行教學(xué)。通過設(shè)置一些情景,讓學(xué)生自己完成任務(wù)來學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)、掌握技能。這種方法對(duì)于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析問題、解決問題的能力,激發(fā)和維持學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性等有著獨(dú)特的優(yōu)勢。因此,在教學(xué)過程中,我所要求學(xué)生掌握的內(nèi)容都是通過一個(gè)個(gè)任務(wù)來進(jìn)行,由易到難,由簡到繁,讓學(xué)生在不知不覺完成任務(wù)的過程中學(xué)到知識(shí)以興趣吸引人,以情感培育人,以評(píng)價(jià)激勵(lì)人、以活動(dòng)促進(jìn)人。

在本節(jié)課上,教師教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)合理,容量大,重難點(diǎn)突出。在英語聽、說、讀寫四個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)上,均有所體現(xiàn),遵循了聽說領(lǐng)先,讀寫跟上的教學(xué)原則。在聽說教學(xué)上落實(shí)得還可以,到了讀寫的時(shí)候明顯有走過場的痕跡,但是,教師充分發(fā)揮在情境中教學(xué),逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生去感悟,理解教學(xué)內(nèi)容,從而大大降低了教學(xué)的難度。
教材中有許多聽力練習(xí)、句型教學(xué)、詞匯教學(xué),需要運(yùn)用聽關(guān)鍵詞的技巧。所謂關(guān)鍵詞即語言中最關(guān)鍵的信息。如本單元Section A la通過操練句型“Where’s my backpack? It’s in/under/on?.”,聽關(guān)鍵詞“in/on ? “,同時(shí),通過聽關(guān)鍵詞加深對(duì)“Where’s??”句型的理解。這種技巧的運(yùn)用有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的注意力。教師通過對(duì)不同事物在何方位的提問,將學(xué)生注意力集中在不懂的方位上,教師在提問之后,自己回答問題并有意識(shí)的加重方位詞“in,0n,under,behind,next to”的讀音,同時(shí)要求學(xué)生重復(fù)自己的回答。聽關(guān)鍵詞不僅僅是有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的注意力,而且能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的判斷能力,勤于思考的習(xí)慣,在思考中遇到困難自我處理或向他人尋求幫助的習(xí)慣。
存在的問題及解決措施:
從課堂教學(xué)氛圍來看,感覺有些單調(diào),初中生不像小生那樣大膽。積極參與課堂活動(dòng)。他們好像是被動(dòng)的,老師叫到了就主動(dòng)參與,沒叫到就不發(fā)言。其實(shí)這種學(xué)習(xí)的方式不利于學(xué)生的成長,如果課堂上少了學(xué)生的積極發(fā)言,那學(xué)生不就成了觀眾了嗎?這樣的課堂缺乏了學(xué)生的主體作用。那么我們應(yīng)該用多種方法調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性,比如說,鼓勵(lì)、表揚(yáng)、分組,做游戲等,從各方面去啟發(fā)學(xué)生的能動(dòng)性,讓他們不僅能學(xué)會(huì)教的語言,還能創(chuàng)造新的語言。
本課的教學(xué)目的主要是讓學(xué)生掌握不同介詞的用法,并會(huì)表達(dá)不同的方位。能夠靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)語言。
在教學(xué)中,學(xué)生在讀的時(shí)候都是沒有出聲的,不叫朗讀,叫默讀,看不出讀的效果。在寫的訓(xùn)練上也流于形式,沒有給范文,就讓學(xué)生直接寫,而且寫的時(shí)間太短,就一分鐘,沒有達(dá)到應(yīng)有的效果。教師充分發(fā)揮在情境中教學(xué),逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生去感悟,理解教學(xué)內(nèi)容,從而大大降低了教學(xué)的難度。
最后,本節(jié)課的教學(xué)任務(wù)雖然得以落實(shí),但在教學(xué)評(píng)價(jià)上似乎也有所欠缺,其實(shí)在小組中完全可以對(duì)每一個(gè)學(xué)生都進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià),讓學(xué)生有一種成就感。也有助于老師從多方面了解學(xué)生情況。從而達(dá)到更好的教學(xué)效果!使課堂更加有趣。
